Food and service were both great. We had breakfast and lunch there. Good variety on the menu. The mimosas were delicious.

    Beef tenderloin. Amazing!!

Amazing beef tenderloin! Vicente, Cesar and Efrain are the best. Everything was awesome but the beef tenderloin was amazing!!

They don't even follow the recipe!

Depends on the server and what day you go. The male server generally does better than the female. The woman they hired here is extremely slow and takes things very personally. Blames it on the kitchen. One day the detox is green and another day the same detox is red, the manager blames it on the base of the juice which is not grapefruit. Overall depending on the day you can get two very different outcomes.

Delicious, absolutely gorgeous venue. Tried shrimp ceviche, Caesar salad, Thai salad; fish of day; grilled shrimp; strawberry tart; paella, lamb stew, seafood soup. Favorites were the ceviche and fish! Gorgeous frozen cocktails were waaaay too sweet for my taste, but fun! Huge attempt at wine upsell even though we said multiple times not interested.

The service is painstakingly slow; restaurant is severely understaffed. Can't say the food is worth the wait.

We had truffle burrata , arugula pear salad, homemade tagliatelle , lobster risotto and warm chocolate fondant. The quality and presentation in each course was impeccable. The tagliatelle was out of this world! We commented to the Maitre D as to the excellence of each course. He shared our comments with the chef , and the chef was kind enough to visit our table to thank us personally for our accolades and appreciation. When dining in Cancun, Fantino is a MUST!

This wasn't just another meal; it was a culinary journey, a deliberate rebellion against the beige mediocrity of resort dining. Our quartet, each seeking a unique escape, found solace in the artistry of Fantino's kitchen. The evening began with a delicate amuse-bouche, a tantalizing promise of what was to come. One of us savored the rich, earthy flavors of a mushroom pasta, each bite a symphony of umami that danced on the palate. Another reveled in the tender, perfectly seared filet, accompanied by seasonal vegetables that tasted like they'd been plucked from a sun-drenched garden that very morning. For the seafood lover among us, the grilled Mediterranean fish was a revelation - flaky, moist, and kissed by a whisper of the sea. The vegetarian of the group found nirvana in a vibrant, fresh salad, bursting with local produce and dressed with an olive oil so pure, it could have been a religious experience. Throughout the meal, the live piano music played a soft, elegant backdrop, elevating the ambiance to one of understated luxury. The service, seamless and unobtrusive, felt like a perfectly choreographed ballet. Each dish arrived with a narrative, a story of the chef's passion and meticulous attention to detail. In the end, it wasn't just the escape from the resort that we cherished, but the discovery of a place where food transcended mere sustenance and became art. Fantino didn't just feed us; it nourished our souls, reminding us that true culinary adventures lie beyond the safety of the all-inclusive. Good food is very often, even most often, simple food. And here, in the heart of Cancun, simplicity met sophistication in the most delightful of ways.

I mean, service is fantastic at the entire property, but Juan made our experience comfortable and enjoyable. The lobster ravioli was not presented in the old fashion style, but a wonderfully designed pasta dish that was too lovely to eat. My dinner guest had the ceviche appetizer and pesca pomodoro salad appetizer. We loved our meal and experience. Again thank you Juan for being our server!

You have the option to sit outside or inside which both are excellent options. To the right is the open kitchen and in front sits the fresh Italian meat and the most impressive is the leg of prosciutto (unfortunately did not have it on this trip). The waiters were attentive and gave wonderful recommendations. The insalata d'uva was pairs perfectly with the Gorgonzola dressing and balsamic reduction. Even better was the insalata d'asparagi which may have been one of best asparagus dishes I have had. The first thought of oranges with asparagus may be odd but just trust the chef and jump in. The Quattro formaggi may not sound that like a home run from the menu but with the copa and the smoked provolone the flavor is lifted to a place where you are wishing for a couple more bites as the dish comes to an end. The pavlova was just the right amount of sweet to end the night. Overall a very welcoming and well thought out experience and I would recommend if you have the time to stop by.
