Why I will never buy a purse from Michael Kors again!!! My husband bought me a lovely, black leather Michael Kors bag as a Christmas gift. This was the first MK bag we ever purchased as we have always been faithful Coach customers. After using the purse for less than four months, the strap broke. When I called the store with my receipt in hand, the salesgirl said that because I was not a registered buyer in their computer, they couldn't help me and I would have to contact their Customer Service. Clearly she was busy and my call was an annoyance. The funny things was that my husband and I had taken the extra time, while in the store, to give them all of our information and were told we were now in their system. Hmm what happened to that info and why would they not stand behind their merchandise after only a few months? I called Customer Service. I sat on hold for 25 minutes and was then told that at my own expense I would need to ship the purse to their office. They would then look at it and determine if they would fix or send a new purse. I spent the $22.00 to have the purse sent and included a letter, expressing my disappointment and asking them to please send back a new purse. I also asked them to cover the cost of shipping via a gift card. The original purse was returned to me with the handle sewed on. Unfortunately, it looks like it could easily break again. No letter of apology, no gift card. If this is how Michael Kors warranties his products, I don't want anymore. I should have stayed with Coach. I have always found them to stand behind their products and handle customer concerns with ease. read more

This is the worst Michael Kors store that I've been to. Customer service was horrible and especially the manager. When returning items for a refund, the manager gives terrible feedback and comes up with ridiculous excuses. Please be careful when you're buying something because you won't get a refund for the item. read more

I purchased a handbag and matching wallet and the handbag started splitting at the seam just over 2 weeks following purchase. I contacted the store and spoke to Daretye who requested that I email pictures and a copy of my receipt to the store email and I would be contacted within a day or so. After not receiving any response for about 2 weeks, I contacted the store and was told the manager was "busy and someone will call back tomorrow." Once I received a call back 2 days later, I was advised to bring the purse back to the store. After driving an hour back to the store, I picked out a different handbag (they did not have the exact same one in stock and I'm not so sure I really would want the same one considering the issue with splitting seams). First of all, they wanted me to keep the random wallet that did not match. Secondly, they wanted me to pay $80 difference for purchase of a new handbag because the discount that was available when I purchased was no longer in effect. I have never been treated so rudely and disrespectful by store manager, Bailey. Long story short, I kept my handbag with the "manufacturer's defect" and filed a complaint with the BBB for a refund because my faith in this brand is now nonexistent. read more

I'm a huge fan of Michael Kors as a designer, however I really don't like his handbag aesthetic or shoe styles. With that in mind, there is nothing really exciting in this store. I was looking for a bag with Chanel style chains for my mom and Michael Kors did have some similar stuff but the quality was pretty poor. The lining seemed kind of cheap and the stitching was not so great either. The sales people seemed good at what they do, but they were not very warm or inviting. Horrible customer service. After entering the store with intention to purchase a bag we were given horrible service. There were signs saying items were 40% off which encouraged us to grab a bag or two, however when we asked to make sure the bag was on sale the sales woman told us with an attitude "I don't know, go ask at the register" and walked away instead of offering any assistance. There were many of the same bag in the area, so we continued to the register where they were not helpful either, and stated the bag is not on sale, despite the signs saying it was. Went in on a Saturday since I was doing some Christmas shopping. Store was crowded however they only let a certain amount of people go in at a time which is no excuse to be rude! Did not get a "hello", "can I help you" or a "thank you" VERY RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! And it's the outlets not even the mall MK stores are rude! I am a frequent shopper of Michael Kors because I love his stuff and usually have a great shopping experience but this time.. not so much. I don't know what it is about this outlet but everytime I go in there, its like its a hassle to get some help. This weekend I went in and I was told they couldn't size my watch because they were understaffed but 3 associates were just standing around chatting. I know they have good prices but their items are made for the outlets and with awful customer service, I'd rather get the best products and best service at the retail stores. read more

The customer service is horrible, I was there for more than half an hours with so many employees and not being busy you would expected to get greeted, the employees on the floor were just walking around and talking to each other, no one ever acknowledged me, no one said bye either. I think her name was Monica from stock.. i had brought the one i had to compare it to other styles of purses and she helped me decide whether to keep the one that had bought or return it and get something from the outlet store. Worst service/ employees ever!! Came in to buy a gold wallet and asked several workers if they had one in stock. The moment I walked out, a different lady had the one I was looking for in her hands. This place is amazing! I frequently shop here because you just can't beat the prices! Staff is always friendly and the assistant manager Trevor is beyond knowledgeable (since I go so much I always tend to see him there) I've bought about 3/4 bags, a wallet or two and few watches from here and have never had any issues with them. Some people think outlet items are made cheaper but they're not (at least at michael kors). They also recently moved to a bigger location and have much more merchandise! I highly recommend If you're in the area to check them out! read more

Came in a few days ago, and like many have said I didn't get the greatest service from the girl employees there, but there was a young male employee there who even though was sick and couldn't speak he was more friendly to my bf and I than most of the employees there. I was tagging along with a friend of mine who wanted to buy an MK purse. I was looking for something to buy my sister for her 21st birthday but was expecting to go to somewhere else in the outlets for that. My friend found the perfect purse, and as we approached the register I noticed the young lady behind the cash register was wearing the coolest dress that I thought my sister would love. I asked her (Chase) if the dress was from MK, and she said yes and walked around to show me where I could find it. She answered all my questions and explained how it fit and the versatility/comfort of it. She was very patient with me (as I'm a guy who never shops for dresses nor spends over $100 on clothing articles usually), and I decided to get it for my sister. No need for more shopping around! (Always a plus... I do not love shopping.) I couldn't be happier with my purchase at MK. Hope my sister loves it! I, being someone who could never stay genuinely upbeat, patient, and helpful working in retail day-to-day, am really amazed when someone can. Chase is fantastic! read more

Definitely disappointed with my experience today. My mom and I stopped by to exchange a purse she bought a couple weeks ago, but we couldn't find another to her liking. We asked one of the sales people if they had one with black and the dark brown lettering to match an AirPod case we bought in November. We showed her the case attached to our purses and she said that they didn't carry any purses with those color schemes. We walked around for a bit and she saw us again and asked if we planned on buying the AirPod cases attached to our bags cause she didn't see them in the beginning we had literally showed it to her five minutes ago! Her tone was accusatory and unnecessary. It is no way to speak to a customer. We reported her to another employee who then I guess told her what happened and she tried to apologize for how she spoke to us. The supervisor was useless as well since she called the whole thing a misunderstanding and only listened to her side of the story. read more

I came here on Black Friday . Of course I had to wait in line just to see what they had on sale and I was pleasantly surprised to know that everything in the store had an extra 20% off . I found a beautiful handbag reduced to $170 minus 40% minus an additional 20% off! I hit the jackpot that night. The line to pay was not long at all. I love the brand and coming to this location is usually such an enjoyable experience. Unfortunately my last experience was EXTREMELY disappointing. When I requested to speak to management over a very simple issue, I received the most unnecessary attitude and surprisingly distasteful service from supposed manager, Tamara. Watch your self there triple MmM....I love this store. If you spend more than $400 (which isn't hard to do) when you leave they know you by name from here on out. The store manager always takes care of me...she calls me if a new shipment came in and sees something I may like. She also knows the clothing size I wear, what type of sunglasses I like, what purses I like...etc. She really goes out of her way :). Or, if I'm packed with purses and what not I simply tell her I'm good this month, can you call back in 3 more months unless it's something you REALLY think I shouldn't miss out on. About 8 months later I walked in and saw her...she pointed something out to me (a beautiful pair of sunglasses)...she wasn't sure if I would like them or not, but wanted to show them to me....WOW they fit my face perfectly and were of high quality! I bought several more things and recieved the 20% off coupon that they keep for VIP customers. I feel that MnM is on one of their "fat chick" hate parades of that day...so his was written out of anger. I absolutely love coming to this establishment . Every one is so friendly there. The atmosphere is just so energetic and fun I L O V E it !!! Their new store is absolutely beautiful, it's so spacious and bright. The fitting rooms are bigger and there is so much more space to move around. All of their new product is wonderful, I'm loving the bright colors the different styles. I also love how all the associates are so helpful and they are always willing to help you. I've never been in there and left upset. I've been to other Michael Kors and none of them compare. The cashiers are so friendly as well they go the extra mile to engage in conversation and make you feel like more than a customer. They All have beautiful personalities. My two daughters seemed to be obsessed with Michael Kors, so I decided to go in to purchase a few items with my sister for our Christmas presents. The customer service wasn't so great, people were standing around just caring a conversation with each other while there were a lot of customers in the store. I was being assisted by an older lady who was very rude. As I approach the register I was assisted by a young lady named myra, she was very sweet, and just so patient with me while I browsed around for wallets she had suggested. She had a beautiful smile, friendly, funny. We had a really good conversation. she truly was an amazing person to meet. there should be more sales associate like her that go above and beyond. I had the pleasure of being helped by Molly. My experience was very easy. Coming from a guys perspective, shopping for a girlfriend or wife is no easy task and that's one area that we can really butcher. Us men usually never get the right style or color or for that matter even the brand, but Molly made sure I left with something that my girlfriend would love. The girls at this location were all very helpful, I noticed that they were always looking for someone to help and everyone that accepted their assistance was very happy with their selection. Not to mention they are all very kind, this store sees a lot of tourists from other countries so the language barrier seems that it would be tough but these ladies make it work and in the end I didn't see one single person leave without a smile. I like the products, but the customer service was not at its best. To start off I am hispanic. On a Monday afternoon it is not a full store. Typically you receive a greeting and for the most part after being there for more than 1/2 an hour someone would ask if you need assistance. I was looking for a coin purse. As I started walking it was noticeable that people that came in after were being offered assistance and greeted. I forgot to mention, with me were also my husband and mother. The three of us walked our different ways. I noticed that the people assisted where non-hispanic. When I went to go pay, the person ahead of me was also hispanic and had construction clothes on. When asked who assisted him, he said no one did. The cashier did apologize. I wasn't planning on mentioning that I wasn't helped, but then I thought I should speak up. When it was my turn to pay, the cashier asked the same question and I said no one helped me. She apologized, and i told her the store is pretty empty and because the man in front of me and myself are hispanic, it doesn't mean that we needed to be unnoticed. She disagreed with me, and I pointed out the girls in the floor giggling and not attending to the customers. I told her that personally I myself felt discriminated. And because we are Hispanic, it doesn't mean we can't by Michael Kors products. At least this time Michael Kors employees, you were not at your best. You can do better, because at the end you don't know who is contributing to your checks. read more

I will come back to this store every year because of their great customer service. I do my shopping at this Camarillo outlet whenever I am visiting Oxnard. The store has a sales person by the name of Adrianne or Adriana. She was very helpful and really nice and accommodating. I had a personal issue with the purse I bought on New Years Eve. My brother and I came back to the store January 1 to ask for their help about a problem I had with the purse. Do not get me wrong. The purse was in great condition with a little flaw. We told the management what might have happened. The management gave me a new one. We thought they will just fix or clean up the purse They gave us a new purse. Amazing! On our way out Adriana walk us out of the store with a smile and a remark.... It pays to be honest! She even thank us for being honest. Thank you Michael Kors!
