Very impressed and happy with my service truly professional, great customer service/experience, they tailor to you as a customer better than any other shops that I have been to, I had a special order, I asked for a very specific wiring for my lights because I wanted to add "switch back LEDs", I asked to have all of my lights replaced (headlamps, interior lighting, side mirror lighting, etc..) and I have an Cadillac Escalade so it's large car and very time consuming, and yet these guys were able to take care of everything that I had asked for in one day with very careful attention to detail! However, when MC got an HID headlight that went out, I started looking for auto shops that opened late. I found Miami HID, and saw they have late evening appointments. Carlos was helpful in setting up an evening appointment, and even calling to reschedule yesterday plenty of time to reschedule yesterday when he couldn't make it. I appreciate that courtesy! Although they don't do body work, Carlos also referred me to other repair shops where I can get this done. The only ding is that the shop can be hard to find at night, because there is poor street lighting and it is towards the back of the warehouse building. Not happy at all with Miami HID this warehouse is not a place you can call a clean establishment this is a place that has no place to sit comfortably with no air conditioning, and it is infested by mosquitos So consumers be warned my experience there was very unpleasant. Carlos who is the owner and who does the installation had done a MacGyver wire installation rig job with my headlights after I had an issue with one of the LED Strip lights. when I had the headlight checked it was discovered that he did not connect the wires professionally with a plug adapter the wires were sliced and tapped together I called him so he can repair and correct the problem I called him to ask him how much will he charge to fix the problem, and he said the same amount which was $60.00 an Hour after him testing and checking for two hours he did not fix the problem one of my LED strips did not work and one rapid turn signal light that was not working correctly so he said I had a faulty headlight so I had to purchase the same set of headlights having that said I asked him again how much will he charge me to have the new headlights replaced and he said the amount I was last charged. When I got there he told me that the adapter I got had two wires missing and for him to do the job he would need to charge me $450.00 to connect the wires back into the harness plug. I was not happy with his response then I asked him to test the headlights before he would start the installation so later there isn't any issues. I asked him why did he not test the one light before to see why the led strip light did not work and he had no answer why, so I got a bad vibe when I asked him how much would he charge me to install the headlights without the plugin harness he said $ 180.00 to just to redo the shitty Rig he did before. I told him to stop and I got the hell out of there. Also, he did not want me going near my car to see what he was doing he wanted me to stay outside and get bitten by mosquitos, and when I saw him spray himself with mosquito repellant he did not even offer me any so people best to go to a place where you can get better service, and the job done professionally. read more

Called over the phone around 3PM. Got quoted for $165 for 5000k HID kit for my Mercedes ML350. Set an appointment at 5PM. In and out around 45 minutes. Quick, painless, and easy. Staff was very friendly and I am satisfied with the outcome! HID's are bright and white. Will definitely go back for any HID needs. Most professional install yet, I did a Fog HID for my 13 Gen Coupe track, His location has air condition waiting rooms, I preferred to watch and all the question i had he answered. Iv'e seen many of my friend cars with hid and wires are everywhere ballast are mounted right next to the hot engine. He used every available crevasse to route the wires and he didn't use the 3M sticky back instead mounted them with Tie Wraps so there secure forever. He also was very prepared some wires that came with my kit where not long enough to reach the battery; But he had the exact connectors and wires which saved me a ton of hassel. He didn't even charge for that. Prices are fair i paid $45 for the install. read more

Found Carlos through Google search to install HID's in my 2014 Toyota Avalon XSP which comes with LED DRL's and fog lights, but with halogen headlights(!!?) Carlos installed them quickly and efficiently. One of the lights flickered when it came on and he said it was temporary. Unfortunately, the light eventually would not come on at all. I e-mailed Carlos over the Memorial Day weekend, and he responded right away. I got with him the following day at his installation bay, and he quickly and cheerfully fixed the problem, which turned out to be a bad bulb, nothing wrong with the install. I had just bought a 2013 Caddy in Fort Myers and wanted to add HID's. Checked with the big shop in my area Cartunes and they said I would have to purchase the lights and they would start looking at the car to see what needed to be done to install them at the rate of $80.00 an hour. Miami HID - Spyder CCFL headlights with LED's - Auto Parts & Supplies Near Me - Miami, Florida

I bought my F-150 used and the previous owner had installed HID Headlights. They went out and needed to be replaced. Finding somebody to do the work was harder than I thought. Pep Boys sent me to Best Buy, the tech at Best Buy at least checked the voltage and the ballasts were getting power, just not putting out any. I found Miami HD via an online search. Carlos, the owner works by Appointment Only out of a tattoo shop in a warehouse district near the Turnpike in south Kendall. That should have been my first Red Flag. I sent Carlos a text with a photo of the old ballast, he said he could have new ones for $65 plus $35 to install. We agreed to meet and I bought the ballasts, although Miami HID gave me NO Receipt. The new ballasts have NO Markings on them. The ones installed have input, output, resistance and other important electrical information needed. The ones Miami HD sold me came in a blank black box, no instructions, no electrical information on them at all. This should have been my second Red Flag. I bought them because I was desperate, but Carlos was leaving for a 4 days and could not install them as I asked. I have enough mechanical ability to install them on my own, so I did, but this should have been my third Red Flag. I took them home, installed them as it was simple plug ins and they failed to work. I texted Carlos, but he texted back it "could be a few things", which should have been my fourth Red Flag. Carlos told me he has "other business" so clearly Miami HID is not real important to him, why else is he working out the garage side of a tattoo parlor. This should have been a fifth Red Flag. Carlos refused to refund me the $65 I wasted on his unmarked cheap made in China ballasts, which he insists work, although he did not test them. He continued to harass me with texts about his costs and other nonsense, but in the end you need only to know this. RUN, don't walk, RUN away from this business as quickly as you can. DON'T DO BUSINESS with a guy who is running his part time business from somebody else's business. DON'T DO BUSINESS with a guy who is cash only because he had a recent credit card fraud and provides no Receipts and does not stand behind what he sells. DON'T DO BUSINESS with a company with the worst Customer Service ever. I will be contacting the County to see if Miami HID is even a registered business and see what action they can take against him if he is not. Save yourself money and aggravation and don't be a victim of Miami HID like I was. read more

Miami HID is a breath of fresh air in a world of ripoffs and dishonesty. I was traveling from NC and had a headlight and foglight go out which meant I could not drive at night. Being from out of state and desperate, Carlos could have easily taken advantage of my situation and gouged his price or done unnecessary repairs. Had a set of HID's and other LED's installed on my 2017 Hyundai about a month or so ago by Carlos. I gotta say, the lights are top notch. I asked for bright white HID's since I do a lot of night driving in rural areas, and Carlos did not disappoint. They're super bright! His workmanship is top notch and his prices are fair. This review is embarrassingly late! I absolutely loved everything about Carlos' operation. He was timely, professional , offered great customer service and even sent me a receipt. I dropped off my car to him in the morning and had it back within 2 hours. He did a beautiful job placing the ballast, very neat unlike the last place that installed my set! These HIDS are great quality , electric, non flickering. Aka a relief ! I was sick of dealing with lights that weren't reliable. . Ballast and fuses. Bleh!! The pricing was also very reasonable. Miami HID is a one man shop. The owner/operator Carlos installs after-market HID/Xenon lights on cars. He can install HIDs on cars that don't have Xenon headlights, or he can add them to the foglights to make the fogs brighter. He can also install LED lighting and a bunch of other lighting upgrades. He replaced my previous HID Foglights which had failed. What I liked 1) Reasonable pricing. $105 for HID fog lights including install and he comes to you. 2) 2 year warranty 3) Good guy - he also changed my high beam light bulbs because I didn't like the stock ones. Further in my car the fuse for the fogs had been blown, and he replaced it for free. 4) He does the work the way you ask. I asked him to do it the hard way - through the wheel well, and not to remove the bumper. And he did it the way I asked without any problems. I can't tell yet how long the kit will last, but this guy has been around and stands by his work. So far it works great and is significantly brighter than the halogen foglights. read more

I've recently had my HID and fog lights done at HID Miami for an Acura RSX type S. I am extremely satisfied with the way my car looks. Haven't had any technical issues with the installment what so ever. Very professional, gets the job done right and quick shows up on time, and is always readily available to answer any questions or concerns you have before or after the job is completed. Had a glitch with the relay before I took the car in and Carlos was able to fix it without a problem. Without charging me an arm and a leg like most other installers would do. A bulb also went out in one of my fog lights and he even offered to give me a used bulb from a previous car he worked on to save me money on a brand new bulb from the store.
