I went to this bar one Saturday summer evening. I was initially really interested in the concept. Once I got there, I was underwhelmed. It was extremely slow for a Sat night. I don't know if I was there too early or if the bar is suffering due to COVID. The music was good. The DJ was doing the damn thing. The drinks... smh. The bartender seemed not to know what she was doing. They also didn't have a majority of the ingredients needed to make basic cocktails. I literally drank one drink and my friend and I bounced. I'm leaving 3 stars based off of past visits to this bar, not the most recent one. Showed up here with a handful of friends to be blatantly ignored by the bartender who was too occupied with her boyfriend/husband to pay attention to us. Did not catch her name since she never came up to us so all i can do is describe her: very pretty, somewhat tall, black and purple hair, gothic makeup and style. I am so annoyed by the visit that I not only messaged the bar on another social media site but I also made this account to post here. Customer service is paramount in this industry and it did not exist. The bar was EMPTY which I can only guess is due to inferior customer service. We will not be visiting again any time soon. read more

The tall staff member w the long hair bussing tables carrying the bucket of syringe shots is the true unsung hero there. He is eccentric and chirpy and super polite and playful with the crowd and you do not see that alot at clubs and bars. He had more good energy and vibes than the bartenders did and it made him stand out enough to come on here and give the guy a good review . If you go here you should tip your bussers for cleaning up your empty glasses and keeping things clean imo. Although we got lukewarm beer that night the staff are a good reason to keep coming back they take care of their people and I appreciate that. Came here on a random Saturday around 10pm my fiends and I wanted to dance. There were 2 people at the bar and three on the dance floor. The DJ played awesome music, but because it was so empty we ended up leaving, and by that time we were the only ones left in there. Gave it a second try a couple weekends later for a friend's birthday and we brought a group of 15. There was an event that night and one of the managers was trying to charge us $20/person. We decided to leave and another manager tried to get us in for free, but they ended up arguing with each other about it and we left. This bar is in a strip mall and doesn't look like much from the outside. The interior is RED and dark, which is nice and helps to have that sexy vibe that some dive bars can pull off. The restrooms are also relatively clean for a dive bar. The reasons this location only gets 4 stars from me is because there wasnt much that separated it from any other bar that you could go to. This bar won't give it's patrons a cup of water... You can pay a 5 dollar cover charge, buy drinks all night, and then when you need a water at the end of it all, it'll be 4 dollars for a bottle water. This place is trashy and a rip off. read more

Chose this location as a date night with wife based on location near Downtown Fullerton. Uber there and our first impression was not what we expected. Small spot hidden on a side industrial street. Walked in at around 9:30, got out ids checked and sat at the bar. First impressions off the intertwine was not inviting. Few people and red everywhere. Ask bartender for menu and she said none was available. So she asked what we felt like drinking, our first two choices were a no go, so we settled for a margarita and Cadillac. Wife liked margarita but my Cadillac was also a margarita. They don't have draft beers so we had to look at the display bottles on counter to see if our choice was available, luckily XX was available, so we ordered 2. The lime was old and dry so I tossed behind the bar, hoping not to get caught. As the night progressed, wife and I noticed that we were over dressed, my wife with her high heels and me with my collar shirt, everyone else seemed to coordinate with flannel shirts and plain t-shirts. As patrons arrived, we noticed a trend. It was Emo night. DJ played 2 good songs that brought people to the dance floor but rear of the night was punk music. DJ was in his own world, pretending to work by turning knobs on his table. Not a good date night spot because of loud punk music, wife and I had to speak in each others ears to communicate. I don't know but I though a spot with the name Mi Vida Loca would play more Chicano or old school music not loud punk rock. Would I come back??? No. Would I recommend this spot??? No!! read more

If I could give this bar no stars I would. By far one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Some people who seemed to be extremely familiar with the security ended up jumping my friend. Since the security knew them they did nothing to stop it. If you like the possibility of getting jumped or possibly shot then this is the place for you but if you don't i would recommend any other bar. Bar- The drinks showing on the pictures like el cucuy, etc are not being made or atleast when I asked the bartender he said they don't make them. He was dry and but he did serve a strong drink. The girl bartender I ordered later with was friendly but her drinks were weak. She didn't measure it and it wasn't a "three second pour". Location- Discreet. Go in through back entrance and they created a patio area in the back and by the time I left there was a food truck. Now that I found awesome! Indoor- it has a vibe to it, dark, dimmed, decorated with darkness in mind, it's hard to tell because it is dark but once you order your drinks you can see the attention to details. They also have siting area: around the wall, in the back which almost looks like a bottle service area with a step up and excluded, then when you walk in to the left they have a sitting area with a couple of tables, also cute and not near the dance floor. Dance floor- dance floor area is decent , not too small but big enough people can dance. And that's what I liked about this place, I was able to dance. The music was okay, they played mostly rock, a variation of rock and pop but mostly rock. The vibe and the people are in the rock theme. So as soon as I saw that when I came in I knew there wasn't going to be much of anything else. My friend wanted to leave but I convinced him to stay and a couple right before us, walked in took a look and left. So when I went it, it made sense. If you are into the top 40, hip hop vibe, ratchet vibe, twerking vibe lol this place is NOT for you. You won't see any of that here. It's an older crowd, rockers, not really a downtown Fullerton vibe. But if you know how to have a good time , you will. Everyone was cool, mind their business and everyone was just there chillin, dancing and there for a good time so that's always a vibe. The bouncer here is the best Ive met by far. All of the staff here are friendly people. I highly recommend the vampira cocktail (ask the bartender why he named it that).
