This Miami Grill was the worst. My pickup order was missing a drink, and the "supervisor" refused to get it, argued with me condescendingly, and then continued to insult me to another customer even after I complained. Avoid this location due to unprofessional and rude management. read more

What oh what happened to Miami Subs?! This restaurant has gone so far downhill in the past few years. I used to keep them in my lunch rotation but now I might try them once a year to see if anything has changed. Sadly, on this latest trip I learned it has not. My usual favorite order of the chicken pita now has incredibly low quality. The chicken is rubbery and tasted like it's been microwaved. The lettuce was hot and not fresh. The pita bread itself was OK. The only saving grace was their seasoned fries that haven't changed much thankfully. While I was sitting in the dining area eating, I was looking around at all the torn up seats with absolutely filthy tables and floors. It did not smell fresh in the restaurant either. If you're cooking in an establishment and your dining room smells like musty towels instead of delicious food, there is a big problem. read more

I have lived near this Miami Subs for almost 15 years. In the last few years it has become as good as it used to be back in the day day. The staff are friendly and the food is good. Yes you may have to wait but it's worth it. The inside is also clean and calm comfortable environment. I tear up the lamb gyro wrap and my kids enjoy the Mac n cheese bites! To be honest, I try to avoid writing these but I've given this Miami Grill location MANY chances. Besides some of the staff being rude af, this location seems to not be able to get things correct too often. On multiple occasions I've dealt with missing items, long wait times in the drive thru, and just bad service overall. I tend to order the number 12 (hotdog combo) when I need a light midnight snack. I suggest that if you do order this combo, tell them to NOT dress your hotdog because it must be too difficult for whoever is handling the food. I ask for light mayo and almost every time, i get DOUBLE mayo. Who eats double mayo on a hotdog? I have no clue. I've ordered the chicken tenders sandwich about four times through Uber eats and every single time they gave me a regular chicken sandwich which always makes me extremely sick. I am very specific with my order, I usually note it twice and I get charged for it but it's always wrong. The corporates office definitely needs to look into how this location on University & Tamarac/Lauderhill is ran as it's degrading the value of what is known as Miami Grill. For fast food Miami Subs doesn't make you feel as guilty about eating it as other places but I'm sure it's just as horrible for us. It's been years since I've had it and it was my last resort today. I use to get the chicken wing platter which was pretty good but today I stepped outside and dared to try a gyro. Pretty overstuffed with meat - some might like some might not. Tomatoes were definitely not fresh. I think they use mayo instead of tzatziki which is disappointing. This was an average gyro - not best but definitely not worst. I would come again if need be. I was disappointed Tuesday night when I stopped for a take out seafood platter with an extra side of shrimp, ordered that several times in the past and it has always been good, this time it wasn't. Been here multiple times. The experiences are usually great. It's a fast food restaurant so as long as you know what you're getting, maintain those expectations. The buffalo sand which is good and the gyros while not authentic aren't bad. Staff is friendly, I've never had an issue. read more
