She got out of her chair and started speaking to her colleagues in Asian throwing her hands up in the air. I knew she was talking about me and complaining. When she got the swatch I proved her right. She then changed the polish on the 2 fingers she started and then apologized. I composed myself and said thank you, gave her a tip and walked out. I will never go back there again. I have been going there for about 9 months and I've always noticed she was a very agitated and unkind person but I just took her personality for what it was because I liked how she did my nails. But that was the last straw. I'm done. Not to mention the place is not very clean.

I don't know where to begin. I had been going to Happy Color Nail and Spa for about a year, until…read morethis past week. I went in for a routine gel manicure before a job interview, and after my manicure something felt off. That night, my nails began to burn and itch, waking me up in the middle of the night. The following day, they became tender and I noticed a crust appearing under my nails. The following day, they began to puss and bleed. After getting the gel polish taken off, a bruised and infected nail was revealed. I went to urgent care and they put me on strong antibiotics for a staph infection caused by uncleaned tools or improperly cured gel. It has been 2 weeks since this debacle and I am still in a great deal of pain, and won't be able to get my nails done for the foreseeable future (for medical reasons and out of sheer fear of this happening again). The store refused to take responsibly when I told them about what was happening and insisted it was my body having an allergic reaction to the polish, not them. If you need your nails done, go anywhere else but here.

They supposedly offer many kinds of pedicures with massages etc. I felt like there was no one to take care of me so she tried to do it herself. They sat me in the chair and kept attending to people walking in, running around for stuff etc.. She was hurriedly clipping my nails and clipped one too much. It kept stinging the whole time from then on. The cleaning, scrubbing and massage was hurried as if they wanted me out of there. Honestly, all they want is your money. I don't live here so not going to ever go there but couldn't help expressing how un welcome I felt there.

I'm leaving 2 stars because I feel pretty confident that I would have had a much better experience with a different nail tech. He was very rushed and impatient with me for the entirety of the appointment. It felt like he was working against me or in spite of me or something. I did not get his name. My nails aren't horrible but they're definitely not what I asked for. Most notably, when he asked what length I wanted my nails cut to, I pointed on my pinky finger to generally what length I was going for. He just said "no, too long," and cut that nail considerably shorter than what I had requested. He didn't double check before making that cut, and the rest of the appointment went pretty much the same way. He was also passive aggressive (and just plain aggressive) in a way I haven't seen with other nail techs. Toward the end, one nail brushed up against his hand, which messed up some of the paint he had just applied. It happens. What I definitely didn't ask for was for him to then lecture me about how I need to keep my hands flat, don't bump into him, etc. As if I had done that on purpose. Also, the nails were $90. This employee is very talented and did a meticulous job on my nails. But like I said, it's just not what I asked for. I wish that he had been more accommodating and less (visibly and verbally) impatient with me. I feel really regretful that I came here and ended up paying so much for nails I kind of can't stand. If you plan on coming here just be aware of that. And maybe avoid this specific nail tech if possible.

I did the powder gel with Nancy, she cut my cuticle until it was bleeding ( I had to ask her to clean the instrument because my blood was still on it) too thick on the gel and crooked nails. They overcharged me $4.00 because I used my credit card and not cash! I know this place has been around for years and some people just love LI pro nails but if you were smart you should stay away I now have an infection in my cuticle I'm on anabiotic's so please be safe and make sure the instruments are clean if you continue going there
