I like the fact that I can find my size and that style wise this brand is very consistent of the year. Either size is non-in stock. They have no problem, ordering it and sending it to you for small fee. Value wise many items are 50 to 60% off. this brand does carry larger sizes and Sami fabrics. Love this place! I'll usually come here before hitting the store in Woodland Hills. Snagged two pairs of jeans (blue and grey) and a couple polo shirts. All 40% off. No flaws - possibly just an overstock. Edna was extremely helpful - greeting me on arrival and the placing what I found in a changing room while I continued to shop. Perfect fits for everything. This 5 star rating is only for Michelle, the star employee at this Tommy Bahama Outlet store. We visited the store in November on our way home from a road trip to No.Cal. We shop this store often and have never received such wonderful service. But its an outlet so whatever. Michelle understands the idea of treating people the way you want to be treated. Michelle was super helpful, polite and gracious without encroaching on our space to look around on our own. We mentioned some of my hubby's favorite shirt styles and colors. She said she'd be on the look out and would contact us if she came across any she thought we'd like. Well to our surprise, we received a postcard from her last week...it's February and she remembered She wrote a lovely hand written note to let us know while she had not been able to locate specific items from his wish list, she hadn't forgotten us! Michelle should be in charge of training employees for all Tommy Bahama stores, not just outlets! This is the way customers want to be treated to make them want to return to a store. This experience amplified my most recent opposite experience to the Topanga Plaza (not an outlet-Full Price- store) The manager was lovely but the sales staff treated me like I was interrupting their folding when I asked them to look up 2 items (that I purchased-not shopping, buying!). The Outlets are a great place to find selection and at Tommy Bahama there is no exception. From the moment that we walked in we received service. The salesman helped us on selection ordering items that were not in stock and helping us find the right shirts. Value is about 40% of retail and they do have an 80% off section. I purchased 6 shirts for about $300. Which did include the % dollars to mail items out from other locations. A low cost shirt at the retail locations would be about $118 per shirt. read more

I called in a bit of urgency looking for fine casual shirt for my fiancée. Driving on my lunch break. Called in to the Camarillo Outlet location assisted by Robert. Provided him details what I needed. When I arrived I asked for Robert he immediately acknowledged himself with several shirts for me to view. My husband needed new duds. On a friend's recommendation we tried this place. To my surprise it catered to woman as well as men. My husband got 2 shorts, and about 4 or 5 shirts, I got 1 shirt. Their fabrics are so luxe and feel phenomenal on your skin. I love that they carry many colors and unusual hues for mens clothing. My husband said he's never tried on anything so soft. The clerks working here were helpful when they needed to be and not under foot. I was wondering if a certain shirt came in a smaller size, my clerk was quick to look it up and offered to have it shipped to my home for free, since they only had the one. Sold. I would recommend this store, but more importantly this brand. Beautiful craftsmanship and fabrics. Tommy is one of my husband's favorite brands. Having an outlet near our house is dangerous! We stop in frequently, accordingly. We were in last night and the store was so organized! It was cleaner than most people's homes. We were greeted immediately as we walked in. Most things were 50-75% off! My husband picked up some great deals! It was an easy shopping experience. I highly recommend their clothing. We have items almost a decade old that look like we bought them last week. The majority of the items are retail, not made for outlet. Finding the Tommy Bahama store at the Outlets it ain't fun. There's plenty of parking around. The store is a mess, full of merchandise everywhere, not fun to browse, prices are high for an outlet store. Customer service is OK, restrooms are outside, not hard to find. It's one of these places you can spend some time inside and not finding anything. Not impressed. read more

I like this place, just to visit and reminisce about good times in Hawai'i. The staff here was quite friendly, despite a couple glances shot towards me as if I looked lost, but understandably so seeing how people my age don't really shop Tommy Bahama's on the Mainland. The store is of decent size. I've seen a bigger one in Cali before (I forget where), but this location is a decent size and seems to have a good selection of clothing for both men and women, which some of them can also seemingly be found online. Personally, for me, Tommy Bahama's is a little too.. err.. "grown up" for my taste. When I look into collecting my 401k and Social Security (if they still exist by then) I'll check back with TB's to see if their flare matches the lifestyle and fashion I want to live-out in. Heck, I'll most likely move out to O'ahu by then too. The female's clothing section, however, looks decently good -- from a fashion standpoint-- at least to me. Ok, so it may not be a great idea to take fashion tips from me, but whatever.. it's my review. The whole TB clothing line has a more island-esque fashion, if you will -- backyard BBQ on a summer night type of feel, but I think the female line is designed more for younger adult females 30's, 40's (or maybe borderline cougar?). Ok, that sounded bad. NEVERMIND, SCRATCH ALL THAT. Starting over.. Tommy Bahama's -- ohh how you make me miss Hawai'i. Your clothing is still a little on the expensive side, but it's also one of a kind. Often imitated, but never duplicated. We are a big fan of Tommy Bahama for the clothes are well made and hold up well. This store seemed cramped to me, with racks of clothes too close together. The employees were friendly but not overly enthusiastic to help. The dressing rooms were clean, and there was no wait to use one. The check out line was long with only one cashier, but after waiting a few minutes another cashier finally came to help. I love the Hawaiian music they play here. This is a great place to come to save a few bucks (everything was 50% off this day except for clearance ) and get yourself good quality and fun clothing. I have been to many Tommy Bahama stores from the San Francisco Bay Area, to the East Coast and the islands of Hawaii and always end up buying something. These stores have all been excellent in greeting you as you come in and helping you shop. This store is the complete opposite. My son and I walked in and were not greeted by any of the 3 ladies at the counter. A couple of minutes later, other customers walked in and were immediately greeted and attended to. We left the store to get my wife and daughter as I wanted their opinions on some shirts. We walked in and again no greeting from the ladies even though they were not doing anything but talking amongst themselves. I loved and wanted to buy a few Aloha shirts. You would assume that when they saw me holding these items and saying how much I love the shirts heading to the cash register, the ladies would acknowledge us ... nope. That's when I decided to put them down and walk out. I'll just either head to one of the SF Bay Area stores or order them online. read more

Why? 1) Quality TB clothes/products - the same clothes/products as you find in the retail stores. 2) TB employees - they make the shopping experience extraordinary with their consistent, out of the box approach to service. 3) Value - great deals with occasional added discounts for quality...we're all yearning for quality at value with service, right?!
