It doesn't look like much from the outside--or from the inside for that matter, but once that plate of deliciousness gets put in front of you, you will be so happy that you stopped. The food is authentic and tasty, the portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the employees are friendly. This has become our new go-to restaurant on the long drive from Sacramento to Bend. Soooooooo yummy!!!!!

Found this place while passing by on a roas trip. We ordered wet burritos and a dry burrito both carne asada and they hit the spot after days of camp food. Update: the lady who served us worked through Covid and got our child sick. If you stop here wear a mask and don't dine-in.

The service and food was good. We had 4 tacos, the carne asada, and the fried burrito. All were tasty and filling.

Best find...GREAT EXPERIENCE... Was on a mission after working several days in the area yet wanted to seek out new findings, along with a few too many left turns til WahLah found this place.... The surrounding area doesn't have much selections and good food is always miles away... An how can u go wrong with simple street taco style an sopes for a main test... My friend ordered the asada soft taco's aswell, said it was a life saver since we had a tough day of work an didn't want to cook either... Most definitely had to bookmark as a favorite place... Server was really chill an helped with making sure out order was right... Over all had a great experience during my visit look forward to coming back several times over...

We wanted to make reservations for dinner on a Thursday but no one answered the phone. We decided to head over to the restaurant a few minutes before we planned to dine with friends only to discover they weren't open and a hand lettered writing on the door said they were closed Thursdays and Sundays. We did return the next evening, now knowing that they would be open on Friday. The restaurant shares an entryway with a popular bar. It was amusing watching people enter the main door and then turn one way or the other to enter a business, only to realize they want the other door. I saw a few families with little kids start towards the bar and then turn to the restaurant. Groups in motorcycle jackets did the reverse. A signboard at the entrance to the restaurant invites customers to choose a table and then help themselves to chips and salsa. My husband and I split an entrée and it was more then enough for the both of us. Portion sizes are generous. The food was very good. Much better than Casa Ramos or Puerto Vallarta. If you want Mexican food in Mount Shasta, stay away from those chains and go to La Perla for a much better meal at reasonable prices to boot. We enjoyed the background music, with songs from the likes of Fleetwood Mac, Paul Simon, The Proclaimers.

What a gem in Klamath Falls - Excellent service, food and ambience!…read more Decided to have dinner at 7:30pm on Sunday night; Girasol is located at the southern end of "restaurant row/main street." Quiet background music lends to the friendly atmosphere, enhancing the Hispanic decor. Crispy warm chips with beans and salsa were brought out immediately. Our server took our drink orders, and had them at the table within 5 minutes. The margaritas we ordered were delicious, and generously sized. Our server answered our menu questions so we could decide on our meal. We decided to try the albóndigas and side salad to start, and split the Fajitas Gigante. Albóndigas comes in 1 size, approximately 12 oz of a tasty tomato based broth and 4 hand-formed meatballs, roughly 1.5 inches in diameter. There were carrots, too, but no other vegetables. I'm used to a heartier version from a different region, so for me, the soup was unexpected. The broth and meatballs had a very nice flavor, though, so still worth a taste! The side salad consisted of chopped iceberg, some tomato, and shredded cheese. It was bigger than I anticipated, so that was a pleasant surprise! The fajitas came out on a sizzling, cast iron platter, looking and smelling amazingly good! I'm sorry I forgot to take a photo. My husband and I split a single order, and ended up bringing half of it back to the hotel. It tasted delicious. Everything was well seasoned, though the carnitas was a little too wet for my liking. (It was more like a pulled pork sandwich consistency, without any smoke bark.) That's just a personal preference, though. What was so great about the platter was that each protein had a distinct flavor! I've had mixed protein platters where everything tastes like it was seasoned with the same bottle of pre-mixed spices, and this is NOT that. The carnitas was subtle, and contrasted with the steak, which differed from the chicken. The shrimp was different from all of it, with more of a citrus and garlic profile. We were too full to order dessert, so we'll have to return on our next road trip!

Extensive menu with lots of options to satisfy anyone's cravings. Yummy chips with salsa and bean dip were served with our beverages. Only real miss of our visit was the fairly terrible iced tea my husband ordered, but they made it right by removing it from our check and replacing it with a tall glass of ice water. I enjoyed a Modelo Especial chelada style in a chilled glass. ¡Perfecto! He ordered creamy enchiladas and I opted for a mixed ceviche tostada and chicken flautas. Everything was delicious and plentiful enough that we took leftovers to go and enjoyed them for dinner once we got home. Will gladly return whenever I find myself back in K Falls!
