This is what they sold me and included a vague line item for in the receipt. I had to take a picture for my own docs.

Avoid! So many issues. 1) When purchasing a new car from them they upsold a "Team 23" maintenance package that was supposed to include 6 free service appointment but when time came to utilize it they acted like they never even heard of it in the service department. Actually took pictures of that offer and every time I went in it was such a headache to deal with. They honored it only twice and played dumb afterwards. Service manager unresponsive to any messages. Didn't have time to deal with them anymore and took my business elsewhere. Felt very shady to me. 2) Nissan is going way down hill. My 2023 had issues and service never addressed them (like rattling speakers on a brand new car). It was a warranty repair and they said they "fixed it" but I don't even know if they did any work on at all because nothing ever changed. Again huge time waster. 3) The salesperson misrepresented the optional extended warranty. They said to my face it was being offered from Nissan directly but if you look at the fine print it was actually from a 3rd party company called Fidelity Warranty Services and it runs concurrent to the 3 year manufacturer warranty. So in essence you are double paying those first 3 years and only after that does the extra warranty kick in. Bottom line next car is not gonna be a Nissan and next dealership certainly won't be Michael Jordan Nissan. If you do deal with them, do not believe anything they say and read over every document very carefully. I suggest just not going there at all. You've been warned!

Originally bought my van from here and back when I bought it the place was great but over time had just gotten worse. I took my van to get repaired due to a loss in power and was told it was the timing chain and needed to be replaced and the a timing sensor and paid $6,200 in parts and labor just for me to pay and pick it up exactly the same way I originally brought it in! Called and the said just now that my catalytic converters may be clogged and it'll be another $3,700 to repair that so I basically am spending close to $10,000 in repairs. UPDATE got the catalytic converters changed by my own mechanic and issue still didn't get fixed the other mechanic states that the timing chain wasn't installed properly causing to misfire and cause issues with it and make more damage to my engine

Really disappointed with the sales department at this "dealership." I have had to use their service department before and was pleased with the results. As for purchasing a car here, stay away. First their online pricing is misleading unless you qualify for every type of discount Nissan offers. They also try to charge you for many items you do not want like phone charging cords for $90, all weather mats for $400 and a first aid kit for $200. Then the "sales" manager will tell you that you have to get their Team 23 Service plan for $2500, not an option but a requirement. Next, they offered us $3000 less than 3 other dealerships offered for our 2016 Trade in. They offered $5100 for a car they will sell for over $10,000. At this point I'm more than a little upset. I begin to question the charges and the "sales" manager interrupts me. At that point, I was done. My first thought was that perhaps he didn't understand we were serious about purchasing the car today so I told him we paid cash for our last car to point out he's missing a sale by not dealing in good faith. I guess he assumed incorrectly again, this was me bragging(Since he said Congratulations) when I was just trying to buy a car today.....it's not contingent on loan approval, etc. We went to Fred Anderson Nissan in Raleigh. Everyone there was much friendlier and straightforward in their pricing which is where we purchased the new car today. Way to lose a sale. Yelp's 2 stars for their "sales" dept is generous.

What a difference two years makes. They have hired an entire new staff at Michael Jordan Nissan and I needed to trade in my kicks to lower my monthly costs after Fred Anderson took advantage of my naïveté on a trade in. The first one to meet me was Tony at the door and ushered me right into Mia who had been so kind reaching out to be with options. I was then sent over to Michael who spoke to me as a person not through paper and Jonathan is just an outstanding, compassionate and sympathetic man went to bat getting the numbers where I needed. When I changed my mind about the initial car after I signed the papers, there was no anger or debating, just a good human wanting to help. I ended up with a car that I'm happy with and can pay for without sweating every month. This is the place to be if you want to go through the car buying process with the least stress. Thank you to all the staff at Michael Jordan.

She suffered a radiator reservoir explosion, and I had to pull over ASAP before a fire started. I had already been ready to retire her due to other future repair costs, but circumstances forced my hand early, so I got to work researching available and newer Subaru Outback models. I visited one large dealership within five days, but their staff were extremely duplicitous, so I promptly left feeling very misled and annoyed. Enter the exemplary and professional staff at Durham Auto Mart: Chip, Toby, and other colleagues who I did not have the pleasure of meeting. I found a listing on Carfax to Durham Auto Mart for a 2013 Subaru Outback that looked in great shape, awesome Carfax report, low mileage, and in an excellent price range. I called Durham Auto Mart to inquire, but Chip sadly and graciously informed me that another buyer had already made an offer. He promised to call me back if it fell through though. And that he did. I was sitting at home pondering how long it would take to find a better deal, when suddenly my phone rang, and Chip gave me some excellent news. As my luck would have it, the other buyer was militantly insistent on trading in his very, very old car, which was not in good enough condition to be of any resale value, and somehow this condition completely undid his commitment to the 2013 Outback. Chip and I spoke for over 30 minutes. I asked him intensive, detailed questions about the vehicle, and he answered all my queries with specificity and patience, and he deeply impressed me with his knowledge and passion for all automotive matters. He was so authentically convincing that I (wisely) chose to immediately book an Uber and head straight for Durham Auto Mart. On arrival Chip greeted me heartily, and we got straight to business. I took a long look at the Outback and its myriad new features, then Chip and I took it for a test drive. I absolutely loved how it handled and was sold on it within minutes. On return we began the long and laborious process of certifying credit, transferring insurance, signing innumerable documents, and even hit a bizarre snag whereby Equifax decided that I didn't exist! Chip handled the problem ably and with determination. We learned that it was simply an issue with my name (I have two middle names) and eventually the system cleared me with flying colors and a very reasonable interest rate. Throughout this process, there was no artifice or deception from either Chip or Toby. Both of these gentlemen were straightforward, honest, and did not pressure me at all. Durham Auto Mart's transfer fees are low compared to competitors, there are no hidden "junk" fees bundled in with the purchase, and Toby explained all my warranty and financing options in detail. Some dealerships might have tried to take advantage of my inexperience in buying a car, as after all this was the first vehicle I'd bought in 20 years, but Chip and Toby did the exact opposite. They acted in good faith and treated me with grace and respect throughout, and they were excellent conversationalists. I strongly and without hesitation recommend Durham Auto Mart as a business and endorse their staff as trustworthy individuals. They have been in operation for nearly 50 years and my experience with them abundantly demonstrates why they have endured for so long. Independent businesses are so important to support in an era of increased centralization and corporatization, so if you need a car, even from afar, give Durham Auto Mart a call. -Anthony Joyce

Johnson Lexus Durham service used to extremely reliable (barring one past episode 5 years ago)- I actually took my car for 10 years to the same service specialist. However, my recent experience has me rethinking... They incorrectly failed my 2015 Lexus on the state inspection - tire tread was 2.3 as reported by them, while low from a safety standpoint, it is not a failure by state inspection (which is at less than 2), they required replacing four tires at $1340. Which is $445 above Costco charges. Secondly the rear 12v lighter wasn't working, it was a fuse that is easily accessible they put in a charge for $120 and had told me some sort of fusible link - I didn't know what that meant initially I approved it and upon further research and their own invoice said it was a fuse. Those fuses are cheap and easily accessible and shouldn't require 1 hour of labor. Old Lexus used to do this sort of service complementary sometimes. There were multiple errors that seemed to be designed to give them more money, and I am wondering if service management has changed that pushes for more revenue and profitability margin than serving the customer. While they corrected both of these errors and reversed $120 charge and redid inspection and passed without tires having to be changed. I hope they improve and not continue this path - this is path that Honda Durham was on and I moved on from that brand. I was planning on purchasing an RX-350 due to comfort and ease of servicing with Lexus as well as the vehicles, but has me rethinking if I should go all electric with Rivian R2 instead in the future. Oh, BTW, what is that flange you ask, that was just non-existing fusible links in modern cars - its joke for that have seen old Seinfeld episode :-)

I took it back to the shop and they told me it had essentially no coolant in it. I immediately asked the technicians why there was no coolant. They told me, "It was filled up when it was here." When I asked, "Then why is there no coolant in it now?", they couldn't give me an explanation beyond repeating that they had filled it. The car continued losing coolant and overheating. I brought it back multiple times, and I was repeatedly told that they had pressure-tested the cooling system and that there were no pressure issues and everything was fine. They also told me there were no warning lights indicating a problem. Meanwhile, I was constantly having to refill the coolant and pull over when the car overheated. One time I had to sit on the side of the road for about 45 minutes waiting for a friend to bring me coolant just so I could get the car home without overheating it. Eventually the car broke down on the highway and had to be towed. After all those previous visits where I was assured the cooling system was fine, I was finally told that the head gasket had blown and that replacing the engine would cost around $6,000. After I challenged that price, the estimate was suddenly reduced to around $3,000. I'm not upset that a Subaru developed a mechanical problem. I'm upset that I repeatedly reported coolant loss and overheating, and I was repeatedly told the cooling system was fine. The car eventually suffered a major failure anyway. I don't trust this shop and I won't be taking another vehicle there. If you're dealing with a recurring mechanical problem, I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before continuing to rely on their diagnosis
