We went right back and requested that they add a second coat to fix it and we were met with chronic gaslighting telling us the nails were fine and correct. After already paying $85 plus tip for nails that look like the tips were drawn by a sharpie, I was not willing to pay any more. We left furious and won't be back.

I'm happy to say that my bad luck streak is over. Stupidly, I never thought to try the salon that's almost literally behind my house because 1. that would make too much sense, and 2. nothing good is ever close to my house so why should this place be any different? I walked in on a Tuesday afternoon and the place was empty. One thing I noticed right off was that it smelled amazing. The woman who did my nails was friendly, quick, and gentle. When she was finished, my nails looked perfect. This was three weeks ago. I actually want my nails to fall off or come loose enough for me to pry them off at this point, but they're still on as solid as ever. I imagine this is a good thing for most women. The cost was average, I was extremely happy with the service, and I don't think I'll be trying another nail salon any time soon.

At that moment, the tech turned off the lamp and told me she had an appointment. The owner said I could go to their sister store near by. I felt pretty insulted, I was physically in the chair and getting my nails filed and they just stopped & shooed me out for an "appointment" (didn't sound like an appt, it sounds like she had called and was entitled to get in). Why did they not ask the other lady to go to the sister store, rather than me rather than me who already had services started? My money is green & I always tip well too. They didn't put a plastic wrap in the tub with water, didn't sprinkle soap powder, this particular technician used one hot wet towel for legs not two, like before - one towel for each leg. They charge a little extra for non-cash payments without giving a notice to a customer, and I noticed another little thing which I don't want to say about. Did it affect the quality of my pedicure- no, but I was not happy that the employees had to save pennies in this economy going downhill.

She spent hours carefully trimming, repairing, and treating my nails, including removing the ingrown toenails. I was very happy with her work. The salon became increasingly unkempt, technicians were frequently absent or unavailable, and, most frustratingly, my appointment requests repeatedly went unanswered. Whatever the reason for the decline, the service and communication have become extremely disappointing. I would not return and do not recommend this salon.
