So she isn't the greatest at dealing with the two legged animal...l can forgive her for that. I adopted a beautiful gray tabby from her in 2017, in 2020 l had brain surgeries (4) and was unable to care for myself for about eight months. Kathy kept my Ginger Daisy for that whole time until l was able to take Ginger back home. I will always be profoundly grateful to Kathy for that supreme act of kindness. I didn't have to worry about my kitty while l was trying to heal. If you are serious about adopting a kitty you can not go wrong with Friends of Pets!

I then called to speak to a manager and to ask the name of who had answered the phone, she refused to provide that information and hung up on me; clearly not wanting any negative feedback to get to the owner. Well, after looking at the business registry and getting the name from my wife, I found out that the individual WAS the owner. Please do not support this business if you have received treatment like this from her, it is not acceptable and extremely unprofessional. No one in a customer facing role should ever treat someone in the way she treated us. All of which was entirely unjustified. The owner is a horrible person and needs a wake-up call.

First thing first - refuel our gas tank. I used my sister's Fred Myer loyalty membership # to get a discount on gas. I think we saved three cents a gallon. The second time we didn't provide the number as it wasn't a big savings. In Oregon they have gas attendants to pump your gas. Years ago hubby got out of the car to pump gas and the attendant knew right away we were from California where we pump our own gas. Fred Myer is a like a Target, but on a larger scale. They sell clothes, garden supplies, household goods, food, bakery, deli etc. Their store layout is kind of weird. It's one floor. It looks more like an office building than a store at first glance. We saved $18 in groceries using my sister's Fred Myer loyalty membership #. The best edible was the Angel food cake found in the bakery department. I wished our local supermarket could replicate it.

I love their chocolate pudding cakes! Their staff have been there for many years which says a lot. Sherm left a wonderful, amazing legacy!! I moved to Klamath Falls and was totally relieved to see that there is one here with the same great service and prices. Not too mention, a bench for a weary soul to sit on while waiting for a ride! The store was very clean AND ORGANIZED! The aisles were clean and well kept. The restroom was very clean and easily accessible. A lot of places have them at the very back corner. That makes it hard to find. The parking lot, was just as huge as the store. And it was very clean as well. The Walmarts that I usually go to have trash everywhere. Not here. But the most important aspect of the store in my opinion, was the customer service. I stopped and spoke to AT LEAST four different employees. EVERY SINGLE ONE was friendly and helpful. They told me where something was and then showed me the way. They had a great attitude and a smile on their faces. I was amazed at their hospitable and friendly attitudes. I live in Sacramento but would be tempted to drive the FIVE HOURS to this Walmart just because it was a GREAT Experience. I did not take any pictures because I thought it was going to be a quick stop. But I really enjoyed doing my shopping at this store. Even if I only bought two items and spent less than $8. Now I have three to four salsas on hand at all times, we eat Mexican several times a week now, and it's so much better than I could afford eating out. El Torito is also Gringo Friendly, so if you don't speak Spanish or speak it well (I don't), you will still have all the help you need -- the customer service is outstanding!
