You can taste the pride in the flavors. We could've eaten here everyday and I'm looking forward to our next visit just to eat here again. And of course the beautiful island. ;) The burger is to die for! It's juicy, flavorful and decedent. The shrimp bowl was insane with perfectly grilled shrimp, vegetables, and rice. We also got the chefs special with asparagus- YUM! We want to try the shrimp burger next time. Our drinks were delicious! You can tell they really take the time to pour love into their food and cocktails. The service was beyond outstanding! They're all so kind and attentive. Huge shoutout to Guillermo who came out of the kitchen to explain the dishes to us. He's so passionate and talented, it really shines through him. It's amazing to see his talent showcased in the meals he presents! Thank you for an amazing experience. We can't wait for our next visit

It's a gorgeous and quaint spot with entirely covered outdoor seating with views of the water. Food options include rice bowls and burgers, and they have alcoholic drink options. I got their veggie bowl and thought it was delicious! After days of meat eating, the vegetable bowl was perfect. They have a few spots for parking across the street. Service was attentive, friendly, and efficient. They have COIVD protocols in place like hand sanitizer and temperature checks.

So much so that aside from our dinner reservations that we had planned we decided to stop in Sunday the first full day of our vacation for lunch. Kelly is open From around 11 to 4 for lunch.. Things did not get off to an auspicious start and it went downhill from there. We showed up at around three there were plenty of seats available. They didn't finally see us until 315 and we didn't get aa waiter until 20 minutes after that. We ordered a couple of apps, soup and the paella. We also asked for sparkling wine, which they were pouring all around us, and they proceeded to tell us they didn't have any. Of course, that wasn't true as they continued to pour to other people something we didn't pick up on right away because it was our first day and we weren't sure if the sparkling was part of the House pours. The food finally came out around four or 415 easily an hour after we first arrived. The shrimp quesadillas were unremarkable. The soup was lukewarm. Had two muscles in it and a shrimp tail. The paella was also unremarkable. Needless to say, we were quite disappointed on both the service and the food quality. Unfortunately, that's not where this story ends. About an hour after eating I came down with food poisoning, which pretty much wrecked the rest of that day and the following Monday. Needless to say we took Helio off our list of places to eat dinner. I wouldn't go back there if you paid me. Luckily, the rest of the resort has a variety of restaurants that for exceed what Helios's offered. Eat here at your own risk. .

My family and I stumbled upon this little gem while on vacation. This is a very quaint restaurant…read moreoverlooking the ocean. Our server was very attentive and accommodating since we had 2 small children with us. We ordered ceviche bruschetta which was perfectly marinated and so delicious that we ordered a second round. The pasta was definitely homemade and fresh. There wer five adults and we all nibbled off of each other's dishes and no one had a bad thing to say about the dishes. My only comment is that one or two of the dishes needed a little more seasoning hence the 4 star review. If you need a break from Mexican, this spot is a must!

The lime flavor was good and the octopus was tender, but the tomatoes tasted off. So off I was afraid to eat them for fear of getting sick. My son had the gnocchi Gorgonzola. The cream sauce was so thick it overpowered the gnocchi. The plate was a heap of gnocchi smothered in rich heavy cream with a hint of Gorgonzola. Terrible. My son also had a mojito. The drink was very strong (my son is 25 years old and certainly not new to mojitos) and not the good taste of a top shelf rum, but rather more of a grain alcohol taste (anyone who has lived on a college campus knows what that tastes like). He drank about half and left the rest. Within 1 hour after leaving La Louisa, my son became violently ill. So ill a doctor was necessary. We cannot tie his illness directly to a certain beverage he had that day; one cervesa and the mojito, but the doctor is certain he had alcohol poisoning. Again, we can only surmise as to the source. Food was not good and drinks suspect. If you want a fantastic view while dining, err on the side of caution while dining at La Louisa.

Nestor was the waiter, greeter, and all-around "make sure you're taken care of" guy. Fatema and Betty were wonderful servers--friendly, accommodating, and fun to chat with. And a big thank-you to Fege in the kitchen for the amazing food! The atmosphere is charming, with cute decorations and open-air seating. The fans kept us plenty comfortable during our October visits. Now, the food! The steak chilaquiles were the best I've ever had, and my husband said the same about his breakfast quesadilla. The famous coconut French toast absolutely lived up to the hype. Definitely worth ordering! But those potatoes... perfectly seasoned, topped with cheese, and mixed with a little corn. Sooo good! I'm still dreaming about them. Yes, we ordered them again. Of course we did. Prices were fair, and the generous portions made sharing easy. We're at that stage of life where we eat a little less and share a little more--but apparently, I'm still very protective of my potatoes! Wonderful people, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere. Mango Cafe is absolutely worth a visit--and then another!
