This is a great store. The Oriental Mart is very clean and staff is always kind. They have a great selection and are typically very well stocked. I had an issue with a particular ice cream I had been looking for for a few months unfortunately. The employees would tell me it would be in stock next week on blah blah day and to call to check so I did. That went on for about two months. Finally they said they don't sell it anymore. So I stopped coming. Today I was driving by and decided to stop in and what do ya know!! The ice cream is fully stocked. Lol. Go figure. I'm happy to see it back. The store is now back in my regular rotation for one of my fav treats. read more

I haven't been here in a while and noticed that they made a little seating area at the front of the store where they used to keep their bags of rice. I didn't really look around because we were only there for a specific item. I'm not sure if they are going to have a little cafe or if it's just an area where you can eat the prepared foods that you've purchased. This is such a clean store and brightly lit. An added plus is that there's no "smell" when you walk in. If you haven't been here before, or haven't been here in a long time, you should check it out. read more

I visit this store once every couple months to stock up on all my oriental items. They always have everything I need, and then some! Prices here are a lot more reasonable than some other Asian marts I've visited in the surrounding area. They have a wide selection of sauces, spices, ramen, snacks and candies and so much more! I ways walk away with a few bags of stuff that holds me up for few months. Also! I always look forward for the free little yogurt drink they toss in your bag while you pay at the register, it's just a simple yet friendly gesture to they for their customers. I literally only come in here to buy sweet chili sauce. Its a huge bottle for like $4.50. It taste great. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Store is pretty quiet. We enjoy browsing stores that have international products. Oriental mart was perfect for us. We walked through every aisle and saw many exciting items. Oriental market is clean and organized. Aside from food products, they also sell items such as slippers and chopsticks. It reminded me of going to Chinatown in New York City as a child. We purchased a fun ice cream treat. Recently came here because I was in the mood to visit a new market and the Asian market I used to visit a lot is very far since I've moved. Parking was very easy to find here and the place is very nice inside. Every aisle is labeled and the amount of products in each aisle is crazy! I never knew how many different products could be on a shelf in a place. They have many different things from produce to frozen foods and snacks and candy. The amount of interesting candy is awesome and I walked out of there with a nice amount of products to try! The staff is good, however they definitely keep to themselves, don't expect Publix style but honestly I prefer being able to shop without being asked if I need help in every row of food I'm in. I was heading to NY Mart to look for specific items not available at my local Asian Market. Of course NY Mart was temporarily closed due to computer issues. So I had to find something close. That's how I found Oriental Mart. A bit further out from where I live but the store is pretty spacious and super clean and organized. Like really ORGANIZED!!! This always makes me happy when I find a good Asian Market. Oriental Mart has a few different things I don't normally see at my regular spots. But I also noticed their produce section was smaller too. Don't get me wrong, it was a nice selection but less options. That won't keep me astray. I like this place and will travel here as needed. I was looking for something specific and showed a photo to an employee stocking the shelves. He knew exactly where the product was and luckily they had it in stock. Mission completed. This is the most well stocked oriental market in South Florida. Focused primarily on Korean goods, you can find Japanese products as well. They have many of the things you'd find in an H-Mart minus the fresh meat and fish. Service is polite and friendly. The facility is very clean and easy to navigate. My go to asian grocery store. I come about once a week. It has mostly Korean food there. But I've found select Filipino and Japanese as well. They have a small produce section, large kimchi section-kinda on the pricey side, frozen meat for Korean BBQ or hot pot- high quality and pricey, and bakery section- some from Korea and some from ppang bakery next door. They also sell ready to eat food, japchae, paejeon, seaweed soup, seafood soup, beef stew, tender pork hock, rolls, chicken wings. All change throughout the week. The weekends I've found the pork hock, beef stew and chicken wings. One time I saw jajangmyeun. It was kinda grainy though. I bought the dried noodles to go with it. I haven't seen the sauce since. They also have a small section for skincare. One time they had sunblock. I wish they sold more. They also started coming out with more kitchen appliances and kitchen accessories which is nice. Hopefully more people will shop there and they can lower their prices. read more

This is one of my go to markets for all things Asian. You want Asian produce? Asian frozen dumplings? Asian snacks? Teas? Asian desserts? Asian plateware? Any type of Asian middle? Any type of rice? Then come here! They have such a vast assortment of items that you are bound to find what you need. The prices are more than reasonable. All of this stuff was about$30. I constantly find NW items to try. I usually will get some produce but I didn't need any this time around. Last time I got Asian pears that were to die for. This market also doesn't have the very distinct odor that a lot of the markets do so that is a major bonus. Love this Asian Market. Its too far from where I am but I am willing to make this drive when I need to! Everything is organized, shelves are full and the associates are very helpful. My most recent purchase were: -Nori -Furikake (3 different kinds) -Kewpie Mayo (so hard to find in SoFlo) -Gochujang (paste and powder) -Noods (rice and egg noods) -Eel Sauce I have been making different dishes and I seem to find the ingredients I need in here! Ok it doesn't measure up to H Mart or Asian grocery stores in other cities, where they have food court and huge selection, but in S Florida this is definitely one of the better Asian markets. It's large and spacious, and while it has been around for a long time, is relatively well kept. While Oriental Mart has a branch in Miami, I enjoy visiting here when I venture up north, because it carries a lot of stuff that I can't find in the smaller branch down south, like the selection of ice creams and ban chan - all the ones you've seen at Korean restaurants and more. There are several Korean restaurants in the area too. Pretty good for a half day trip to Korean. : ) read more

They are one of the very few good Oriental stores in South Florida. The only thing I don't like with them is that their prepared food prices have been increasing a lot. Really great market to pick up everything Asian. Desserts, seasonings, frozen dumplings and pancakes, sliced meats for Hot Pot or KBBQ, chips and snacks and a great selection for ramen. Along the back wall you'll find the drinks and a few packages pastries and snacks and to the far right is the produce and Kimchi. And to the front you can buy plates, dishes, serve ware, hot pot pans, etc. it's a one stop shop for all your Asian needs and wants :) they do not have any fresh meat or seafood fyi. read more

If you're up in the Ft. Lauderdale area and in need of a authentic Korean supermarket, this place is it. They're located on University, just half mile south of Commercial Blvd and this place is huge and specializing mostly in Korean products only. Prices seem fair, maybe a little higher than the other Asian supermarkets that also carry Korean products, depending on what item we're talking about. For some of the ramen choices, they were higher by at least 10% compared to Beijing Market in North Miami off 167th street. Love Kimchi so I bought a huge container and ate a whole bunch on an empty stomach...and that my friends is one way to clean out your entire system. I don't think anything was wrong with it, just that I had so much of it at one time and my body wasn't too happy about that. read more

Finally found an Asian/Oriental Market with lots of Korean products. This place has a bunch of Korean products compared to any Asian/Oriental market in WPB area. They have lots of Korean ice creams, snacks, noodles, soju, breads, and more! They also have pre-packaged Bulgogis and Kimchis. I wish they have more selections of different soju. This is a big, clean, and organized Asian/Oriental Market. I'll definitely stop by here again if my family and I crave for some Korean snacks. read more

Everytime i visit this market, i lose track of time. It's so big inside filled with so many things to see and buy. It's very clean and organized. I love the utensil and dishes section. Im such a weirdo that literally ohhhs and ahhss at every cute plate, cup, spoon...u name it lol. They have a good variety of pots, pans, huge basins and bowls that are a staple in our home, so it's nice to find them all here. The veggie section is a decentish size, not big but carries most essentials. Everything is packaged and placed neatly. Moving on to the aisles, they're so many variety of instant ramen, snacks, noodles, sake, rice, nori, sauces & seasonings, etc. The frozen section is my other favorite to ohh and ahh over. So many dumplings and buns with different fillings and sizes. Fresh noodles and ready to cook soups, fish, shrimp and so much more. They have a Huge variety of frozen sweets like mochi ice cream, cakes and pastries . Speaking of pastries, they carry some of my favorite pastries from Tree Story bakery that i have to stock up on on every visit. It's located in the back in the fridge display. I stumbled upon this Oriental Market when I was looking for a nearby Asian market after leaving Tate's comics store. It was literally just down the block, they were so close to each other. When I turned into the plaza, there was plenty of parking spaces (on a Saturday night). The market sign was the same kind of sign from the Oriental Market down south at US1 and SW 152nd St, then I realized they were the same markets. However, this market is actually much bigger than the one down south. There's many more selections of food, seafood, drinks, supplies, kitchen stuff, medicine, etc. Everything was organized and clean in my opinion. The staff was friendly and nice. The prices are fair--cheaper than Food Town market I think. There's stuff from different countries such as Taiwan, China, Korea, Japan, Thailand, the U.S., and more. I ended up just getting cooked dried shredded pork, snacks, and Pocky sticks (they were buy one get one free) because I live down south, cold food wouldn't last during the 1 hour+ drive. And as usual, the staff gave customers free little cold yogurt drinks. read more

I've been coming here per the recommendations of many Korean people in my life. As a non-asian, it can sometimes be intimidating to go to a grocery store full of unfamiliar products and smells... But this place is much better than any other Asian market i've been to down here. It's predominantly Korean products- homemade kimchi, kimbap, and other delicacies... I go to stock up on my favorite restaurant sauces, and for a more authentic taste to my home cooking! I also by the big kimchi sauce bottle, because who doesn't love the best kimchi sauce brand in a bulk-sized bottle!? The people that work here are friendly, and will help you when you ask about something! Also, there is never that crazy, dead-fish-up-your-nose smell that's found in a lot of Asian (Chinese mostly) markets!
