Why 3 stars? Yes the pizza is great tasting and they did a good job with the crust, but $6 to $10 per slice! NO WAY! That is wrong. It's bread, sauce and tomato sauce. No amount of toppings on a slice that small is going to equate that expense. I ordered HALF a pie of their Pepperoni Proper to go. When it was all said and done it was almost a $40 total. The pie was cold and no I did not wait long to try it (less than 5 min). I payed extra for mozzarella cheese and they gave me the equivalent of 4 tbls of cheese for half a pie . That is typical in the Miami food scene, you pay a lot for something and they don't want to serve you what you paid for. Too expensive you can get much better, way more, for a reasonable price else where. One of the most amazing if not the most amazing pizza you will ever try is renowned Lucali in Brooklyn, yes I know there is one in Miami Beach (it has to be that NYC water) haven't tried what the beach one taste like but I did wait the 3-4 hours in Brooklyn and that is just next level. Another amazing spot John's in Bleeker street, Greenwich Village, NY; again next level. Besides these I recommend Mister 01 in the Grove amazing pizza with multiple toppings the whole pie no where near the exuberant prices of Miami Slice. read more

The staff was extremely friendly and open my box to make sure I got the right order which I appreciated. I was very excited to try this pizza after all the incredible reviews this place gets. I went last night. There had a good line took me 15-20 minutes just to order another 10 to get my food. You can purchase bottles of beer outside for five dollars which is a pretty good deal. Parking is really bad around here. They do offer five dollar valet parking at the building around the corner for three hours. Make sure you get your stamp for validation. Now on to the review of the pizza. I'm a former New Yorker so I know good pizza. The crust and dough itself were high-quality. Nice amount of char and chewiness to the dough, the sauce was tasty and flavorful yet not too sweet. I ordered the proper pepperoni as well as the margherita. The pepperoni was my favorite! I would've preferred a little bit more char on the pepperonis them self but overall a very high-quality slice of pizza and a the other slice was also good. They also give you the fresh basil to add on top which I enjoyed and the hot honey is definitely something you need to definitely add it to the pizza or ask for it on the side like I did, I will be back to try the other selections. They have the mushroom melody and the leek and bacon pizza. I do feel the price is quite high for what you get. $7 to almost $9 per slice in my book is a little pricey for pizza. If you want to sweat profusely and be on high alert to swat away flies and mosquitoes the entire time then this is the place for you! Indoor seating is super limited and you have to arrive before they open to even get sat inside. You also have to wait in line outside for a while before you're even able to go inside and order. And all the while, the most mid, overpriced pizza is being whipped together in the back. The staff are nice. I'm sure they know it's an uncomfortable and inconvenient experience for guests as it probably is for them. My wife and I were excited to try pizza from Miami Slice. The atmosphere is cool. It's very cozy inside. A lot of people are eating whole pies outside as there's not many seats inside - I believe you have to order slices if you're dining in (although I might be wrong). After a few minutes of standing around confused as to who to talk to about getting a seat, we were greeted. We had a seat at the pizza bar (I saw videos online of people waiting online for hours so we considered ourselves pretty lucky). Once we sat down our server came by a few minutes later. She seemed a bit bothered, which is fine - everyone has good and bad days and servers are definitely not immune to that. At the restaurant they want you to order all of the slices you want at once, which kind of sucks. The slices are big and they're pretty expensive - one of the slices comes out to just under 15$ if you add their recommended ingredients to it. I understand the place is small and they have alot of clients so my assumption is that they wanted us in and out. Nevertheless, we ordered. The pizza seemed to be precooked earlier in the day then they reheat and prepare it upon order. They give you a pizza cutter so you can share with your guests which I appreciate. The cost of these pizzas are not cheap and the slices are big so it helped us enjoy as many as possible. The slices were solid. The ingredients seemed fresh. They're very creative. However, for a nearly 15$ slice of pizza, my wife and I expected to have our socks knocked off and we didn't. All of the extra ingredients made the pizza get soggy after awhile - if you get this slice, then I'd recommend eating it before the others. All of the pizzas had alot of ingredients on a single slice, so it was a little overwhelming for us - but that's only our opinion so please take it with a grain of salt. We were both hungry after finishing the pizza and we wanted to order again but we were both conscious of their ask of ordering only once. Plus we did not see our server after she took our order until we got the bill. If we were to visit the place again, it'd be for takeout. Maybe it was the tropical humid weather, a bad day, or their feeling of missing out on Copa America because they're working, but the staff did not make us feel very comfortable dining at their establishment. This pizza is only okay if you're able to get takeout and eat it at home. We didn't wait too long to order takeout, but we had to sit very crammed outside in the heat with mosquitoes EVERYWHERE. After much time I was finally able to make to Miami Slice. We got there on a Wednesday at around 7ish and fortunately there was no line. We waited a quick 5 mins and sat down inside. We ordered a pepperoni pizza with stracciatella and hot honey as well as the mushroom truffle. The pizzas look very aesthetically pleasing and prestine. The first bite into the pizza was like seeing stars. My favorite out of the two was the mushroom truffle pizza it was so simple yet so flavorful. My boyfriend's favorite was the pepperoni and hot honey one. I would highly recommend this place if you love pizza but definitely get there before 7:30 so you don't have to wait a line. read more

For New York style pizza , it is very delicious. Get the cheese in the side, it's worth it and adds to all pizzas not just the Margherita. One is enough . The only way I see their business model working is simply because they are milking the social media/influencers as long as they can. 10/10 I'm glad I arrived about 30 mins before opening because once 5pm hit the line was pretty long. Folks have the option to either dine in by putting their name on a wait list or wait in line outside for take out. I arrived 30 mins prior to opening and was third on the wait list and almost was immediately seated. The to go line was pretty long but they keep you occupied with $5 line beer. The takeout line can take some time because they only take one take out order at a time. Come hungry because the slices are large but each person can order 2-3 slices will be more than enough. My two favorite slices were the leeks and bacon slice and the pepperoni and make sure you add the strachiatella cheese it takes the flavors to a whole other level. Worth the price mark up. Went to the pop up they have in Key Biscayne a few weeks ago and wow. With all the hype this place gets I was expecting it to be the best pizza I've ever had. It couldn't be further from the truth. First of all, the price per slice is ridiculously expensive for no reason. I had a slice of their Hot honey & pepperoni, a slice of their marinara and pesto and a slice of mushroom and truffle oil. The texture of their pizza was my favorite part, a well done New York slice. Their hot honey and pepperoni was nothing out of this world, a million places make that pizza and it was good. The marinara and pesto did not taste like pesto. I think what they did was cook the pizza after they put on the pesto sauce instead of putting it on the pizza after they cooked it. The pesto loses its freshness and could have been a mistake but for $9 a slice I expected more. And lastly the mushroom and truffle oil was nothing even remotely worth $11 a slice. The mushrooms didn't taste clean and not a hint of truffle oil. I assume, again, they cooked the pizza after adding the truffle oil. I was really expecting a lot from this place after receiving so much hype, but maybe it's just the Key Biscayne location that didn't live up to the main locations hype.
