I was way late on getting my nails done so took a chance and went here. I did have an appointment. I had a bad feeling about this place as the woman doing my nails did not speak to me. Yup I was there only 45 minutes and she was mute 100% of the time. The product she used on my nails was premixed. it was dirty looking, and from what I have read it is not high quality. My nails look just awful. Very thick and unprofessional. She concluded this experience with speaking $70" came out of her mouth. Never have I paid that much and have never had such a bad experience. I gave her 4 $20 and ask for my change back. No tip. Save yourself the grief..go elsewhere. read more

Vacationing in the area, I wanted to treat myself to a long overdue manicure. Only 2 techs were working the day I went in. The salon seemed clean and well maintained. Unfortunately the service I received was sub-par. It all started with the tech literally throwing gel colors in my lap, asking me to pick my color. I hadn't had time to get a manicure for 5 weeks so I'd been applying layers of regular polish on top of my last gel manicure so my nails would look ok until I could get them done. I explained to the tech that I had regular polish on my nails that could be removed with acetone and then she'd see where the gel polish was. But she couldn't be bothered with the extra step to remove regular polish and instead went to town using her electric dremel. But she didn't know where the gel polish actually stopped and regular polish started so it turned out she was using the dremel on the part of my nail that only had regular polish. It felt so hot and hurt my nails! I tried to explain that it hurt and that I was concerned the dremel was hitting and ruining my nail. But she just huffed and puffed with irritation and continued. The one other customer and I exchanged concerning glances often throughout this process. She put my nails in to soak. Then, much to my dismay, she began MANUALLY PEELING off my gel polish! Heck I could have done this myself. But we don't remove gel this way because it damages the nail! I begged her to stop - she and the male tech spoke in their language - and she continued. I just wanted to get polish back on my nails and be done with this. Her remaining work was sub-par. She barely trimmed my cuticles and, because she didn't push my cuticles back at all, she couldn't reapply polish close to the skin / cuticle. Hence the photo shows how grown out my nails look after only ONE WEEK since my horrid manicure. When all was said and done, I was in and out in only 30 mins! A good gel manicure, properly removing and reapplying polish, should take about 50 mins. If you're looking for a gel manicure that will still look great one week later, and you want to feel pampered, and have your concerns heard, this is not the place. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. read more

If I could rate this a zero I would. I called before to make sure they could do what I wanted, they said they could, then I went it and they said they couldn't. I just wanted a simple dip with tips. They did it with a gel instead. My nails had air bubbles under and started chipping a day after. I went in the next day to ask for a possible refund or half a refund as I had tipped them as well and they said no. I do not recommend at all. read more

Le, Haley and Jason are who I have seen here. Courteous, professional and helpful. They're always able to fit walk-ins and I'm amazed at their ability to juggle all of the people and how happy everyone always is. I'd recommend making an appointment if it's for a special occasion or to establish a regular routine especially during the "high season" when the snowbirds come back into town. read more

When I first started coming here about 4 years ago it was fantastic. Would always returned and recommended to everyone. I went about a year ago and my gel manicure didn't even last a day. So I called and told them my situation told them I have pics of the gel, that on more than one nails completely cracked. So they told me to come back and try again. Same issues. I called and let them know and honestly it wasn't worth my time to go back. So I stopped going there. Well today I thought I'd give them another shot it was closer to me than my other salon. I called they said they had an opening and then once I gave them my name they said no opening and he hung up on me. I was surprised so I called again and he says he's to booked he's short staffed and that I'm too much trouble. Good to know I won't spend my money at your establishment. Me telling you a year ago there were issues with my manicure wasn't to get a free manicure but to help your new business you bought; because people will stop coming if your services aren't done well. I wish you could have seen it that way. Me calling today was giving you another shot in hopes things have gotten better and it was good for me because it's closer to me than my other salon. So future yelpers looking for a salon. This place was once amazing. It was bought out about a year ago. Honestly I thought they were friendly until today but their quality of product was lacking. So take a risk coming here. I have a feeling they'll go out of business if they keep up like this. read more

I went to this salon for many years. They have lost their trusted techs. I tried a new guy and got the worst manicure of my life.

I did not have an appointment and waited less than 5 minutes for a pedicure. The salon was clean and the everyone was friendly. I was really pleased with the pedicure. My feet were soft and my toe nails were flawless. I will definitely be back. If you look forward to massaging chairs when you get your pedicure, you may be disappointed. The chairs were working but the massagers weren't as good as the average chairs. read more

Gave this business 2 tries. Went in for the first time back in the beginning of June 2018 and was turned away at 4:25pm on a Saturday saying it was too late in the day to do a brow waxing, they were closing soon. There were 2 people working, a Hispanic lady and a Caucasian lady. The white lady was the one who did the talking and was beyond rude. She did not want to be bothered and definitely did not want my business. I went back today 6/29 to get a brow wax again. There was only one person working. She informed me at 2:30pm that she was booked for the rest of the day and had no time at all available. I guess this place does not need new business. read more

The customer service could be better. Compared to other nail salons in Sahuarita / GV, this one is subpar, in my opinion.

Wonderful staff! At some pedi places, they have caused me foot pain when trimming nails or exfoliating. At Nails, Etc. I have NEVER had a painful pedicure. Additionally, they take care of any ingrown toenails expertly. read more
