    From the meat department

I have been so disappointed over the last few years. I just bought bacon from the meat department but it was torn in half - not whole slices of bacon! I have bought their cooked shrimpcto eat that night and twice it was rotten. The produce is not always great. The limes I just bought were dry. I needed three to get an ounce of juice. Then I spend 10 minutes logging into their app to get 2 dollars off a jar of pasta sauce. A saving grace is one time a woman working produce ask me if I needed help while I was logging in to get a digital coupon for a pineapple. She put a sticker on it with the sale price so I could move one with my day. It can be that easy.

Entering the state of Oregon means no sales tax for us Californians. We'd plan to be in Oregon for a week's stay so we wanted to load up on groceries. First thing first - refuel our gas tank. I used my sister's Fred Myer loyalty membership # to get a discount on gas. I think we saved three cents a gallon. The second time we didn't provide the number as it wasn't a big savings. In Oregon they have gas attendants to pump your gas. Years ago hubby got out of the car to pump gas and the attendant knew right away we were from California where we pump our own gas. Fred Myer is a like a Target, but on a larger scale. They sell clothes, garden supplies, household goods, food, bakery, deli etc. Their store layout is kind of weird. It's one floor. It looks more like an office building than a store at first glance. We saved $18 in groceries using my sister's Fred Myer loyalty membership #. The best edible was the Angel food cake found in the bakery department. I wished our local supermarket could replicate it.

Went to the electronic department. Very slow and rude. Rest of the store is awesome.

My experience with NORCO has been less than stellar. There was no follow up after the referral from…read morea pulmonologist, requiring me to follow up when they magically found the referral paperwork. Once the CPAP device was received I was scheduled for an orientation with the respiratory therapist. My wife and I attended the orientation that I thought to be appropriate and satisfactory. In about 30-days I stopped by to pickup another mask cushion (F20) that I understood was available every 30-days, paid for by Medicare. At the counter I was told a new mask cushion was only available every 90-days, and they had none in stock anyway. A few days later the mask cushion was damaged by my dog, so I called asking if I could stop by an pick one up, even if I had to pay for it. They still had none in stock but the lady that answered the phone said she would send one to my home, and stated I was eligible for a mask every 30-days as I thought. Since that phone call a week has passed, and a new mask cushion has not been received but, Amazon is your friend. Suspecting the shipped items would be delayed, or not received at all, I ordered three mask cushions and a complete headgear set from Amazon, received in two days. Had I waited on the NORCO delivery, I would still not have use of my CPAP in over a week. Perhaps it will arrive later today. By way of comparison, the three mask cushions from Amazon cost about $46 for all three. NORCO advised one mask cushion would cost $55 if I had to pay for it, and if I understood her correctly. For these reasons I cannot recommend NORCO for CPAP services.
