I agree the salon in general is not the "let me get you water, how are you doing" type of place, but if you ask for anything they'll do it. For example, I was feeling cold and Alyssa gave me her own shawl to cover me, which I really appreciated. Maybe some of the stylists are good, but the management isn't great? Often that's to blame - like they don't give their stylists a budget to really take care of their clients, have blankets and water on hand, etc. In any case, the RESULT was GREAT with Alyssa, I've seen her twice now. Her lashes last a really long time - I was shocked. I used to live in San Francisco and saw a stylist who I thought did a great job, but her lashes would fall out after two weeks, and then I would have this inconsistent look where all of a sudden I went from very few lashes to a full set. The lashes Alyssa did still had some remaining at the end of a whole month on vacation, so I was overjoyed. It's not like the full set stayed, but enough remaining that I wasn't embarrassed and still happy with my look. And now that I'm back, an apt every 2-3 weeks means I'll have consistent lashes that don't significantly change every 2 weeks, so I'm happy. :) Alyssa is definitely going to be my regular stylist, the long lasting lashes are so worth it!

A group of us needed a ladies "day at the spa" badly so we decided to try this place since it was close to where we were. They tried their best to accommodate us, which we appreciated, but the second we walked through the door we were less than impressed. The establishment had no flow, sort of thrown together without thought and very dirty- dust and hair balls everywhere like the flors hadn't been cleaned in a very long while. My massage was fine but not relaxing at all because you could hear everyone's outside conversations through the paper thin walls. I opted to forego my facial because I just couldn't get comfortable enough to enjoy the experience because I was turned off by the uncleanliness of the place. My girlfriends all felt the same. To top it off, the staff was arguing with each other and the front desk person was dismissive and ignored us for the most part. If you are looking for a quick nail fix then you might be okay but if you are seeking a relaxing, professional and CLEAN atmosphere avoid this place. I certainly would beware of trying any services here that require breakkng your skin barrier like peels, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning or injections because the likelihood of getting an infection is pretty high I would imagine! Just my opinion though. read more

I discovered this spa while trailing Audrey, one of their talented hairstylists who moved here from another salon. I stumbled upon an oasis of beauty in an otherwise dry desert. I'm writing this review because I've had damaged hair most of my life, and under Audrey's expert care, I look like a new person who can now fling their long, silky highlighted hair when dancing. She's amazing-- a perfectionist and probably overbooked; however, I've seen many women enter, looking a bit weary, and leave looking years younger and more beautiful, during the two years I've had the pleasure of frequenting this FULL service salon. So no worries on finding an expert hair stylist here! Jessica and David are both true artistes of manicures and pedicures. No nail artwork is too complex, and they keep up with all the current trends. Call early because the word's spreading for this reasonably priced salon that covers any beauty treatment you desire!! Kazie recently moved studios, and I just had to move with her! She has been doing a wonderful job on my hair for over a year now, and I really trust her to do it well. I have done anything from all-over color, cut, trim, and style with her, and she is really attentive to what you want, making sure to walk you through what that looks like so youre not surprised! There were no signs indicating that the space was reserved, and the spot I parked in was along the side of her salon--not directly in front. Her note even mentioned that patients of the clinic "usually" take her parking spots, which felt like a personal dig over something I had no way of knowing. What really bothered me is this: instead of simply walking into the clinic and speaking to me directly (which she easily could have done), she chose to vent on paper and leave a passive-aggressive note on my car. That's not how professionals handle conflict--it's how children do. I would never recommend stepping into this salon purely based on how its owner chooses to deal with people--through notes and blame, not communication.

I had a basic manicure on Saturday with this technician and upon arriving home, some of the polish was bubbling and a few nails had blemishes on them. I was careful after he was finished and stayed long enough for the manicure to dry but he did put a very thick layer of overcoat on the nails to "protect" them. He seemed in a rush and left me at the station to allow time for drying my nails, but like I said, after ample time, several hours later I had blemishes on the nails. I returned to the salon and in sharing my concerns, Tyler went ballistic and told me regular nail polish doesn't last. I hate gels. He insisted this was my problem, but he would redo them just this one time. He proceeded to coat over the blemished nails and reapply more thick top coating and I waited another one-half hour for them to dry and again, makiang the blemishes even more apparent. I had my pedicure there with another technician and she was wonderful. Needless to say, I would not recommend Tyler. He only seems to want to do gel, acrylic or powder nails, none of which are healthy for your nails. I did want to mention that Anna did my pedicure and she was great.
