This was a really decent Mexican place near my place on the beach. We were a table of four and the highlight was the birria tacos with fantastic dipping juice. The fajita combo and burrito were also flavorful and I would recommend that anyone near the beach come get ya some and you won't be disappointed. Our waitress was excellent and she even brought out a couple of samples of sauces for us to try at no cost. I will say that the lighting was a little bright and I prefer a little more ambiance in the evening, so please dim them down just a little bit to enhance the experience of the guests. read more

Wow. A surprising place. Almost all Mexican restaurants I go to around the country are great but a very few are not. This was maybe the most pointless place to go to. I arrived right at 12:30 and 40 minutes later my simple order was given even though there was not many people in there to hold the restaurant up. Also those chips and salsa were serious maybe raw or old. I've never had a chip that yucky. When my simple easy order of tacos finally showed up the corn taco holder was old and yucky too. Then I took a bite but the flavor of the tacos was actually pretty gross too. Food is great! We had a few hiccups this trip: Miguel was quite busy so we did not get to have the "Birthday song" for my SIL. I recommended this restaurant based on our previous visits sadly tonight it seemed like my party was a bother. We have been there when it was packed - stellar customer service. We have a favorite Mexican restaurant in Myrtle Beach, but this one was closer, so we gave it a shot. Our server and bartender were very friendly. Their menu was SO limited. There were very few entrees under $20. We shelled out $36 for two top shelf margaritas that were slightly larger than a martini glass. It was a good margarita, but certainly not worth the price. It looked like your typical Mexican restaurant, bright and cozy. My husband got a beef taco salad. It was small, but he liked it. I got a chicken fajita quesadilla with rice and beans. There was a decent amount of chicken, but hardly any veggies other than big hunks of green peppers. My food was just OK. We will stick to the Mexican restaurant we know. read more

Loved it! Service was quick and friendly. Cute decorations and fun music. My husband really wanted good beef tongue tacos and they had them - excellent. I had the Little of Everything, was a little disappointed all of the dishes were ground beef. I would have liked some chicken, but maybe my fault, I didn't ask. We both liked the rice and beans. Great waiter very nice, bilingual, well mannered but, never removed the plates from the table even after paying and stacking the plates to signal that they were ready to be removed. This is strictly about service not the food. The shredded chicken there is the best I've had since I moved from California 3 years ago. I ordered my usual chicken nachos with all the fixings and they came out with no cheese I told the waitress that there was no cheese and she said she would bring me out some cheese sauce. Now I don't know about you but that's going to mess up the whole composition of the nacho. I don't want to pour hot cheese on my cool pico! Here's where I have a little blame, I got mad when she said no she couldn't do that and I said are you fu... kidding me? I said I would like to speak to a manager and she said she was the manager. I said I'd like them taken off of my bill and she refused. I was getting really heated now and that was warranted but my mom reminded me that I just landed after 3 flights on a red eye. I said you know what I apologize I'm really tired and I shouldn't have cussed at you. She then told me the chef actually put the cheese on the chips but it had soaked in. AWESOME authentic Mexican restaurant. Visiting Myrtle Beach and was looking for a good authentic Mexican restaurant comparable to our favorite back home. VERY pleased when we visited this one- a close contender to our home restaurant. Right off the bat, friendly staff. Bus boy brought our chips and greeted with a nice smile. Server came to the table with a bouncy and smiley personality. Drinks stayed full, chips replenished quickly, food brought out fast. Service was beautiful. We are big fans of white queso and could not get enough here! Huge fans of the chips as well, they were warm when they arrived at our table and tasted fresh as could be. Portions are large- you are getting your money's worth here. The chicken quesadillas were LOADED with chicken. Our server was helpful in drink selection as well. My little brothers whom have sensory processing issues can't really eat anything else but we altered because they had to eat. The food tasted like chef Mike made it (microwave) and the tortillas were bland, they put pepper in the pico de gallo which ruined the dish, don't get me wrong the place itself was nice it was visually appealing and the servers were great but the food was mediocre at best, steak was dry and it seems like the rice was instant rice, I don't think anything was made fresh they also didn't add any ice to my mother in laws michelada . The food was just ok, but service was poor: server forgot the margaritas, no lettuce/tomato/sour cream/guac with fajitas which I'm not sure if it just doesn't come with or they forgot them, got my kids side wrong, server forgot my credit card when he returned the paid check and we had to track him down to find it (he eventually did), and there was a fly buzzing around the whole time. I like the ambiance, bright, colorful and decorated with Mexican decor. I ordered a house margarita, they use vodka instead of tequila. I ordered the Carne Asada plate. The atmosphere of this place is out of this world and it makes you feel like your in their culture! The food there is very juicy, tender, and flavorful.
