I had a great experience at Master Ba's Hot Pot and BBQ. The wait staff did try their best to explain the whole concept. The concept here is, for the Hot Pot, pick out a broth and any items for the hot pot. The options are unlimited and includes veggies, noodles and meats. There is a stove at every table and also a bbq pit for the BBQ. Everyone at the table must choice either the HotPot or HotPot and BBQ. For the BBQ, pick out any of the meats which is cooked in the bbq at the table. Those options are also unlimited. There is a buffet table of sauces and other stuff. 3 flavors of ice cream for dessert, vanilla, strawberry and chocolate cups. This being our first time here, my friends and I went crazy ordering too many options. A lot of it was wasted because we were so full. My advice is to order one or two items at a time. You can always order more if needed. The tables are not that big so we found it challenging to put all the options we ordered. In the end, with full a stomach, I had a great time and would come here again.

Stopped by for a late lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the food. We went around 3pm on a weekday and it was just us and another couple in the restaurant. The server was attentive and we also had the robot bring over some food items as well. We chose to do the bbq but you can choose hot pot, bbq, or combo of the two. It is all you can eat and the restaurant was very clean. We chose the pork belly and as you can see in the photos they give you a good amount. We also had the strip, shrimp, and the short rib for our meat options. You can also choose a variety of appetizers such as crab rangoons, spring rolls, etc. Would return!

I had an amazing time enjoying both the Korean BBQ and hot pot! The meats--chicken, steak, and pork belly--were all incredibly flavorful and perfectly seasoned! Every bite was juicy and tender, and the staff made sure the grill stayed hot and ready. The hot pot was just as impressive, with rich, savory broth and a great selection of fresh ingredients. Everything was high quality and well-prepped, and the flavors were spot on. A delicious and fun dining experience from start to finish. I highly recommend! The staff were great and attentive! A robot brings your food out to your table YES a robot, the best part is it sings Taylor swift or Michael Jackson lol. As for the appetizers which were all included, some I tried include: calamari, krab Rangoon, scallion pancake. All were very delicious and fresh! I can't wait to come back with friends, they had seating for large groups too!

FAVORITE HOT POT & BBQ IN SOUTH FLORIDA!!! From the customer service which was delightful and you get robots help deliver your food super quick haha to the quality of the meats are very good. Great for friends, family, or a celebration of any sort. The menu is simple and is the same price everyday. $31.99 BBQ or Hot Pot $36.99 for both options (Both have different menus) (Please see photos for reference) Your choice of any selected meats and veggies and you can serve yourself from the sauce bar all your saucy favs. You also get a dessert which is vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry ice cream as a sweet treat. Drinks are not included in the price. Parking is easy and enough space for everyone. This is located right next to Sawgrass Mills Mall. The selected items can also be order at the table from your phone and the sever is aware immediately. They have a very organized system. Clean & Professional environment. Highly recommend to anyone in the area! ^.^

Great sauce bar, clean interiors and quick service. Robot server was a fun touch too. Lamb, veggies and chicken options were great, however the marinades felt similar across, and the galbi meat was chewy.

My brother wanted to try some hot pot for his birthday so when I found Master ba's offers both hot pot and bbq, I knew it was worth giving it a try. One person in our party was not interested in joining the bbq, and the server was able to adjust it. Service was super friendly, making sure drunks were filled and if we needed to adjust temperatures on our dishes. It's order what you like- and the menu does say how many pieces of food come per order. Make sure not yo eat with your eyes because it's more food than you think. On a paper menu, you will put the quantity amount per item- meats, veggies, seafood, and precooked items as well. A very cute robot server will come and drop off everything- ready for you to cook. Note with hot pot, you can make your dipping sauce at a station nearby. We loved the experience, and if any sauces or utensils were in low stock by the dipping station, the servers were more than happy to accommodate us. they also have a cute ice cream station as well for dessert. again, I say to be cautious about how much food you do order because it will be a lot of food- especially if you're doing both options. The restaurant did state that there is a surcharge if you leave/over order too much food and do not eat it all. you have the option to order more as you go so simply do a few dishes to start and order more as you continue your meal. The atmosphere is very cute with fun fish decorated throughout- they do also have a full bar and TV. thank you for a fun experience for my brothers birthday.

Brought my mom to have hot pot for the first time & she loved it! We ordered a ton of fried appetizers, I got the spicy soup & she got the original chicken soup. Lots of veggies, noodles, meats and ice cream! Master Ba's never disappoints!

Very good hot pot place, but we will not be returning for the KBBQ. They use some sort of sheet for the grill which we were not comfortable cooking on. We have never seen this ever! The waitress was understanding and let us cook on the grill, but the staff in the kitchen were not happy. It just seemed to us that they didn't want to clean the grills... Lastly, the overall quality of meat was not good on the KBBQ menu. The hot pot menu was delicious and so was the sauce bar!

Enjoy the best of both worlds at Master Ba's Hot Pot & Korean BBQ located steps away from the Sawgrass Mall. Our party of 3 arrived at 5:30pm and were seated right away. They have a selection of wines, bottled beers, canned sodas & bottled teas. Ordering is done through an order form at your table where you select your appetizers, meats, veggies, & toppings. We did the Hot Pot & KBBQ for $35/person. The spicy broth & bone broth (pork) were very good. It's a small size compared to other strictly hot pot restaurants. The grill for kbbq is in the middle of the table with a non stick mat placed on top. We tried the NY Strip & beef belly. The NY strip was marinated & delicious. We were all happy with our hot pot. The little robot server was a bonus experience too. Overall our experience was great. I'm knocking off 2 stars because the sauce bar utensils and bowls cleanliness were questionable.

Excellent food! Quick to bring it via this little robot. Kids loved it! We got both hot pot and bbq option.

Who doesn't love Korean bbq and hotpot?! We came in on a Saturday night for dinner and there was no wait time. We were taken straight to our table and our server was great. We did the hotpot and bbq combo for $35 pp. For the bbq options everything we ordered was very well seasoned and the short rib was our favorite. The hot pot broth was also very flavorful. I jammed packed it with seafood and it was delicious. Overall I wish they will let you take whatever is already cooked, but they don't allow that. If you eat a lot this might be good for you otherwise is kinds of a waste of money.

I love how conveniently Master Ba's is closed to sawgrass but I can't say I enjoyed it much this time around. I can say that the hot pot broth taste better than last time but the meats for the hot pot did not taste fresh and really funky. The bbq was the same with only the short rib doing justice. I can say, they have decreased portions of what you order from the first time I went, but can be inconvenience if you want a lot of something else. The menu is dim sum style and you check what you want but I would write a quantity even though I'm not sure how that would make sense for the veggies. Maybe they give you more than one bowl of it. Anyway...service was good, but the food was mediocre. The plus side is the prices have not change since I went a year ago. 28.99 for one option, 35 for both

The love and light…read morethat lives in Chef Juliette truly trickles down through her staff and shows up in every detail of the service. No matter when I visit, it's always a warm, hospitable experience--honestly reminiscent of The Ritz-Carlton. Surrounding businesses could learn a great deal from them. I first met Chef Juliette during a visit from DC in September 2025. My best friend introduced us, and immediately I felt the love of a mother and the passion of a seasoned chef who genuinely loves what she does. And that passion? It translates directly through the food. A few weeks ago, I was back in town visiting again, and the energy was exactly the same. We stopped by to pick up a catering order for an event, and Chef Juliette sent us off with pork chop sandwiches so big--and so good--I barely touched the catering food that day (thank goodness for to-go boxes and a freezer). I was able to bring back BBQ chicken, ribs, and the "Turn It Up Rice"--which is out of this world. Perfectly cooked rice layered with crisp vegetables, shrimp, chicken, and brisket... smoky, flavorful, and such a creative spin on fried rice. Then, the day after, Chef invited us back for a VIP experience--and when I say the love is real, y'all... it's real! She prepared a savory seafood étouffée enriched with shrimp and lobster, served over creamy polenta--an elevated take on traditional shrimp and grits. Paired with fresh-baked buttermilk biscuits, sausage from her brother in Georgia, and perfectly crispy bacon... everything was divine. The kind of meal that evokes emotion--the kind that makes you feel genuinely cared for. The restaurant itself feels cozy and welcoming--rich with history and personality. Every time I visit, I discover a new layer of her story which is told along the walls and decor. Chef Juliette is truly something special. If you're ever in the Pompano or Fort Lauderdale area, do yourself a favor and visit Lickie Stickie! And don't leave without trying the baked beans and black-eyed peas--Chef puts okra in them, and I don't want them any other way ever again. Outstanding.

Apparently, reflection of the challenging economic times we're experiencing. Very disappointed in the quantity and price of the Catfish daily special. For $15, I was shocked when I opened the very light, styrofoam takeout container and found a single, medium size filet. Really?! The portion of the sides were ample. The macaroni and cheese was cheesy delicious. The rice and peas were bland. I enjoyed the corn bread bombs. One of my dinner guests (1st timer) wasn't so sure about them. Customer service was the usual welcoming, friendly, prompt service that makes a customer feel like family. Along with complimentary samples of the daily soups and lemonade. All the tables had neatly arranged place settings with menus. The peeling floor needs repair. The verdict is also out on the drinks being served in the plastic containers. It would seem regular beverage cups are less expensive and easier to use. The soup samples were tasty and piping hot. One was supposedly seafood soup, but I only got chicken in both samples.

Because it was my birthday, we opted for the premium menu. Honestly, we tried a variety of meats and although they were all good, when we go back, I'd probably just order the galbi. We did come back months later and this time, for my husband's birthday lunch after we played golf. His brother and dad were also with us and we tried their AYCE Korean fried chicken. AYCE for $15.99, but the catch is you have to order a drink. So, basically, more like $20. Chicken was good and we tried different flavors: soy garlic, spicy, cheese, honey (powder), and plain. The honey was my favorite, but to each their own! We tried to eat as much as we could to get our money's worth, but in the end--in my opinion--it's worth just getting it as an order, which is practically the same price and no requirement to order a drink. Overall, I would go back for kbbq... we have a good amount of kbbq spots in the county and of all the ones we've gone to, Hallyu is part of my top 3. Best tip we can give you: order the honey fries!
