Camarillo Premium Outlets has changed a lot through the years. Midnight Black Friday shopping is a…read moregreat memory for our kids. Although those days are long gone, and many of the stores that made it "premium" are no longer here, it's better than most. There are still some good deals. It's also fairly large so you'll spend a decent amount of time walking through every section. We're usually shopping for something specific -- today it's jeans for the husband. But we always end up with more than planned. :) We browsed through many of the stores, spending much of our time at Lucky Brand, Levi's, Lululemon, adidas, The North Face and Ralph Lauren. We got the best deal on jeans at Levi's and surprisingly found a nice lightweight sweater for him at Lululemon. We like to grab a light snack or drink treat while we shop. Wetzel's Pretzels is a favorite but today we discovered that Boba Time has joined the outlets! Overall, it was a really nice day. I realized when we left that I missed going to Pottery Barn! We'll need to start on that side next time.

The lady from the Chinese place almost got me from her giving me sample of the orange chicken. The rest of the food hall is typical shopping center fare from pizza, Mediterranean, and cheese steaks. The food hall is smallish in relation to how much real estate these outlets have. Outside of the food hall on the property are Wetzel's Pretzels and Fatburger which has its own space for seating. In the early 2010s, I've visited Guess and purchased pairs of sandals. Was not really motivated to check them out. Did visit Nike, Adidas, and Puma. Puma was not busy and had pretty decent prices. Adidas was crazy busy especially with customers interested in FIFA World Cup gear from various countries. Nike was super busy too. I was disappointed that it was implied the item I was trying to exchange had been worn. It was never worn. The issue was that the garment was incorrectly sized. I also exchanged emails with a representative, only to later learn she handled online orders and had not fully addressed my concern. Today, I received a call from a salesperson not the manager informing me that the store would not exchange the incorrectly sized item because the tag was missing, despite my having the original receipt proving it was purchased at this store. As a longtime Theory customer, I find this experience disappointing and inconsistent with the level of service I have come to expect from the brand.

If you choose a style without a collar, it's likely better suited for a regular night out in town. Their partner stores are actually golf related shops. If you have a handful of clothes to buy I would highly consider joining their rewards program and also perhaps leaving one piece of clothing from the purchase unless you can't afford a trip back. I can almost always find my cut of jeans for a discounted price and sometimes even on clearance. This is a must stop for me to stock up on jeans. Especially because they always have a selection that is unmatched by any other department store or even a regular Levi's store. Beyond that, they have a great selection of jackets, shirts, and other clothing items. It's a great place to wander around because you never know what you are going to stumble across. My wife particularly likes the women's section and always finds some shirt or jacket to pick up. Staff is friendly, but often seem overworked/overwhelmed with the crowds. Be patient with them and you will get excellent service. I just wish they could get one or two more people to roam the floor to help people out. I think that would help both the other staff members & the customers.
