Food was served hot and exactly as described. My o ly complain it was a little salty. Otherwise, it was very good. Margaritas was spot on. Service was excellent. I would recommend. read more

Very good service & food. I will be back here! Anyone know where i can find coupons ? Lol !

The best ACP in the Myrtle Beach area (that I've tried) but only because no other Mexican restaurant in the area seasons their chicken!! Sadly, they do charge $20 for ACP which feels like robbery. read more

Went here to celebrate my birthday. I ordered Arroz Marinero. Seafood mixed with rice. Very good. Only complaint is salad came dry. I know from the past if you order sour cream they charge $1.50 so I ate it dry. If El Patio is reading, offer a dressing. All restaurants do. My husband had Chile Colorado. He is very critical when eating out & enjoyed it this time & last. Everything from food to drink is reasonably priced. read more

El Patio - Seafood & rice. Dry lettuce with avocado & a halepeno. - Mexican Near Me - Conway, South Carolina

The Guacamole was amazing, and the fajitas and mango quesadilla were soooo good! Highly recommended.

We had a terrible meal here, and a terrible experience. The food is bland, even the salsa was mediocre. Decent quantity but quality isn't there. Gave my debit card to pay, they said there was a connection error and they tried several times. They said my card was no good. I tried to explain that "connection" error is not my card but they did not believe me. Tried with a second card and the same thing happened. Then it happened with another customer's card. I said see? Not my card. I gave them cash, which I had by luck, I rarely carry much cash. The waiter took it and never came back with my change. I had to go track him down and ask where is my change? He said, I kid you not, "oh, I didn't think you wanted it back." I'll never set food in this awful place again. read more

Such high hopes, but I ended up being disappointed. The service was good, but the food was so-so. Nothing to write home about or to rave on Yelp about. My main complaint, I am a vegetarian and I got a chile poblano with just cheese. No mention on the menu, but they charged me more to have NO meat. It just doesn't make sense. Woman at the front said they have no control over it because that is what is programmed in the computer. I told her I wouldn't be returning and just shrugged her shoulders. read more

Authentic people but not authentic food. You can definitely tell the beans are from can. The tortillas aren't authentic either. The service was good and the restaurant is very cute but that's all o can say about that. read more

If I can give less than this I would. They can't even make 2 simple tacos. The cheese frozen solid, watery and flour tortillas that are so soaked that everything falls apart. Our server could care less. She wasn't concerned at all when we brought up the problem and then she didn't come back to the table for the longest time when made aware of the problem. So my wife can't flower tortilla mine was actually OK. I have an issue with mine at all or Server could care less. There is a Mexican restaurant up the street called Taco Bell. I don't eat fast food but this place has me considering it read more

Food was great! I got the beef taco salad and the flavor of the meat was incredible. Which is embarrassing to say about ground beef. But I said what I said! Going to hit this place on the way back home again! read more

Note this review stand between 4-3 stars. First time here on Wednesday July 9th 2025 with my parents. We decided to try a mexican place, and this is near us. There is parking available in the parking lot, and we parked there. Small tho, and small place inside too. Although has some old games near the host stand, and the restrooms. The place itself is small and has mostly tables and some booths. We were greeted at the host stand and was immediately seated for a party of 3. We immediately got free chips and salsa, which were good. Our waitress came over immediately, and started us with 3 waters. We needed like a lot of time looking over the menus since it was our first time here. Which was okay with the server, who gave us the time, however since it was our first time, she should have recommended her favorite dish here. They have anything from enchidalas, burritos, tacos, chicken, steak, even some fish menu options! Anyways, after a while, we decided what we wanted- I got the pollo loco with light cheese, My dad got the same thing but with no mushrooms. My Mom got the Yolanda. Food came out in a timely manner. When i tasted my pollo loco, I did not like it at all. The vegetables in the dish tasted roasted, and some of them were very roasted like overly roasted. I also am not a fan of roasted vegetables. The waitress did check on us, but didn't seem concerned that i didn't like my dish, and i'm not one to send food back. Also i don't think it said roasted vegetables on the menu either. My dad however liked his, and my mom liked hers. I even liked it as my mom shared his dish with me. tender meat in the Yolanda dish. Would have been even better if the server asked if I wanted something else! Anyways, enjoyed the yolanda dish at least. Got a box for my pollo loco which my mom ate. Then we paid the check with a credit card and left a cash tip. Maybe we'll be back, and I can try something else.. or order the yolanda for myself! Oh, after our visit, we used the restrooms, which were clean! read more

Prices a little high for the portion sizes. Food was average. Drinks were good though.

I was cautious about this place due to rating however we ordered a bit of everything and really liked it. Guacamole and salsa was great. Taquitos quesadilla chimis...APC all really good. The rice was good even tho I don't like corn in my rice. It was very cheap for two people who ordered multiple dishes and ordering online was nice. Definitely adding this to my rotation. Idk why people say it's not good because it really was and I don't like most Mexican places. read more

Loved the food . But couldn't get any service . I get that it got busy . But the server made no apologies and couldn't make eye contact .

My fav Mexican place!! Great food! Nice people! Good pricing! Even the parking lot smells good when you get out of your car.

bring a translator ... went thru 4 servers and 2 managers before one that could understand English ... food was meh

Food was good. Ample seating, shouldn't have to wait long for a table. Food was good. Service quick and efficient.

Brian was our server and he was very attentive. He kept the chips, salsa and drinks coming. We had the queso which was very good. We also had some tortilla soup and the taco plates. Everything was fresh, hot and tasty. We'll be back! read more

Both food and service were lacking. Our waiter could not have been more unenthused. My dude needed a shot of red bull straight into the vein or something because I was convinced he was going to fall asleep standing up. Legend has it he's still there, lingering around the back corner booth waiting to take your order. read more

I walked from the closest hotel next door, I had taken a Uber to. Maybe 1/2 mile. Ordered fajitas to go as it was near closing. Food was packed at closing and seemed complete. Walked back and discovered no tortillas. They were closed but did answer. I asked if anyone would bring tortillas. Make it right. They said no. To me, it was an easy ask. I won't go back. Know many people at CCU. Won't recommend. Lazy. read more

Would not recommend El Patio. Recently had a bad experience. They had a very large group of men throwing ice cubes in the bar. Only hit once. Music was so loud it hurt your eardrums. Food was cold. The topper was going to my car only to find someone had vomited on my car and spot. Won't be back. On top of that someone threw up on my car. read more

BLUF: pretty much like 90% of the Mexican restaurant Define across the country. A few high spots and a few low spots average out Three of us went for dinner on a Friday night. The place was about two-thirds full. We waited I think a little longer than we should have to first be seen, but once we were our waitress was generally very attentive. The chips that you get with your meal certainly seemed like store bought chips to me, and the salsa seemed the same although it was still quite tasty. We ordered the carne asada, Cozumel salad, and chicken tacos. The tacos were very average, with what was clearly pre-made taco shells. One of the tacos was very scantily filled. The salad was actually pretty good with the shrimp nicely seared on top. The downside of the salad is that you only have a choice of what are clearly bottled dressings. A nice fresh lemon dressing would have spiced it up perfectly. As for the carne asada, the meat itself was very good. But they were kind of sparse in the grilled onions given with it, and the rice was very very bland. It's also the only time in a Mexican restaurant where I've actually been served sliced pickled carrots as part of a meal. Not sure how that was supposed to fit in. The carne asada meal included avocado as well, but all I got was one very thin small slice. I would think at least three slices would be decent for a meal. We got a fried plantain appetizer that was actually very tasty, with a nice crisp on the plantains. The restrooms were relatively clean, but not as clean as I would expect in a restaurant. As mentioned our server was quite friendly, but the person who brought our food basically threw it on the table to the extent that it actually bounced and slid across the table, then just took off. read more

My first visit to El Patio was quite good even though the sides, like rice and beans, lack any flavor. Went back for a second, and my last, time today. The burritos and quesadillas were underwhelming with little to no flavor. The refried beans were like soup- didn't find any beans!?!? And the rice tasteless. Being from Texas, I have significantly lower expectations here in the Grand Strand but I will not be back to El Patio. Service was attentive! read more
