One of my favorite all you can eat hotpot! They have a variety of items including from veggies, meats, seafood, and noodles. This buffet is family style- so one big pot that offers two type of broth. We usually get a mild mala and the regular bone broth. Be careful, spicy really is spicy here! All of the veggies, meats, skewered items and drinks are stocked in refrigerators that you just go to grab. Some of their raw meats/ items are on skewer which makes it easier to cook. Aside from hotpot, they also offer BBQ items that are a la carte. The grilled eggplant is a must order!! They also have authentic desserts -( not your typical buffet restaurant pastries and cakes) they have grass jelly, fresh seasonal fruits, egg tarts, and other items as well. Came back again to get more of their delicious skewers and I feel like this was a more accurate depiction of service. It was way more busy than the first time we came since it was a Friday night. We were seated quickly and were immediately told that if we wanted to order skewers, it was going to be a 30 min wait since they only had one person on the grill. We had time to kill so we said we would wait but we ended up waiting 45 min for the skewers and noodles after waiting 10 min to flag down someone to order. We ordered the same skewers as the time before, but they tasted different (not bad, just different). After we were done eating, there was no one on the floor so I waited at the register to try to get the bill. There were at least 4 other people including food delivery personnel waiting to pick up their orders and it was another 20 min before someone finally came out to help us. The employees were very obviously flustered and quite rude when dealing with all the customers. They also added an additional 20% gratuity on our 2 dish order for 2 people and asked if we wanted to tip on top of that without telling us about the gratuity (I only caught it because the total of the dishes weren't adding up to the total on the receipt). We spent almost 2 hours there and it was mostly time just waiting. It was disappointing since the food is good I just wish the service would match! read more

Consistent selection of all you can eat AYCE fresh meat, seafood & vegi options to be cooked by yourself in a wide variety of selection of soup bases for the Hot Pot. As well as a-la-carte grilled stuff. They also open till pretty late. You'll get your own table, sometimes there are kids around which may discourage some diners and sometimes there are customers who are greedy and will grab everything that is available for a single item but you can always ask the owners to add more if things you like is gone. read more

From the outside, I didn't know what to expect, but once inside, I quickly had a feeling it was going to be a great experience... and I was right. I absolutely LOVE the cheesy Asian karaoke going on on the inside. It made for a joyful, fun atmosphere, even if I had no clue what the lyrics meant. Lol. Their mild spicy soup base was the perfect flavor for consistent enjoyment. The chicken stock was a bit lacking in flavor, but there are plenty of dipping sauces to make up for it. There was a good selection of meat and veggies and most things seemed to be fresh. The only exception that day was crab and crawfish, which didin't bother me too much since they're not my typical goto hot pot items. There was a section where food was laid out in plates, and another section where food was skewered. Website stated $28++ but when we went up to the counter to pay, the server/cashier didnt provide any invoices, and simply told us it was $35 each. Not knowing what that $35 comprised, all of us paid an additional 20% tip which adds up to about $42 per person. Fantastic hot pot option in South Florida. They opened ~3-4 months ago but haven't done any marketing yet. First of all, just want to clarify. This is a hot pot buffet that also happens to sell some BBQ items on the menu. I think the name Miami Hot BBQ might be a bit confusing at first to people who may not know what hot pot is. Secondly, it's a little hard to find at first. Plug in the address into your GPS and then look for a restaurant that says "Mr. Mei Fine Cuisine" on top. "Miami Hot BBQ" is written in small font on the door. For those who love hot pot or are interested in exploring, this is a great place to try. The hot pot buffet is $28/person. Broths include chicken, tomato, and spicy versions of the 2. You go up to the fridges to pick your ingredients. Meat options (e.g., beef, tripe, fish) are brought to your table by the servers. You can request more of certain meats from the servers and they'll bring it out to you. The food was delicious. Great service and very clean facility. There is a sink on the side of the fridge in case you want to quickly wash your hands without going all the way to the bathroom in the back. One distinguishing factor of this restaurant is that you have one large pot at the table. Most of the hot pot places in South Florida I've seen give you your own personalized pot. For germaphobes who are going out with friends but don't want to share the same broth with others, perhaps you can ask for a split broth(?) so you can cook your items separately within the same pot? Another factoid: this restaurant starts having karaoke later in the evening (10pm?). They have karaoke song videos playing throughout the restaurant even during non-karaoke hours. This eatery could have been amazing. The mala soup was pretty good. The variety of hot pot ingredients were sparse and only had a lot of processed ingredients. They advertised that they had lamb but when we asked they only had beef. The waiter was terrible, He told us to go get out own beer. We had to ask for everything, he did not even come back to see how we were doing and only add on to our soup at the end of our dinner. On top of it, he coughed on my bf as he was pouring the soup into our hot pot??! He was also not wearing a mask.... So we will definitely not go back there.
