The food was alright, but we saw an advertisement on the TV that said you could get a free dessert for leaving a review. When we asked about it, the employee told us no. We arrived a little after 8 PM on a Thursday night, the restaurant was open but not many patrons. Great environment on the inside music and televisions were a little bit noisy for my taste. We were a group of six and attended to very quickly, the ladies in our group praised their drinks and said they were delicious. I had the sweet tea which was very sweet. The prices on the menu were altered by stickers I guess by price changes. The street corn appetizer was not what i expected in flavor and barely had any char on the corn to enhance the flavor. For my main meal I had the shredded beef quesadillas and the chicken nachos. The shredded beef was not seasoned all that well and there was more veggies than meat and cheese on the nachos... With all that being said and it was not a bad experience the check was the most disappointing part we saw no signs of tip being included with the bill and if we did it would not have been an issue, but when the bills were given to us there was a red stamp on it saying that the tip was automatically included. I KNOW THAT THE WAITRESS WOULD HAVE RECEIVED MORE MONEY IN HERE POCKET IF WE WERE ALLOWED TO GIVE HER OUR CASH. Overall we were just visiting the area which we do quite often but unfortunately we probably will not return to this restaurant. read more

Just tried Fajitas for the first time and I'm seriously impressed. I ordered the Steak King Burrito and it was massive and honestly the best burrito I've ever had. My friend got the chile relleno and said it was absolutely awesome. Also, shoutout to the homemade salsa that comes with the chips. Super fresh and full of flavor. Definitely coming back! read more

There were several issues. First the place was kind of cramped and it didn't feel like they were doing much of anything to help prevent Covid. But I don't base my reviews on Covid since I try to make my reviews primarily about food and service. Neither were very good. The place was packed but, there's got to be a clock in the waitresses head telling them we were unattended for far too long. We ordered drinks and cheese dip. After she came back again and was reminded of our drinks the second time, she arrived without cheese dip. By now it had been 20 minutes or so and we were wondering if the dip was coming at all. We had already ordered our entrees by the time the cheese dip finally arrived on the third try, minutes before our meals came out. The cheese dip was actually really good, and probably the saving grace of the meal, but it was incredibly small, especially considering that the dip only comes in one size. The cheese dip had to be good to compensate for the very cold and tasteless chips. I'm generally pretty lenient about chips, but these were so cold that they felt like they came out of the refrigerator. I understand that it's busy, but they should have a fresh supply of chips churning out constantly. The second batch were a little better, but still mediocre at best. My dad ordered the fajita nachos, and I decided to go the less expensive route and just order shredded chicken nachos. I was surprised and confused to find that wehad been charged the same amount for both. Literally, I got a smaller portion of nachos with no peppers or onions and we both got charged the same amount. I don't know if it was lazy or if they just charge a universal price for all nachos, but it kind of seemed like a rip off to pay the amount that I did for chicken, cheese, and more chips. The portion was decent, but it was very skimpy when it came to the chicken, which was especially noticeable in my dad's nachos that were almost entirely peppers and onions. Overall I was very disappointed, especially seeing some of the reviews on here. There was another place nearby that was a lot higher rated but it was only pickup, making this one of the only game in town that was sit down. We saw a lot of great places in Myrtle Beach to eat, and this was our one disappointment. Definitely will not be back. read more

The chicken was thin land dry and disgusting. My grandson ordered chicken wings as well as my grand daughter. They only had enough wings for one order so my daughter told them that he could eat some of her food. They brought him a whole dish of what she ordered. In town on vacation and thought we'd try a little Mexican food. Multiple places to choose from but this one wasn't too far from where we were at the time. Had I not had the directions on, I would've drove right by it. It's in a small strip of shops that appear mostly Latino owned. Looks a bit like a dive from the outside but the inside is quite nice. Most of the patrons were Latino so I figured it would be very authentic. When we got in, we were unsure if we should seat ourselves or wait, but shortly the waitress grabbed menus, walked up to us and asked if we spoke Spanish. My husband told her a little and she motioned for us to wait a minute. She then went to fetch someone who spoke better English for us gringos LOL. The food was good. Definitely not the Americanized version where everything is loaded down with cheese, sour cream and guacamole - no disrespect, i love that stuff too! My husband got a grilled chicken salad and he raved about the chicken. I liked that it had avocado slices in it because hubby doesn't like avocado so i got those. I went with the fajita quesadilla with rice and salad. If you're looking for the cheese laden, thick flour tortilla quesadillas you will be disappointed. But if you're looking for something tasty and lighter, its definitely one to get. Portions were huge. We both got 2 meals out of it. Overall, gave it 4 stars because the service was a little slow - though I think that was probably due to the language barrier. read more

The only reason I am giving one star is because the food was amazing so the chef knows what he is doing. The server was so rude and did NOT listen to anything we had to say. When taking our order, she slammed her note pad by every one of us and acted like we were stupid for simple requests. Also, she was sitting in the corner along with the rest of the servers eating fast food while we were left waiting for drinks, chips, etc. Overall, the food was amazing but if you get this server, GOOD LUCK having a good and pleasant time. A real sleeper. Fajitas is authentic Mexican. A few observations... bigger restaurant than you think from the view on the street... interior is cute... clean... festive. Food is excellent. Mole sauce is as good as any on the beach, including La Poblanita, which is the standard bearer on the Strand. One nice thing is that Fajitas serves beer, wine, etc which La Poblanita does not. Having only eaten here once... the jury is still out but Fajitas was a pleasant surprise. Will definitely try it again. read more

As we ordered, we were not informed by the server that the chicken enchiladas came in only 4 and not 1. When the food came out, we received 4 enchiladas instead of 1. We asked for the server to take the food back and asked for the bill. She wouldn't do so and brought the check with the 4 enchiladas on the bill after we did not touch the food and asked to take the food back. As I was checking out, she asked the manager that if she could take the enchiladas off the bill and he told her through the kitchen that she cannot since the food wasn't taken back after the first few minutes it was on the table. He would not come out of the kitchen to resolve the issue. I have served and understand what they are doing here. The server did not hardly visit the table to where I could return the food in time so that I would have to pay for it. I unfortunately had to pay for the food that I didn't want nor touch. The first visit was good, On the second visit I ordered chicharrones. The pork was raw as in 100% uncooked. The chicharrones I came to love in New Mexico, Mexico, Texas, and other places used fried fatback or bacon, etc. They were then served with delicious sauces. I want to be fair. I just searched the internet for chicharrones recipies. I looked at 10 recipes like Emeril Lagasse, yummly, serious eats, etc. ALL recipies tell you to fry the pork.
