I was on my way to miami airport and stopped here for an early dinner. I enjoyed my meal here. I tried the pizza and the lobster pasta. Both were excellent. I didn't care for their free appetizer. It looks like a plant so presentation is great but didn't taste good. See photos.

Very beautiful place. If you're looking for a unique spin on pizza this is the perfect place for you. Service was fast

Margarita pizza. Very light and Neapolitan.

Had to check this place out once I heard about it. The vibe is really nice here. I loved the atmosphere. The food was also pretty delicious including the pizza and Cod that we had. The service was subpar. The server did not seem interested and engaged and was not helpful with the menu. I also gave this place 4 stars because portion sizes are very small and not worth the price.

Had the pleasure of having dinner at Francesco matucci crowns the best pizza chef in the world. When it comes to pizza there's tons of different styles so take that and to that point he makes amazing Neapolitan style pies. I went with a group of 10 and had an amazing intimate private dinner in a hidden room almost speakeasy like. With such a big group we basically created our own tasting menu. Trying 7 different versions of his pies, two versions of frittatina and tortelli cacio e pepe. While all great in their own way in my opinion the pizza that stood out the most was the futuro di marinara, first baked then fried dough is soft as a cloud but also has a nice crisp towards the crust. With just one bite I had a blast of umami in my mouth that still shocks me and just for that pizza alone I'd go back to this place any day.

    Outrageous tip included.

What a mess. This was heading toward 2.5 stars... until the grand finale. We walked in genuinely excited. Cool, hip vibe. Very "see and be seen." Busy, but not packed. The kind of place that wants you to know it's important. The evening began with an amuse-bouche that looked like a charming little potted plant. Cute concept. Unfortunately, it tasted like something you'd scrape out of a compost bin. As we glanced around the room, we noticed the same universal expression at every table: polite confusion followed by regret. Next up: Frittatina Come una Mafalda. If you've ever had the deep-fried mac and cheese bites from Costco, congratulations, you've had a superior version. This was hard, overcooked, and impressively bland. Quite a feat, honestly. Then came the Insalata di Funghi Assoluti. The fried mushrooms on top were lovely. The rest of the salad, however, had been absolutely baptized in a dressing so aggressively mediocre that it smothered any trace of mushroom or vegetable beneath it. Now for the headliner: Le 7 Consistenze della Cipolla. Allegedly their signature. For a mere $38, you receive what is essentially an 8-inch personal onion pizza. The pickled onions didn't "accent" the dish; they staged a hostile takeover. The crust was greasy, the flavors never harmonized, and the whole thing felt like seven different ideas arguing with each other. We were disappointed, but prepared to chalk it up to hype. Then the bill arrived. Automatic 20% service charge. Plus a 20% tip line. A casual 40% before you've even blinked. That took this from a 2.5-star "not for us" to a firm 1-star experience. The service was good. It was not "luxury yacht crew on Monaco Grand Prix weekend" good. As we left, we noticed nearly every table had unfinished food boxed up. Portions were small, and enthusiasm was even smaller. We chatted with the two tables next to us. Same verdict across the board: overrated, overhyped, overpriced, and underwhelming. If they want staying power, they might start by rethinking both the tipping policy and the kitchen. We won't be back. And neither will anyone we know.

    Arancino

Last night my wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Francesco Martucci in Miami, and the experience exceeded expectations from start to finish. We began with the arancino, and from the first bite, the flavors transported me straight back to Catania and Taormina. It carried that authentic Sicilian depth -- balanced, comforting, and beautifully executed. For the main course, she ordered the Parmigiana pizza frita, and I had the Capricciosa Secondo Martucci pizza al forno. These pizzas are, without exaggeration, among the best I have ever tried. The dough was delicate, airy, and perfectly structured. You could taste the freshness in every ingredient -- nothing felt heavy or overdone. The balance between tradition and refinement was evident. For dessert, we shared the tiramisu, presented in a creative and elegant way that elevated a classic without losing its identity. Our server, Walter, was Italian, friendly, and highly knowledgeable about the menu. His recommendations and explanations added depth to the experience. The ambiance is chic, very Miami, yet tasteful. The décor is intentional, modern, and well thought out. It feels like a destination. Yes, the pricing is on the higher side. But when you're talking about one of the best pizzaioli in the world, the quality justifies the cost. This place absolutely deserves recognition -- it should be on the Michelin Guide radar. Recommendation: Adding valet parking would be a great future enhancement. I understand the restaurant is new, but it would complement the overall premium experience. A memorable night, authentic flavors, and a restaurant worth revisiting.

Food was good (3.5 stars) The service was outstanding!! Thanks to Alvin who did a fantastic job taking care of our table of 6 last night!! The 5 stars are all for him!

    Allan R.

Excellent vibe and fantastic service. I'm confident he will dial in a few of the kinks with the pizzas over time. We tried the artichoke pizza and a tomato pizza. Flavor-wise, we preferred the artichoke pizza, while the tomato pizza really shined in structure. The artichoke pizza had incredible taste, but the center was a bit wet and soggy and tended to drip. The crust wasn't quite firm enough and didn't have the same thick, well-defined edge that made the tomato pizza so outstanding. The tomatoes on the tomato pizza were delicious, and the crust was absolutely amazing.

This place was the perfect first night in Wynwood, we got to our hotel late and were tired and hungry from traveling all day. We Got there 10 minutes before the kitchen closed but they were willing to seat us and serve us anyways. We ordered the Margherita Pizza and it did not disappoint. The servers were so kind, joking and laughing with us, making us feel so welcome, and the manager (we believe) came over and talked to us to see how things were going. We ordered an Affogato and it was AMAZING. At the end of the dinner we were given complimentary lemoncello and it was the perfect end to a great evening. We will be going back next time we're in the area.

Came to visit this place while we were passing by in Miami . Street level entrance . Street Parking . Food served quickly . We had a fettuccine pasta - tomato's with lobster dish . Pretty flowers on dish. Then a pizza that was fried then baked with tomato's etc tasted great. Friendly staff . Family - friends atmosphere .

This new restaurant arrived with a lot of press and strong recommendations, so it felt like a must-visit. The space itself is very pleasant and welcoming, not dramatically different from the previous Argentine restaurant that occupied the location, but with a few updates that give it a refreshed feel. The restaurant was full, with a great ambiance and great vibe.  The service was excellent--very courteous, fast, and friendly.  The menu includes a few additional items, but pizza is clearly mandatory.  Our group ordered three different pizzas, and after everyone tried them all, we got to the same conclusion, which was somewhat reassuring. Each pizza was distinct, well prepared, and flavorful, with a noticeable presence of olives, a focaccia-like texture, and a very good tomato sauce. The crust of the pizza was excellent--light and crispy. I especially liked that even though the pizza was a good size and I ate the entire portion, I did not feel overly full at all.  While the pizzas were enjoyable and delicius, there is a considerable distance between that and calling them the best pizzas I have tried. In terms of flavor, nothing felt particularly memorable to me Their  tiramisu for me, was disappointing but was overly creamy  and lacked balance. The cocktail experience was about the same. Although the cocktail menu was attractive and full of gourmet descriptions, the final results were simply well-made versions of classic cocktails.  Next time i will stand with wine. They had a wine list with solid selections at reasonable prices. I would like to return to try other pizzas and form a more complete opinion. It is possible that the pricing reflects the quality of the ingredients, but unfortunately the ingredient quality did not translate into flavors that truly impressed.  Overall, it is good. Period.

That experience was a little better. Back then, I had no idea Joe's was a chain from NY because my experiences in LA were so mediocre. But it became nostalgic to me because it was the only pizza spot during the pandemic that got better while other spots got worse so I started ordering more regularly. I was happy to see Joe's here and this time I had to come back for a third time in Miami. The Caprese pie was my favorite. The ingredients here are way fresher than anything I've had in the west coast and the location was much cleaner as well! In general, we were disappointed with Miami's food selection but Joe's in Miami is where it's at! The service was average. They were friendly the first time but not so much the other times. The pizza was amazing though and that's all that matters.

So my very high level of anticipation may certainly be partially to blame for my average-ish experience. I was pleasantly surprised to get a table with no wait at ~6:30 on a Wednesday evening. Staff were attentive and friendly. Prices were high, as expected, but at least the pizzas are of reasonable size. The $32 pasta portion probably could've been a bit more generous. But anyway, on to why we're all here - The Pizza: The crust had a great crunch but I felt lacked nuance beyond that, no chew and a touch on the dry side. Cheese and sauce were fine but also unremarkable. The heaps of basil provided some bright freshness that was definitely appreciated. I feel even more compelled now to try the NYC location for comparison! This wasn't a bad pizza by any stretch but not something I would ever pick over my favorite NYC standouts.
