I had forgotten how big and tasty their margaritas (5/5) were. I'm glad I ordered one. I ordered the carne asada (4/5) and my wife got the enchiladas verde (4/5). Their refried beans (5/5) and rice (4/5) that accompanied both our dishes were delicious. Portion sizes are very large so bring your appetite. A signboard at the entrance to the restaurant invites customers to choose a table and then help themselves to chips and salsa. My husband and I split an entrée and it was more then enough for the both of us. Portion sizes are generous. The food was very good. Much better than Casa Ramos or Puerto Vallarta. If you want Mexican food in Mount Shasta, stay away from those chains and go to La Perla for a much better meal at reasonable prices to boot.
