Make sure to try on everything, sizes variety from one shirt to the other. Great service here, after I had a few items in my hands I was approached to see if they wanted to put them in a dressing room so I could continue to shop with my hands free. I have patronized this store over the past 12 years or so and the service has always been great. Last evening, on the recommendation of our corporate CFO, I asked for Wagih Labib... and experienced a whole new level of service that I thought only existed in movies. Wagih sized me up immediately with no need for a measuring tape and went to work. He started with what I was looking for (dress shirts) and went from there. The next thing I knew I was trying on sports coats, pants and shoes. He put together fantastic combinations of colors, ties, belts and even pocket squares that suited me perfectly. He is a true haberdasher and knows his trade and customers well. I felt truly spoiled and, while I generally despise shopping for cloths, I loved every minute of this 1 hour experience with an old school gentleman's gentleman. Beware Wagih Labib though... While he puts the movie shop keepers to shame (with none of the Pretty Woman sucking up by the way,) you are likely to leave with more than you expected... And you will love every minute of it!

So I called. The associate cancelled that order and sent me an email confirming the cancellation. He advised me to go back to their website and reorder. I did but this time it would not allow me to apply the promo code (said I had already used it). So I called again. This associate re-entered all the information, took my correct shipping and billing address (are the same) and reapplied the promo code. So far so good. She put me on a brief hold and YEP! we got disconnected. So I called back. The third associate could barely communicate in English, and I am very patient and tolerant when English is a second language. She could not figure out how to reapply the promo code to BOTH items on the order. I hung up. I'll to Brook Brothers instead.

When I was finally addressed, the cashier (listed on my receipt as 3155253) spoke in a dismissive tone, handled my items aggressively, avoided any eye contact, and did not greet me. I had to initiate basic politeness by saying thank you and "have a nice day," to which she responded sarcastically. What made this situation even more upsetting was witnessing her interaction with the next customers--a group of white-presenting women--who received warm, attentive service, were asked if they found everything okay, and were engaged in friendly conversation. The contrast was stark and felt discriminatory. As a Black and Hispanic customer, this was hurtful and unacceptable. No one should ever feel unwelcome or disrespected simply for shopping. I am sharing this review not just to raise awareness, but to request action: I would like management to investigate this incident and provide a response regarding how they plan to address such behavior. Additionally, a gesture of goodwill or compensation would be appropriate given the negative experience and clear difference in treatment. Urban Planet has been a brand I've enjoyed supporting, but this experience makes me question whether I can continue to shop here if such behavior is tolerated. I urge management to take this seriously and ensure all customers are treated with respect and professionalism.
