Had a great time at this comedy club this weekend. We came to see Mohanad Elshieky, a comedian I found on TikTok a few years ago. I was happy to see him make a stop in AZ and was excited to get tickets. Prices were fair and easy to purchase online with will call pickup at the door - alphabetized by last name. We found parking nearby and there seems to be plenty of it (personally I would avoid any paid lots and stick to the free ones). The club itself is small and intimate; we were sat at the table right in front of the stage next to another party, but thankfully with a chair buffer in between us. I'm guessing when the tix sell out, it would be more crowded. They do have booths in the back for vip seating. I love that there's no drink minimum here and that complimentary cold water is served. I tried a slice of one of the pizzas and I liked it, it had shrimp, artichoke, olives and other toppings. Service was friendly and available. The host, opener, and headliner were all funny and we enjoyed our night here. I got hot during the show but may have been all the laughing. I'd come back and see another show! read more

I have them a 5 because over all it was fun. We went for the bingo and it's a lot. lol not your normal Bingo place but over all fun. Drives were ok, food was ok. Little pricey for what you get. It's very small place but our night we went, there weren't a lot of people so the crowd will have to participate. read more

I recently attended a comedy show, my first since having moved to Arizona a few months ago. I went to see Damon Darling at Mic Drop Mania. As a first time experience, here are my observations: Pros: 1. The club is intimate, which is good and if the comedian is good, the club can be a full house. 2. There was air circulation flowing steadily throughout the club. I attended in mid-November so this might be questionable during other parts of the year. 3. There is no drink minimum requirement as most comedy clubs enforce this. 4. The staff was nice (at least on the night I attended). Cons: 1. The seating setup is not ideal. It is more like cafeteria style and just doesn't flow well with the layout of the club. The club's layout is long and narrow, and for this, the seating tables should be round with chairs. This is excluding the built-in booths which are fine for groups. Hopefully the club's seating can be rearranged because the current layout isn't very good. When you compare it to other clubs, it takes away from the experience and ambiance. 2. I'm sure many people have mentioned this but the food/drink menu is very poor. There's no variety and the available options provided are limited, honestly, unappealing. I reluctantly ordered some pizza because I needed to eat something but the taste was terrible--not fresh at all and stale. Additionally, the menu design is also terrible, unpleasant to the eyes and does not draw focus on any of the items one might consider ordering from. Some might see this as petty but as a creative myself, I'm all about marketing. This needs a definite redesign but overall, the menu needs far better food options for a club (e.g. chicken strips or tenders, fries, sliders or burgers, pretzel bites (no one needs two Bavarian pretzels, one maybe), or include foods like mac-n-cheese, or soups, etc. There's many options that can be added but the club owner needs more creative restructuring. The menu also doesn't provide non-alcoholic drinks, such as tea, lemonade, hot chocolate, or other beverages. In fact, it doesn't really accommodate non-alcoholic drinkers and is assumed that all guests will drink alcohol, which is poor judgment. Your only options are water or alcohol. I couldn't order any drinks from the menu except water, which was served in a small plastic cup. I hope the club owner see this review and can make improvements where needed. There is potential but the owner has to want to tap into that potential for improvement. read more

We had a great time seeing a show last night to see Charles McBee. He was hilarious as well as the opening comics. We purchased VIP tickets since this included reserved seating. It was our first time here. Entry into the venue was delayed by about 30 minutes for the late show. However, once in things went smoothly. The venue is small and intimate. We had a booth for the 4 of us which was very co fortsble. We loved that there was no drink minimum for the show. We did not eat here but we did share a bucket of drinks. We were able to mix beer, hard cider, and hard seltzer which was nice. The server came by frequently and others came by to fill our water often. Two of our cans spilled over in the bucket and the server immediately replaced them without issue. Great experience overall! read more

We had an unexpected blast here Saturday Night. One of my favorite comedians that I follow on IG was here again, and after I missed the last visit, I didn't hesitate to grab 2 tickets without knowing much of the venue. I opted for the VIP Tickets, which are the cushioned booths on the wall you see in other pictures. Depending on your party size, it can hold, I think, up to 6. We were 2 and eventually had another party of 2 join us, but that was expected. All the other seats are floor seats and everything is 1st come... If you did the VIP, it started in the middle directly across from the stage, and worked itself closer to the door. They don't have a full liquor license yet, but the cocktails they had were pretty solid, and the kitchen had quite a few good things, such as nachos and pizzas. We did the 2nd show, which was good as we came full so didn't partake so much on the food but the other party at our table ordered something and enjoyed. 1st show ran over a bit, but the staff kept us in the loop and let us know as they have a starting line outside. Once in, the venue's vibe had a Spooky/Fright feeling to it, which wasn't intense, but "eclectic," and that's something we like. The show was great and the comedians did a great job of engaging with the crowds and at no time did I feel the staff serving others impeded on our experience. I signed up for the newsletter as I'm looking forward to returning for some of the other events and comedy shows. It's a small and intimate venue, and it felt like everything was personable. I've lived in the area a year and didn't discover this place until about 6 weeks ago and I'm addicted! I love a good funny time with a cocktail and both hit here everytime! Funny comedians! Great service! You won't be disappointed if you come, don't be sensitive about everything, it's all good fun; exactly what comedy is suppose to be. In a perfect world I'd prefer table arrangements to be different with more personal space ,but this is a quaint venue,not huge. I did see some booths , but not sure if you have to reserve or not.I wasn't sure if photos were allowed or I would have took some and a short video. Love this place! read more

I've seen two stand up comedy shows here and both have been great! The price is super reasonable and they don't have an annoying 2 drink minimum here like the bigger comedy clubs do. Their email newsletters also offer a lot of good deals. It's a smaller, more intimate venue which I like and has some fun, spooky themed decor! There's a good selection of both food and drinks. Purchased three tickets online to Brunch Bingo this past Sunday and we had a blast! I brought my mom and sister along with me and we all had a great time. The server was very attentive and friendly. She brought us menus right as we sat down and she took our orders quickly. The comedians that were running the bingo were funny af and quite entertaining. The Bloody Mary was delicious and perfectly made. Bingo lasted about an hour and a half and the time flew by. We had so much fun and cant wait to come back! Next bingo is on 12/15/2024! read more

Some friends had reserved a booth for their Drag Kings Brunch event and we were invited to come along. Located in the downtown area of Chandler, this is a lively little venue that brings in artists from a big array of backgrounds. The event we attended was hosted by a Drag King (think woman dressed in men drag!) and revolved around a fun bingo game event. This review is for the venue and NOT for the show! The show was amazing and fun and we laughed a lot! First time to a Drag King show and won't be our last! So back to the venue itself...they offered a brunch menu that included some breakfast nachos, breakfast tacos, a traditional eggs & bacon dish, French toast and a breakfast sandwich. The food overall was meh and that was the feeling of everyone who ate. There were six of us and we ordered a variety of dishes. I had the nachos and wife got the continental. We both felt like seasoning was lacking, eggs were ok but wife wondered if they were true eggs or powdered? The bacon was crispy, most likely microwaved to achieve that crispy texture. The person who had the French Toast found the center a bit gummy and again, lacked any seasoning. It's evident that food isn't the center of their attention. What made up for the food were the drinks in everyone's opinion. I just had water but several did a variety of their bar drinks and the biggest hit had to have been the Black Magic Mojito, which actually turns your lips and tongue black! Overall a fun event itself and the bingo game and King Drag show was amazing...we most likely would eat before or after next time. read more

Great venue. Definitely go see a comedy show here! They have light bites and drinks. Beer for $9. Typical pricing. The seats are kind of close together but it feels like it brings a sense of togetherness. Service is decent. They do what they can to not distract you from the show/not distract the comedian. What a great date night! My husband was gifted tickets from our neighbor and we are glad we went!! We saw the comedy show at 7pm on 3/8 . The ambiance was intimate and gorgeous. Parking was easy, and lots of great options to eat and hang in the area before and after the show. The staff were friendly and attentive, they even have an awesome nonalcoholic espresso martini! Went to see Taylor Williamson and the night was great! Tickets were reasonable with no drink minimum however, they had some wonderful cocktails available on the menu. This is a nice improv comedy club located in downtown Chandler. It is a small place but they also have a nice patio area in the back. Been here a couple times. Watched the comedy show inside and the second time it was in the patio area in the back of the club. Was shocked and annoyed that a customer was smoking pot before the show in the patio area!!Before I could even complain, the server noticed it and asked him to leave which I appreciated. The one thing I really like about this place is that they don't have a 2 drink minimum like most comedy clubs and prices are reasonable. They also have a decent food menu. I really want to love this place as the staff is really nice but both times, the comics were just not funny:( it felt painful at times. We participated in the ghost walk. Very disappointing! Supposed to start at 6:45, started at 7:05pm. Was supposed to be 75 minutes, but ended just before 8pm. The tour guide just read from a piece of paper. I was expecting more history, and some stories about murder and mayhem. But the only history was what the building used to be. Zero stories except a few about ghost sightings in the buildings. I have done a lot of ghost walks/tours. And this one was the worst And for $40 per person, I would have expected so much more!! read more

We had dinner at a restaurant there in downtown Chandler and decided to walk around afterwards seen the door was open when asked about it and they said they had a show starting in 10 minutes. We attended a comedy show at Mic Drop Comedy on Friday, Sept 19 Located in downtown Chandler, Arizona, It was our first time attending this venue. What an awesome place! First off my husband is handicap and the staff was able to accommodate his seating needs. We were comfortably seat with several other people as well. There was plenty of room to move around - with the bathroom facilities being easy to access. Both the opening comedian and the headliner were just hilarious - they had the place just roaring with laughter! We also liked that they didn't have a two drink min per person ( some comedy clubs have this requirement).. The drink and food prices were reasonably priced and both were delicious. Plus, their admission price is very, very affordable. We look forward to catching more shows at Mac Drop. read more

First time visiting their new location. Wow! What an improvement! Actually feels like a real comedy club now. On a night that was 109 outside it was nice and cool on the inside. We got seated in a booth which was nice. My wife and I tried their spicy watermelon margaritas and they were delicious. The comedians were all pretty good. Definitely a fun night out. read more

I'm throughly impressed with Mic Drop Mania. I went to a small comedy show (Stoney McBlaze), it was a great show, cute little spot. It is a small place and it's not possible for a huge crowd, that's fantastic to me. Service was on point, very nice and quick. They had food but I didn't eat. Had a very fun time with my wife and a couple friends of ours. The acts were really funny. The venue was intimate, but didn't feel to small or crowded. My only critique is that the mixed drinks don't live up to the description on the menu or the price charged. I had a margaritta that was a purchased pre-made mix sugar bomb. I had to order a shot of tequila to put in it just to make sure it had alcohol and to dilute the sweetness. I'll definitely be back....but will stick to beer. read more
