Let's start with one of the (few) good things about this place. The chicken in my dish tasted wonderful. Everything else, however, was pretty crap. Rice was bland, cheese dip tasted awful, and my partner's chimichanga was more vegetable than meat, and what little chicken there was did not taste very good. It was very empty for being 6pm, and now I can see why. The service itself was decent until we were finished, and we had to wait a decent while for the check. Check came out to 48 dollars without tip, incredibly overpriced for subpar food with fairly small portions. Will not be coming back, and would not recommend. read more

Had dinner at this restaurant last night- steak Mexicano. The fish arrived after the other 8 people in my party had already been served. I ate maybe 4-5 bites of food and it tasted like crap! I'm just being checked out of the hospital due to food poisoning. I started pulling about 5 min after leaving the restaurant. The meal gave me an overnight stay in the hospital. Additionally, the restaurant is just plan dirty - I should have walked out after viewing the lack of decoration and cleanliness of the place! Bottom line, while the rest of the party ate their food without incident (I was the only one who ordered steak), no one really enjoyed their meal. Stay away from this joint - there are plenty of other restaurants to go to. read more

After a long 9 1/2 hour drive from NJ, we were hungry. My daughter (17) wanted Mexican. We looked up a few spots and decided to come here. We were seated right away, but it was busy. There were about 5 tables no cleaned yet. The menu was quite large sp we asked our server to take our drink order amd come back (twice). We settled on our options. And they were both delicious. I had a California burrito and my daughter had steak and shrimp with rice. The chips and salsa were great too. We did order cheese for the chips and he forgot about them. Went to lunch here based on the Yelp recommendations of 4 stars +. We started with the guacamole which was very bland. We added some salsa (which was good) and salt and that took care of it. I ordered carne asada and my wife had Pollo ala Mexicana. The beef was tasty but a little gristly. The rice and the pico were tasty but the beans were not hot. My wife's chicken was tasty but the same thing with the beans. We talked to the waitress about the beans but all we got was, "oh really?" Lunch was $50 with sodas. We had a small family reunion at one of the local resorts. We were 12 deep...and just showed up with no advanced warning. It was obvious that they weren't used to parties that size and definitely weren't ready for us. The fact that they were able to accommodate us was awesome. Do you know the probability of 12 people enjoying the food at any restaurant? I don't either, but they knocked it out of the park. I loved it even though I had mad plate envy (you know when you order something, but your mate's food comes out looking better?) for just about everyone around me. If there is any negative, it would be attributed to the size of party and the difficulty of feeding that large of a party. And they didn't even add gratuity...but we made sure we took care of them.
