Also felt very safe as they buzz you in the front door and have plexiglass on top of all their display cases (Covid precautions). Once again, I didn't buy any jewelry from them. But I had them polish my platinum wedding band for an upcoming reception / photoshoot. The lady was friendly and told me the price upfront $10.80. She charged me $10 and it took them 5 minutes to make the ring shiny and appear new again. I know polishing platinum is prolly not a good thing repeatedly, but I plan on doing it just this one time. Anyways, I wouldn't hesitate to go to Kim Dao for all your jewelry needs.

After talking to the owner's daughter about what was inside, I couldn't believe I never knew they dealt in antiques. I always thought they only dealt with Jewelry, Gold and Silver. Great family owned business in a convenient location amongst many other interesting shops! It could use a decorating update and display design help, and most of the prices were average. I didn't walk out with anything that I felt was a bargain, but I was very tempted by several items.

I also had another ring that had small sapphires my husband had given me before we were engaged. It also needed repair. I wanted to create one new ring from the stones of both and use my original shank. Kiera worked with me and, together, we sketched out some ideas. When I got my ring upon completion, it was more beautiful than I could have imagined it would be. I am still staring at it. I was also able to keep the diamond in my own possession until they had the setting ready. This was important to me. I had gone to another jeweler previously and, although they told me my diamond was locked in their safe, I found out the hard way that they had actually shipped it to Louisianna. I was furious and that experience made me scared to leave my diamond with someone. Kiera listened to me and had no problem at all with making the ring and then setting the diamond into it. I only had to leave my diamond over for one night.
