The technician was only there for about 1.5 to 2 hours, and the results were very disappointing. When the cleaning was finished, the technician mentioned there was one stain he could not remove. I wanted to inspect the work, but he kept ushering me out, saying, "It's wet," and assured me it was only a small stain that was barely noticeable. Unfortunately, I trusted him and made the mistake of not checking everything before he left. After the carpets dried, we discovered it wasn't just one small stain--there were several stains and spots that had not been removed at all. When we contacted the owner about the issue, instead of standing behind the work, he tried to charge us extra to address problems that should have been handled during the original cleaning. Our landlord then referred us to a different carpet cleaning company. They charged $350--half the price we paid--and cleaned the entire house properly. They were able to remove all of the stains that this company claimed could not be removed. To make matters worse, when my husband left an honest review about our experience, the owner responded with misleading statements, including claims about offering a "refund" that never happened. He also tried to argue over the difference between "spots" and "stains." Regardless of what terminology he wants to use, the fact remains that the marks on the carpet were not removed, and we paid a premium price for poor results. We overpaid, received subpar service, and then had to hire another company to finish the job correctly. Save your money and look elsewhere!!!

I have only had my first cleaning so far, a deep cleaning to get rid of all the buildup I've let…read moreaccumulate over the last year in my new apartment. The cleaning was extremely thorough; I was quite impressed as I walked around all day afterwards noticing small things that had been done. I am excited to be on a maintenance schedule with them so my place doesn't get to the point of having that much buildup again (my ADHD is relieved!). The only downside so far is scheduling is a bit weird - instead of just giving a date/time or setting up a regular schedule (like same date/time each month), they keep saying they'll get back to me with a date and I have to wait to get it scheduled. This is bad for my ADHD, I need things just locked in and as regular as possible so they become routine. We'll see if this becomes a bigger problem as I go but I'm happy with the level of clean I got for what I consider a good price and a good rapport with the company so I'm trying to roll with it. Forest is super nice and responsive and really put Green Earth House Cleaning above others I reached out to by requesting a phone consultation where we talked through my goals and details about my apartment, etc. Everyone else just sent an impersonal message with an estimate. It made me feel more comfortable starting a professional relationship with them. I definitely recommend giving them a try!
