When we walked in we were immediately greeted by a nice lady at the counter. She provided us with a menu and we sat wherever we wanted. She assisted us as we decided what to eat. We both went with the Cup Bop Bose with a side of dumplings My Cup Bop Base came with red spicy sauce and my friends came with the original sauce. The original was so good! Next time I won't modify the sauce. The Japchae noodles were one of the best parts of the dish! The dumplings were delicious and crispy. I can't wait to come back and try their fried chicken! The vibe is casual dining with friends, you seat yourself and they come serve you. I also enjoyed the Kpop playing on the TV

Everything was absolutely amazing!!! The ambiance was cute, they played great music my daughter loved. The service was amazing. I'm assuming the man I spoke to was the owner, he was absolutely amazing. So nice and sweet! He was very helpful when it came to ordering, setting down the food, and being nice with my toddler! The food was so good!!! We will definitely be back again!

This place is a hidden gem! Been into Korean style chicken recently and these chickens were HUGE! The golden cheese fries have just the right amount of sweetness and the service and ambiance were great as well. There was modern K-pop on the TVs and the food came out relatively quick for how complex it was. Going back again soon.

This place is located in a shopping center. As you walk in ur greeted by the host which was extremely pleasant. He explained how to order and explained portion sizes. Only bottled drinks are served. They do have beer and some native drinks. Our food was great. The chicken size is extremely large. I loved also the fried rice. Definitely recommend this place for a quick bite.

I'm not sure where to start. I thought we were going to a place called U Know Korea. When we got there, the name on the building was Kokochicken 92 Korean Food. Apparently, the owner of U Know Korea and Kokochicken swaped locations. We had eaten at U Know Korea before it moved from Hollywood. Now it's closer to home. It's all about the food and is it good!! We started with a seafood pancake. It was so good! Then we moved on to our meals. My wife had chicken bulgogi. I got to try it and I was unbelievably good. Me I have this thing for baby octopus, so I had jookumi, spicy baby octopus with vegetables. It was awesomely good. Other then the service was a bit off since we got there so late, it wasn't that bad. I'm just can't wait to eat there again.

Small mom n pop place. There are seats but we had ordered Togo order instead for their lunch menu. It comes with fries or rice, 5 pieces of wings or tenders n soda. I asked for sauce on the side n they were able to accommodate which I appreciate. We got the honey soy garlic n the spicy sauce. Both sauces are a lil too sweet for my liking but since it's separate.. we can control the amount n it helps. Fried chicken was fresh n crispy. The lunch special is pretty good for the value. It satisfied my fried chicken craving and the service was very quick

Koko Chicken 92 is located on Oakland Park Blvd in the plaza that is across the street from the Aldi's and Walgreens in Sunrise. It is a hole in the wall Korean Chicken restaurant that serves its specialty Korean Fried Chicken as well as traditional Korean meals. I came here last Monday night to have dinner with my dad. To say the least we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The tables and chairs are clean and the staff is very welcoming. I loved how the chairs are bright yellow and make you want to sit down and stay for a while. We ordered the "Kook Soon Dang" Rice Sake, Honey Garlic Chicken Tenders and Jochae stir fried potato noodles with beef. The food came out fast, hot and fresh. We also had a side of cut up radishes and fresh kimchi. One thing I will say about Koko Chicken 92 is that it is a great place if you are looking for a place that allows for you to eat great food and have a good time with the people you are with. You don't feel rushed to hurry up and eat. You are able to sit down and be in the moment. I can't wait to come back again to see what other delicious food they have to offer.

I was very excited to try this restaurant. I ordered takeout. The food was ready in 20 mins like I was informed in the app, which was great! When I arrived the restaurant was empty and that's never a good sign however this place is set-up more like a takeout restaurant so I think that explains the lack of diners. The gentleman behind the counter was very nice, made sure I had a menu, and a coupon Now for the food.... I ordered the soy garlic tenders (8-piece). The quantity and the quality of the chicken was great however the soy garlic sauce left you missing Bonchon (if you've had it). Bonchon is a chain but it's soy garlic sauce is delicious. I also ordered the japchea. The ingredients were on point but the sauce was not right. I recommend this restaurant owner to add more fresh garlic to both of these dishes. Above all the quality and the quantity of the dishes I ate were above par however the sauces failed to hit the mark.

Koko Chicken 92 is a mom-and-pop shop. I tried their Korean fried chicken, and while it was decent overall, I found it to be pretty average compared to other spots I've tried. One thing I wish they'd do is make their sauces in-house instead of using premade, imported ones--it would really take their chicken to the next level. That said, the food was still enjoyable, and the cozy atmosphere make it worth a visit. If you're in the mood for Korean fried chicken, I'd definitely recommend giving this place a try! With a little extra care to elevate the flavors, it could easily become a go-to spot.

My go to KFried Chicken place since they opened. Great place, awesome customer service and very fresh food. Homemade kimchi and more exciting menu items to come. Definitely try the Cheong Yang chicken and the Snow Onion. we've been back almost every week since they opened and we won't stop lol. Much closer than Choongman and gives them great competition! keep in mind they just opened so a lot of menu items are not available yet. The chicken is good enough for now and the ice cold glasses for Somaek. Tell him I sent you if you check them out, you won't be disappointed.

Literally a hidden gem. It's run by this cute group of ladies and man, who take the time to talk to you and make sure you have everything. Great service, with a smile, and chat. We love their fried chicken and love visiting, we've ordered from there like 3 times at least.

The pork dumplings were very good. Golden and crispy. The chicken wings were plump... crispy and juicy. Good food, friendly service.

Everyone enjoyed the seafood pancakes, Hemul Panjun. The black bean noodles, Jajanmyun, got mixed reviews from our party of six. Personally, I liked them but didn't love them. It was my first time trying this dish. The noodles themselves I enjoyed a lot -- kinda slippery, nice chew. The black bean sauce was very umami and I could easily see this being a comfort food to some. The stars here were really the grilled meats, and this place is unique in that they have charcoal grills. We ordered two of the marinated Kalbi, short ribs, because everyone loved it so much. The marinated chicken was good but would probably skip it next time for more Kalbi. The bulgogi was delicious and would definitely get that again. All of the bonchon, little side dishes, were great too! As far as the vibe, I'd say it's pretty casual and family-friendly. The only thing I find a little scary is when they bring out the hot charcoals to the table. That thing is hot and heavy and has to be brought to the table with extreme care. Sorry no pics! Was carried away eating!

Because it was my birthday, we opted for the premium menu. Honestly, we tried a variety of meats and although they were all good, when we go back, I'd probably just order the galbi. We did come back months later and this time, for my husband's birthday lunch after we played golf. His brother and dad were also with us and we tried their AYCE Korean fried chicken. AYCE for $15.99, but the catch is you have to order a drink. So, basically, more like $20. Chicken was good and we tried different flavors: soy garlic, spicy, cheese, honey (powder), and plain. The honey was my favorite, but to each their own! We tried to eat as much as we could to get our money's worth, but in the end--in my opinion--it's worth just getting it as an order, which is practically the same price and no requirement to order a drink. Overall, I would go back for kbbq... we have a good amount of kbbq spots in the county and of all the ones we've gone to, Hallyu is part of my top 3. Best tip we can give you: order the honey fries!

Firstly, this is a joint restaurant with Pho Tien. They offer both Korean and Vietnamese cuisines. As of September of 2025, the whole plaza is under construction but the business is open! It looks a little odd but just trust the process. As I mentioned they offer two cuisines so the variety of food options is great! Whats even better is the taste. I tried a simplistic dish, the jajangmyeon ramen and added the cheese and egg, and it hit. Everything you hope for in a comfort dish (and for a price that almost feels like a steal). I also got to try some of their Korean beef and it has that flavor that just makes you want more and more. I'll be back to try that dish in its entirety. Now about the service.. it was good but there were some tiny flaws. They seem family owned so expect a couple language barriers but that's never an issue in my opinion. There just wasn't anyone that came to refill our waters and we waited a little bit for someone to swing by so we could get our check. Korean Bistro, I'll be back and I hope to be able to give this place the 5 star rating it can easily earn.

The barometer for us indicating that this might be a legit decent Korean restaurant was the amount of Asian diners in the restaurant and there were an overwhelming majority of them at the time we went in. So we knew it was going to be a good meal. We got our drink orders in and for entrees went with the Army Stew (Budae Jigae), bulgogi, and the Seafood tofu soup. The army stew was considered 2 portions- it was huge but my friend was able to finish it himself. He said it was delicious and lived up to his expectations after having had the army stew in Seoul and have been looking for a place that offered back home. Though not quite as good as in Seoul but very decent for SoFlo. Next up was the seafood tofu soup. The flavor was on point- soft tofu that melts in your mouth along with clams, squid, shrimp and an egg topper. I will say, they were rather skimpy on the shrimp (only 1 in the pot) and a couple clams and squid but it was delicious nonetheless. The bulgogi was seasoned well and they included a number of banchan which all tasted fresh. I asked for lettuce to wrap my bulgogi with as that's common in South Korea but here it is a $4 upcharge for lettuce. The food did hit the spot so we were all satisfied with the quality of the food and will likely return.
