I am so disappointed in the deli. Everything looks so good, but it is all loaded with sugar. I suppose most grocery store delis are the same. They get kits and mix it together on site. But all of these savory dishes, they are not desserts, have sugar in them. I've tried most of them. Even the Super Food mix, which should be the healthiest item on the table is sweet. I got the curried chicken salad today and it was so salty and sweet I didn't finish it. This is bad for diabetics, seniors, dieters, everyone. Savory foods do not need sugar!! I love my Fred Meyer store. However, the pharmacy is the worst I've ever encountered. I do my regular shopping at Fred Meyer, so I decided to use the pharmacy there instead of Albertsons. I left a written Rx on Friday (3/11/16), along with three Rx for future filling. They said they didn't have enough verapamil but I could get it Saturday. Didn't have it on Saturday. I called Monday morning. The phone rang for about 2-1/2 minutes before they picked up. It still wasn't ready. They said I could get it after 3:30 p.m. I got to the pharmacy about 3:50. I waited in line until about 4:10. There were NO electric carts available (recurring problem); & my hip was very painful; in addition, I had spasms all night long from standing for so long. The tech left & brought the Rx up a few minutes later. My Rx is for 90 days & they gave me 7 days (they rang this up at 4:14). I was pissed & I let them know it. Told them I wanted the 3 written prescriptions that had not yet been filled. It took 20 minutes for them to give me the written prescriptions. This was 3 visits with 1 of them for 50 minutes to get 7 days of a 90-day prescription. I am 70 years old & have never had this much trouble getting an Rx & I still must return for the 83 days they didn't fill. MORE: Finally got the other 83 capsules on Friday, 3/18 -- a week after I brought in my prescription. read more

So I was trying to buy a PS5 and came in today to try and get one. I was extremely disappointed. I was told by a manager multiple times that they were not doing preorders. I had heard about Sony telling retailers that the console would not be available in stores. I went in to ask the same person. And again they reassured me that they were not doing preorders. So I had no reason to expect they did have them. And then this morning I was told they did have them. Thanks Fred Meyer that was the last time I'll be going in. If you can't be trust worthy when it comes to something simple they I can't trust you when it counts. read more

My only concern with Fred Meyer in Klamath Falls is they do not enforce their disabled parking spaces and in reality is very hard to do. Let the manager know they are helpful. They have 15 spaces as required by law. read more

After retiring from 35 years working in grocery (Safeway, Alpha Beta, Lucky), I feel I'm sort of an expert on supermarkets. And in my opinion, this Fred Meyer is one of the very best in big chain stores. Price-wise, it easily beats the local Safeway and Albertsons. It's well-stocked and clean, and the service is superb. So much of retail is frustrating for customers these days. Not here. Got a problem? They will fix it with a rain check, or substitution, apology, or refund. I've thrown every possible problem at them, and I always walk out satisfied. This is a very well-managed store, and a pleasure to shop at. I guess I'm just prejudiced, I live a half mile from this store and shop here for almost everything I want. Sometimes I come in just for a cup of coffee or a sandwitch and soup. Yeah, sometimes Walmart's prices might be bettter, but believe it or not I've seen Fred's beat the pants off Walmart on several things. If you use their rewards card, and use their credit card, you save big bucks at their fuel pump. On more than one occasion my fuel discount was a buck a gallon off. Shop the sales, and use the coupons, you will save money. I have never ran into an employee in this store that wasn't cheerful, friendly, and helpful. They don't mind if you walk around the perimeter of the store in the winter months for exercise, they might ask you if you need help if you stop to catch your breath... read more

Fred Meyers is a great store to do all your shopping at once! Clothes, auto, garden, food, etc... They have Pete's Coffee, a Deli- Go around 11 to get really fresh lunch, Sushi stand (which by the way, is good fresh. It IS made by a sushi chef right there in the store. Sitting area near the Deli and Pete's coffee to sit down and relax. Very clean, updated interior, friendly staffing and VERY helpful! They carry a great selection of cosmetics and bath products. Their clothing sales are great! They carry great well known brands and even get your size clothes/shoes from another Fred Meyers if this store is sold out. (Don't be shy, just ask!! =) ) They even have DAYCARE so you can shop!!!! This is THE only grocery store I shop at in town. Hit their sales and coupons you can even get better deals than the other local stores. read more

Freddies is a KF institution. The parking lot is always packed. It's one of the only games in town. In spite of that, there is a huge and varied inventory. For instance, there was a better selection of furnace filters at Fred Meyers than at a big nearby hardware store. Produce is OK. Deli items don't always look fresh. Some carts are hard to push and need to be replaced. With KF striving to become a Blue Zone, I wish they would reduce the size of the chips and sodas isles and replace with healthier options. Some of the "health" drinks in the deli case have an appalling amount of sugar (30 grams). Yikes! read more

Outstanding place to do business. Impressive customer service doesn't totally tell the story. I don't think that ONE employee I walked past neglected to greet me, ask how the day was going, smiled, said hello. Some people are apparently still happy to be working - and that's likely a tribute to whatever they have going on at Fred Meyer. We stopped to use the Tesla Supercharger, and went inside. Wow, I'm glad we did. If I lived in that part of the country, I would ONLY do business there. Prices were competitive, selection great, but it was the people there who impressed me the most. I am very super upset because I shop at Fred Meyer almost every day, and I'm not exaggerating, and I decide to buy some groceries like at 9:30 at night I also decided to buy dog food and cat food ,well I decided to buy more expensive dog food the buffalo blue, and I went through and paid for my items at one end of the store and then left at the other end, I was already headed out the door by the salon side and three girls younger we're all chit-chatting at the register next to electronics, one of the girls stopped talking asked me to go over there ,if I was ready to check out I told her I already did, and she said can I see your receipt please ,I said okay I already paid for my stuff ,she said I'm sorry it's just because it's the buffalo blue, I felt like I was being accused of stealing I will for sure call tomorrow morning to complain to the manager ,because I told the manager that was on site tonight and she said I'm sorry we made you feel that way that's about pathetic as pathetic can get I am so Furious. read more

We stopped at Fred Meyer on the way to Crater Lake. It's a huge store that has everything! They have a good selection of fresh produce and meats. It's clean, well-kept, and it has everything that you could want. Fred Meyer also sells gasoline at their gas station at competitive prices. The prices went up on the food so high it is ridiculous. I am not paying 7 dollars for some cookies and 15 dollars for a cheap bottle of vitamin C when i can go to Walmart for under $2. Also the clothes are crazy! They are cheap and mostley ugly but the average cost of a shirt is $50 hahaha yeah right you people are crazy do you know there is a Ross in town??? I tried to buy some simple cheap black slacks one time and they wanted $60! Lol i went to Ross and got better quality for $12. I got my hair done at hair masters in fred meyers. It was the worse experance ever. I was in there for 3 hours and all I wantted was foil blonde highlands.. well it never happened. I always go to this store, and I love it. Not only are the staff nice, they will help you out if you do not have enough money to pay the full amount. They will give you a few pieces of what they have in their pocket to make you satisfied so that you can leave happy. They are always happy here, and I love the prices of the food. My kids love going to this store because they always have free samples laying out. They even have samples for coffee sometimes. This place is cheap, the staff are great, and they have a lot of products. Usually when I go here, it is to look for good deals on chicken. They have one about every week. I do not think that they have ever put out bad food or low quality goods. I got my daughters homecoming dress from here, and it was so cheap and beautiful. i had searched all over town for a dress she would look good in. I went to Ross and found one, but when they rung it up, I asked if I could keep the hanger. The cashier was very snobby over it and refused. I ended up going to Fred Meyer and when I told one of the workers there, she was very insulted about it too. She came back with a Gigantic bag overflowing with clothes hangers and told me that I can have them all for free. I was so happy. This is just another example of why I love this store. read more
