Great food and service. They were very busy and still got to us in a timely manner. We had spit tickets and it wasn't a problem.

This is the best Mexican food I have ever tasted. The Camarones (shrimp) tasted like they were just caught that day. Plentiful portions with all of our orders were had. The Pico de Gallo with avocado was just delicious --so fresh. The Taco Salad was great, as was the enchilada. We will be back! read more

Wow...this is a hidden gem! It's Roger's place--he's a great host and you'll get to meet him when you stop in. It's family-friendly, informal and has the most amazing Mexican food and friendly staff. And maybe you can catch live music in the connected bar area--Mexican and/or a rockin' combo. If you're on the road up from Reno...or if you're in Klamath Falls and having a craving for great Mexican, ya gotta check it out. Or make a detour for it! Check out the Texas dip for an appetizer...you'll be surprised how awesome a creamy salsa is for your chips. My man Myron said this could have been the whole meal and I agree. I had the mariscos on my first visit and that hooked me...awesome spicy hot soup with all the seafood delights and textures with big chunks of cauliflower that sucked up all the mouth-watering flavors. Another time I had the fish tacos...you'd think yeah fish tacos are pretty basic, right? These had a nice buttery sauce with a bit of garlic on the tender juicy fish bits...I didn't want to eat anything for a good while after that because it left such a great taste in my mouth. Friendly little restaurant in Tule Lake. I was driving down from Washington to Reno and this was a great find along my way! Thanks to the Yelpers previously who helped me find it. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Small little restaurant with 10 tables. The burrito had everything in it from rice, beans, sour cream, lettuce, refried beans and tomatoes. Tasted so authentic and fresh. I asked for chips and guac over the phone and I think I agreed to pico and avocado, which was even better than I expected. I've eaten here before but the last time, Friday the 7th, was a disaster. At the time we ordered, my friend was told they were busy and our order wouldn't come up fast. OK. However, the cafe emptied and still no food. I saw the woman behind the counter look out and realize we hadn't been served. She came out and instead of telling us she had forgotten our order, she said she neglected to write it on a ticket and asked for the information again. Soon after my friend's torta arrived. I'd ordered a tostada (how hard is that to make) but I didn't get it until my friend's meal had been completely eaten. I'd have walked out but 1. The meal had been paid for, 2. I was starving and 3. We had four more hours to drive and ordering another meal somewhere else would have taken more time! Finally I was served my tostada. The shell was brown - way overcooked. The chicken was in little weird hard pieces. Definitely not what I had anticipated. Will I be back? Maybe but probably not too soon. I realize "things happen" but be upfront with your customers. I should mention that since we were last here, the A/C was improved and bar space has been added. Business has probably increased since the closure of Captain Jacks. I'm hoping success continues and that other customers don't experience the most recent experience that I had. read more

The young owner Rodger is dedicated to excellent, friendly service and fresh, delicious food. I was in Tulelake for a few days and enjoyed Senior Tequila so much I had to go back. Family run, fresh, and flavorful. I can recommend the chicken enchiladas (with a rich red sauce) and the carne asada plate, thin sliced skirt steak served with rice, beans, salsa, cheese & roasted pepper on request, and a stack of tortillas.
