Excellent tacos, great drinks, ambiance is amazing on the first floor not the second floor. Nice staff.

I absolutely love this place. I do recommend that if you're gonna come eat here for dinner that you asked for outside seating if you like a quieter environment because when it's packed inside, it's very loud with all the voices of people talking, but you did stay outside, so really enjoyed our experience In comfy couch chairs. The server, Juan, gave great recommendations throughout and did an amazing job at checking in. Over the drinks were really good and strong, and the food was delicious. Every place that was put on our table had excellent presentation and were full of flavor. I will definitely be back here again. read more

Wow! What a beautiful restaurant in the heart of Metuchen!!! Myself and two friends were thrilled to be able to stop in to try Medimodo for the first time. We only stopped briefly for drinks, but the selection was definitely intriguing! We loved nibbling on the complimentary chips and salsa. I would lean more towards stopping in for drinks over a full meal as the prices were pretty steep for dinner. However, I would definitely be up to trying it in the future. read more

Hip, buzzy, upscale Mexican restaurant that's a hot spot for group outings. I've seen Meximodo pop up all over social media, and I can see why people are drawn to this spot - good atmosphere, good food, and good drinks (fun & impressive fact - Meximodo currently hold the "Guinness world record for the biggest selection of agave spirits"!). The entire space is colorful and lively, and ended up being a great spot for us to celebrate our friend's birthday. Food is a tad on the pricey end, but overall tasty and presented beautifully. Highlights for me were the ceviche appetizer and the barbacoa tacos. I thought the chicken al pastor tacos were just okay, and I'd probably skip on those next time. Definitely make a reservation, because we were shocked how busy it was for a Monday night! Since we had a larger party size, I sent an email reservation request in advance, and they were pretty responsive and got back within a day. read more

Have passed by this restaurant a few times but decided to go in for a friends birthday . have to say - the interiors and the atmosphere is just fantastic ! The whole place is colorful and very bright .. we were taken by JC and he was great .. great service . Lots of space inside and outside to sit / eat ... parking is a concern here . Tough to get parking . Had to park few blocks away. We ordered some drinks and then some food . They are tequila specialists ! Some amazing drinks . beer options were also good and nominal pricing . Lots of cocktail and mocktail options . 5/5 for the drinks .. Coming to food . We liked the quality and taste of food but the quantity was disappointing.. its half the size of any other Mexican restaurant. But we felt light ... had to order few other dishes because it was light . We almost felt hungry after our lunch ;). Jokes aside , we liked the corn starter , guacamole was good .. rice bowl was ok. Not the best but tasted good. Chicken bowl had a lot of meat and worth the money . Avacado toast was a small piece and was a it overpriced ! Overall the food was great but due to the quantity it looked a little pricey . We still liked the overall experience.. wanted to give 5 stars but can only give 4 !! Well done team . read more

Beautiful restaurant close to Edison but very different from all the Indian restaurants in the area. Large spaces, and the Guinness book of world record holder for the largest collection of agave liquor. We went for brunch and really enjoyed our time. Service is quick and attentive even though they can get quite busy. We absolutely loved the dessert with corn flan! Definitely a must visit . read more

Well, thanks to Instagram reels and recent news across the portal about- 'this Metuchen restaurant is getting the Guinness World Record for having the most tequilas' - so, I had to try this... One thing in the restaurant is sure to capture your attention first - the towering bar brimming with more than 1,000 tequilas, mezcals, and agave spirits around a Day of the Dead mural. It is a bold and modern Mexican restaurant rooted in classical Mexican cooking. The design mixes vibrant colors, rich textures, and crafted details for a unique and fun dining experience. It is also listed in many blogs as one of the best new restaurants in the state to try. We had a reservation so we got the table in no time and settled quickly against a beautiful background. We ordered- * Complimentary tostada with 4 different types of sauce: it was good except for a couple of sauces. * Street Style Corn: grilled corn puree with other cream/sauce/corn. Good one. Go for it. * Shrimp Taco & Chicken (Pollo) Taco: Both tacos were good, had good flavor, sauces, and veggies, and well-cooked shrimp & chicken so I would rate it higher. * Enchiladas: it was already $21 listed and adding chicken was an extra $6. Had enchiladas filled up with chicken, it would have made sense, but they just sprinkled on top of it. Taste wise- okay 3/5 * Pollo Con Mole: not sure why it's the chef's favorite. Chicken breast pieces with rice, yes sauce is something different but it was an ordinary dish for me. Nothing special about it. Food wise: except for Tacos, it was just an okay experience for me. Understood you are well versed in drinks, but can you focus more on food as well? I would suggest, including more items in the food menu. I understand you got a Guinness award for drinks, but I found the menu is more about drink, and less about food. Also work on how it can be improved, taste-wise. I did not find anything special about taste. mediocre food It's 3/5 IMO. Ambiance: well, no doubt it's top-class. A special mural is the center of attraction. Superb decor, beautiful design, high ceilings, bar setup, beautiful frames, chairs, tables... Service: well, it was top-notch. I guess they knew how busy they were and wanted to serve everyone so the moment you got settled, they immediately came with the menu, and even it took no time to bring our appetizers & main course. Everything was quick. Parking: You can park in the garage behind the restaurant. The restaurant will validate that. Overall it's 3/5, but hey let's appreciate the vibe/decor/ambiance/service, so an extra star for that... So for me, it's 4/5. read more

Came here with my large family for a birthday dinner. Definitely make a reservation if you are a big group as this place was surprisingly full on a Monday evening. We were seated promptly at our reservation time and our server was attentive to our group of 14. This restaurant is big! I love the big open restaurant, trendy bar, and lively vibe but it does make for a loud meal. Onto the food: - Love the complimentary tostadas that come with a side of 4 salsas, some with a spicy kick to it. - Street style corn: 4/5 this was delicious! - Acapulco style ceviche: 4/5 was very fresh. - Zucchini carpaccio: 5/5 this dish was light and refreshing! - Steak & cheese tacos: 3/5 the steak was overcooked and a bit tough but otherwise had good flavor. I topped it with spicy salsa from our starters and it gave it a great kick. - Rice & beans: 4/5 shared this with my dad as none of the tacos come with a side. All of the side dishes are fairly big and I definitely recommend sharing (2 people for one side is more than enough). - I had the jalapeño margarita and it was spicy but I definitely could have upgraded to the next spice level. The drink wasn't too strong so I would get a double next time as well. Overall, I love the vibe here and appreciate the level of service we received for our big group. I definitely want to come back and try other items on their menu. read more

I visited Meximodo during brunch, and I'm not too sure if this was the best time to dine in and be able to actually experience their food. The brunch menu is what you would expect - some breakfast items like French toast and omelettes, a few popular Mexican dishes, salad and a burger. My group ordered the barbacoa omelette, chicken and waffles, and tres leches french toast. Barbacoa omelette: by far the best item we ordered. I loved the tender shredded beef and the flavor of it, but it just seemed lazy with it thrown on top of a pile of rolled eggs. This was served with guacamole right on the plate & with sourdough toast, so you got a nice mixture of meat, eggs, and a DIY avocado toast. Chicken and waffles: This was pretty standard, chicken tenders sandwiched between waffles. Nothing too special about it, there weren't any flavors here that stood out. I do wish the waffles were a bit crispier though because with the steam from the chicken it got soggy really fast. Tres leches french toast: This was extremely sweet (don't know why I was expecting differently) and didn't have many flavors to cut that sweetness. I got tired of this very quickly because of the doughiness of the bread, it gives your mouth a workout with chewing. There were a few berries on top to provide acidity, but no cinnamon/vanilla flavors of traditional french toast. After tasting the barbacoa and experiencing how flavorful it was, I definitely think visiting for dinner is the best call and think that they execute Mexican food extremely well. People definitely come to Meximodo for the atmosphere, because immediately when walking in you could tell they cater to the party crowd. The theming of the restaurant (at the moment, don't know if this changes) surrounds Day of the Dead, with greeters and waitresses having their faces painted and bedazzled as sugar skulls, florals and skeletons around the restaurant, and a DJ in the main dining area keeping the vibe lively. If you're looking for a fun place with high energy for a boozy brunch or birthday dinner with friends, this should be your go to! Hopefully I can update this review after trying their dinner menu and getting to taste the Mexican food they're known for. read more

Ambiance 5/5 Packed on a Monday night, had an amazing positive energy likely aided or fueled by the beautiful space. The birthday party sparkler thing every 30 minutes or so was cheesy, but not enough to kill the vibe. Decor 5/5 One of the better designed places I've been to in NJ. Food Salsas 3/5 - Good not great. Love that they give multiple salsas, but they were all surprisingly bland with the exception of the orange habanero one, which is very flavorful. Not a huge fan of the full fried tortilla as it's thicker, I prefer a good chip. Street corn 4/5 - Best thing we had all night, their version of elote is very balanced. I recognize the truffle powder they are using, but I can'd decide if it enhances the dish or if it feels a little out of place. Perhaps the former, as the dish is good. Guacamole 1/5 - Got the habanero and pineapple, was warned it was very hot. Nope. No heat at all. To the point that maybe they forgot the habanero part? Very bland overall. I like to get a little adventurous with my guac, but honestly none of the three options they serve sounded very appetizing. Would rather have a traditional one done well. Grilled Ceasar 3/5 - Again, good not great. I love grilled salads, but this one just had some char marks at the tips, just enough to call it charred but not enough to show off any culinary chops. Dressing was better than most and it was a nice presentation overall. Red Snapper 3/5 - Solid. Cooked perfectly, decent flavors and presentation, but nothing special. Service 3/5 - The bartenders know what they are doing and know the service business, but the servers all seemed pleasant but inexperienced. Considering the food and service were not much better than decent, I'm surprised by how much I liked this place. Will definitely go back. read more

Very, very busy, even on a monday evening! The atmosphere is so beautiful and fun, but between the crowds and the music it was almost too loud to hear the company I was with. The drinks were unique and very very tasty! They are a tequila/mezcal bar at heart, so that is the kind of drink me u we are working with. I dont think they had wine on the menu to add variety. Some ordered the burger, and seemed happy with their food. The chicken al pastor was tasty, but a little messy. Some menu items were unavailable at the time of our reservation, including the churros on the dessert menu which we had been very excited about. I wish we had tried more of the menu... Overall a little pricey for the food and experience, but definitely adds some variety to the downtown area. If you had to park in the parking garage, in theory the restaurant can help validate your tickets but we were unaware and did not get the assistance we needed. read more

Very nice Mexican restaurant, huge place, really good for a large party, awesome bar and biggest tequila selection ever. The food is just ok, it felt like they are so big that the kitchen is straggling with the quality. The food is just ok. We tried chicken mole, tacos and red snapper and was kinda bland. The chicken was undercooked with a little blood next to the bone. I think deserts were really good, I would strongly recommend all of them. Awesome drinks selection. Try their margaritas. Service was good when we saw our waiter, but we had to wait to reorder the drinks. read more

Not only is this place esthetically beautiful but the food, service and ambiance all match the restaurants appearance! Make sure you make a reservation before heading here as this place is the talk of the town right now- it's a hot spot for sure. When you first walk in , you see how beautiful it is, they have indoor and outdoor seating and the music is on point. I ordered guacamole and a mushroom quesadilla for starters , both were so flavorful and delicious. They give you these big tortilla chips with different sauces and that was yummy. I got the birria tacos, not featured in my pics but that wasn't as great as everything else, it lacked flavor. However , the flan and churros I got for dessert were yummy. Overall everything was great and I'd like to come back to taste more items on the menu. Thinking of coming back here for my birthday :) read more

Went with my family expecting to eat something good for breakfast, my pancakes were raw, and the appetizer didn't came to the table until an hour later. The service was poor and we know is not the waitresses fault, but we keeps asking them and they keep saying the same thing. I understand that is kinda busy, but still, we were one of the first tables to arrive. I will be honest, the whole ambiance was good, I liked the colors and how everything looked. But the food really throw me off. read more

Situated in the downtown area of Metuchen NJ is Meximodo. The Ambiance of the restaurant is definitely upbeat and trendy. ( A vibe place so to say) . They have lots seating both on ground level and upstairs and also outdoor as well . We went during dinner time and it was definitely crowded. For being as crowded as it was for dinner . The service was no problem at all. As for the food itself, I think that it's just ok. We ordered the Birria Tacos , Tacos Al Pastor , Yucca Fries , Rice & Beans and lastly churros for dessert. Both taco orders suffered from being rather on the small side and under seasoned. The Yucca fries were decent and the sauce it came with really made a difference. The churros were ok ; nothing special. They came with a side of chocolate dip and a side of peanut butter dip. I think this is a place where the food comes second and the emphasis is more so on the alcoholic drinks. The food really is just ok nothing really stood out. Hopefully, other places in metuchen are better . Altogether for two people it was 89 dollars with tip included for what we ordered . I did notice the was a 2.3 % convenience fee added to the bill. read more

I came to this place on Wednesday night. There were a decent amount of people sitting inside and outside. We sat at the bar. Inside is clean, spacious and aesthetically pleasing. For food, I had the street-style corn and the shrimp tacos. Both were so yummy. The corn was a puree and had a chipotle aioli that gave it a tiny bit of a kick. The shrimps in the taco were really juicy. I would order both items again. For drinks, I tried the el jefe and the mango margarita with mezcal. The margarita was just okay. I honestly expected it to be better than it actually was. But I did really enjoy the el jefe, which is also made with mezcal, pineapple and some herb tasting liqueur. I would definitely come back for more of those! read more

Meximodo has got Vibe and hipness down pat! The interior is absolutely lovely. There is nothing quite like it in the area. Add to that our delicious food and excellent service, our group of 5 rated this a 5-star experience. Reservations are currently a must at this establishment. We opted for brunch, since there were no openings on the day I planned to get together for friends. I booked 3 weeks in advance. We were provided complimentary seasoned popcorn. It grew on me, but I would have preferred chips and salsa. I devoured my Huevos Rancheros and my husband enjoyed the Barbacoa Omelette. The entrees were served pipping hot with flavor and deliciousness! The prices are a bit high. We were glad we tried this place for brunch, where the price point is less than the dinner menu. There is a large parking deck right next door. It's free for 3 hours on weekends. The restaurant will also validate parking during the weekdays or if you exceed the 3 hours on the weekend. NOTE: A 2.9% fee is added to all credit card purchases. I believe, it was listed as a "processing fee." read more

My friends and I were eyeing this spot before it opened so we were excited to try it out! We visited on a Saturday afternoon for brunch and it was packed! We arrived at 1pm and was seated at 1:35pm. They were behind on reservations, so reservations are highly recommended. If you can't find (metered) street parking or prefer a garage, there is a parking garage behind the restaurant. Parking is free for 3 hours. Anything more than 3, the restaurant will validate your ticket. Since it was a bit warm during our visit, people sat in the outside patio and the restaurant just looked beautiful. The high ceilings, decor, tables, chairs, colors. The bar area is stunning as well. We were seated inside at a corner booth and it was such a little cozy spot for 3 people. I noticed there's another floor upstairs which is nice because you can see the 1st floor if you're up there. They give each table complimentary popcorn tossed in seasoning. It wasn't bad. Our waitress suggested the guacamole as an appetizer so we decided to order it with pineapple and mango. My fave! It came with 3 crispy tortillas and were able to order more for the table. No charge. For my drink, I ordered the Lychee, Por Favor which was solid! It comes in a cute glass topped with colorful flowers. My friends ordered the Jamaica Agua Fresca mocktail which was refreshing. For our entrees, two of us ordered the Tres Leches French Toast and one ordered Chilaquiles with chicken. Get the french toast! It is delicious, I was excited to have leftovers so I could eat it later in the day, haha! All in all, it was a good time. Service was fairly quick, food was good, parking was free. Would come back to try more of the cocktails. I'm eyeing the Agave Colada. read more

Came here on a Saturday afternoon to celebrate a friend's birthday. Made reservations weeks in advance with only one time slot available. Dinner was completely booked even two weeks in advance. So, if you want to go. Reservations HIGHLY recommended and in advance. Parking - there's free parking in the parking garage behind the restaurant. Less than 3 hours does not require validation by the restaurant. There's also a good amount of metered street parking available When we got there for our reservation at 145 p.m., we were told it would be a few minutes to sit. Well...... almost 30 minutes later, we were finally seated. So, even with a reservation, we waited an additional 30 minutes to sit. Pack some patience. This place is busy. Ambiance - colorful, bright, and lively. There are plenty of tables and different seating areas. There's also dining areas upstairs for private parties Food. We had the following: Chicken and waffles - tasty, with chicken fingers and not chicken pieces. Huevos rancheros- delicious and very flavorful with a tiny kick to it Meximodo bowl - tasty and fulfilling Corn and roasted tomatoes guacamole, really good and tasty Milanesa de pollo- very filling Chocolate lava cake - very yummy with a little spiced kick it to. We decided to come last minute with our friends (party of 4) on a Friday and got seated within 20 minutes. The atmosphere was very nice outside and very tropical, almost forgot I was still in NJ. It reminds me of a restaurant that I went to in FL last year that gave a very similar atmosphere. Seating outside was nice and when it got darker the staff put a light on our umbrella so that there would be light. The food was really good and I usually never finish all my food but this time I did. My husband and I also enjoyed our food and we really don't have anything to complain about. I got the Jamaican drink from the non alcoholic section and I thought it was light and refreshing. The one thing that I can complain about is having to ask the waitress for water about 3 times, I understand they're busy and if that's the case the facility should be providing more servers to prevent this from happening. Or at least bringing one pitcher of water per table to at least have self serve. All in all I liked it and the prices were also decent. read more

However, Mexi Sangria was a fire brunch cocktail substitute and a drink I would totally get again! I also love how they give popcorn for free on the side. Met with a couple of my girlfriends and made these reservations back in December and so glad we did. This place is hopping and packed on a Saturday night! Reservations are a must and I see why it's hard to book a date, everything was great! Pros: - Parking garage is available and is walking distance - Another parking lot is available and some street parking so you'll need to pay. The restaurant doesn't have their own lot - Reservations are a must. Ours was at 6:30pm on a Saturday night and we were a party of 4... it was great when we got there at 6:30pm they sat us right away! - Margaritas were great - Food from apps, entrees to dessert were so good - Complimentary starter was awesome which gave us 4 sauces to try - the red one was hot so be careful - Service was great and very friendly - They gave us a free dessert (churros) on the house since we left them a review - Atmosphere and decor was very nice Cons: - It was somewhat noisy but my girlfriends and I were able to chat - Really not many cons at all So here's my favorites: Apps: Favorite: Coconut Tiger's Milk Ceviche - this was soooo good. The flavor in each bite. Street Style Corn - If you love elote you need to get this. Great for sharing since it's already off the cobb. Entrees: 2 Faves - Pork Belly - oh boy this was so damn good. Make sure to take a bite with the apples and that mole sauce yummmmm! Nayarit-Style Red Snapper - I almost didn't get this and I'm so glad we did. Snapper was cooked great, take each bite mixed with the toppings (salsa, pineapple pico and avocado) and rice. Delicious!! I didn't care too much for the Barbacoa Tacos... they were good but not the best. Desserts: Can't ever go wrong with churros... and the corn flan was pretty damn good too. I loved the Guava Margarita (made with tequila), didn't care too much for the Dragon Fruit Margarita. Loved the service... they were quick even for a really busy night! And to sit us down when 1 person wasn't yet there. Big reason why I gave them 5 stars! I will definitely come back and try the other items on the menu. read more

So thankful to my boss for gifting me a gift card! Love the vibe of Meximodo- great music and energy. We got there at 815 and the place was packed for a Monday night. We ended up grabbing seats by the bar. We ordered: - pomegranate guacamole - pork belly tacos - shredded beef tacos - side of rice and beans - Maria cookie ice cream For the table, there were tostadas and salsa- the red one is SPICY so take care of yourself. Avo crema salsa was my favorite. To be honest, I wasn't sure about pomegranate seeds being part of guacamole, but it was a really nice surprise and great addition. Would definitely order that again. Our server was also really kind and attentive. A+! Totally recommend reservations. So I came back with several friends. Had a reservation. The checking in situation was again an issue. Not as many people blocking the entrance BUT if your table is not ready - they have you wait outside and last night was freezing. Luckily we were outside maybe 15mins but I over heard the table next to us said they waited outside for 1 hr with reservations. Nothing blocking the cold and wind. There were heat lamps but they don't do anything. I think they are taking on too many reservations and causing them several issues - this is one of them. I was happy we were seated downstairs this time since I wanted to experience it downstairs ..... the bar is pretty to look at but honestly it is so loud in there- sounds like a cafeteria. Definitely can't go there to have conversations. Maybe different earlier or brunch. Drinks .... Took foreverrrrrrr. We ordered them before appetizers but got them end of appetizers. Lmao and it was poorly made. Maybe last time they came faster because I was seated upstairs and they have their own bar. Food. I tried the chicken enchiladas salsa verde this time BUT mine and another friends red sauce version were both SO SALTY. Street corn was still good - the coconut milk cerviche was ok. Churros were ok. My friends were really excited to try this place but felt bad cuz they were disappointed . I told them it wasn't like this when I came in December on a Saturday night. Waitress and staff were nice . I just think they are taking in too many people and unable to manage which is lacking in several areas of experience. Hope they fix it before they lose too many customers. read more

The hype surrounding this restaurant has been a lot these past few months, so I was definitely excited to try. The service was fantastic, and even though it was pretty packed with reservation groups all waiting, the staff did a great job trying to accommodate everyone. I also always appreciate a server who has a sense of humor and good recommendations. The interior of the restaurant is gorgeous and I must say several seating areas provide a great place to snap a new profile picture, especially if your back is facing the bar! The ambiance is classy, but casual, and clientele are more so the working adult than younger adults. While I was excited for the food, it really fell a bit short for me. The tacos I got were well-balanced, but fell on the underwhelming side, and it didn't pack as much flavor as it did aesthetic. Parking validation was really simple and our waiter just told us to give it to the front of the house on our way out. We had no problems there nor any when using the ticket to head out of the garage. I'll have to come back to try their alcoholic beverages, as they are more likely to be the stars of the show instead of the food. read more

Come for the food, stay for the vibes. The food, while it tastes decent has very small portion sizes and is a bit overpriced so be prepared to order more than you expect if running on an empty stomach. The decor and overall ambiance is perfect for friends to hangout and grab a bite during the evening. Their birthday dessert is yummy and they go all hands on deck to wish you too. What is the hype about this place?! We had a 1:15 reservation and didn't get to sit until almost 2. They had us all squished in this tiny entry area that was packed to the brim. We had a small child in the group so that wasn't the best environment for him. The waiters were definitely under staffed and over worked. We didnt get our food until almost 3 pm! (So about 2 hours just waiting for the table and to get the food). Not to the fault of our waitress, she was definitely trying her best. We did ask for a high chair for the child and they originally gave us a high chair that'd put the baby below the table .. we had to keep requesting for a higher one and talk to more than 1 person to make that happen. Onto the food - guacamole- good flavor but doesn't come with chips, you have to order it on the side - street style corn: it was literally pureed corn! The texture was very off, but had a good taste - chilaquiles: look at my picture to get an idea of this, no veggies, soggy chips, very bland but spicy as heck. We had to ask for chipotle mayo just to have add more flavor but ultimately only could ate half - tres leches pancake - again, flavor was missing. Presentation was great but just very sweet milky taste/one note of flavor - el jefe drink: very good mezcal cocktail Ambiance: loud and lively read more

This place is crazy busy. The restaurant is beautiful. We must have had an off day but unfortunately our drinks were really bad. I ordered the lychee drink and it was completely sour. My cousin got a mango margarita and it had no mango in it. It was just sour mix so we were a bit disappointed. The manager was kind enough to have the bartender remake them, but still my lychee drink just tasted like chemicals. As far as food, we weren't happy with any of the tacos and our chips and salsa was stale. I will have to try to give this place another try as I really liked the ambience. Tip: you can't just hang around the bar area even just for drinks it requires a reservation. Also do not walk in, you will be waiting, good idea to make a reservation. read more

When walking into Meximodo I couldn't believe how awesome the vibe was here. We were greeted by two lovely women who asked if we had reservations. Unfortunately we didn't but they seated us anyway. We were super excited. We got a great view of the restaurant the kitchen, bar. The music was pumping it was really nice to chill. The staff was nice when we were seated we ordered cocktails an old fashion type of drink and a take on a pinacolda on ice. Both were refreshing. They brought out freshly fried chips and 4 different dips. What an awesome start to a meal. We ordered both tostadas the barbacoa which is shredded meat with fixins and raw tuna with fixins. We personally enjoyed the barbacoa. It had a lot more flavor! Next we ordered the chicken mole . Mole is my fav. Especially done right. The look of the dish was very pleasing. My one issue, the chicken was very dry. The mole was good. It needed a bit more rice. Overall I love the vibe of this place and I would def come back and try Meximodo again. read more

The restaurant itself is very cute and lively. It is not a place to go on a low key, romantic dinner, moreso fun vibes. The cocktails were good, nothing extraordinary. We had a reservation, and still waited about 15 min. The food we found to be sub par. Everything comes very fast. I think we received our appetizers 2 minutes after we placed the order, we felt a little rushed. I thought my chicken was a bit dry, even after I ended up dumping all of the mole on top, the rice was fine. Also the shrimp was not crispy at all in the tacos. It wasn't bad at all! Just nothing I'm dying to go back and order. I personally think our hole in the wall Mexican spots blow this out of the water in my opinion. Our waiter was very nice. And the place itself was visually appealing read more
