Limited parking in front but I believe there was side parking as well. The name of the restaurant is not the comadres taqueria it's been updated to Santa Barbara Mexican restaurant. There's 9 tables and booths. Place is very clean and they have a small tv by bar. We ordered our food and got a cheese pupusa, steak Gordita, torta cubana, steak torta, barbacoa burrito and steak dinner. The pupusa was good but wished they had more options. The steak Gordita was the best thing here only thing that be better if they used melted cheese inside instead of cotija cheese. The torta cubana was okay the bread is way too doughy and they cheap out on ingredients. The steak torta something with the bread way too doughy they're better using a telera. The steak inside there was weird. Barbacoa burrito was good needs ingredients inside of it not on the plate. The steak dinner was okay the meat should have been a skirt steak but it look dry and not tender. They have a lot of Mexican pop to choose from and Mexican beer. They also offer a bar. They don't have horchata water only Jamaica water. The service was not that great. Our waitress was very quiet I could barely hear her. I recommend getting different cheese and bread and you have a great spot.

Very small place with awesome, flavorful food. Tacos were very satisfying. Highly recommended stop.

It's authentic Mexican so don't expect chips served at the table. Lamb tacos and pineapple water are incredible!!!!

note about the review: visiting from Chicago for a quick ocean vacation to Myrtle Beach... The tacos are amazing! We had asada, barbacoa, Al pastor, chorizo, and carnitas. The tortillas were homemade and fresh. The meat was delicious and tender, not too fatty, even a little crispy on the edges. We ordered a mango water based on reviews here. It was large and refreshing. Chips and salsa were free and excellent. Not busy for a Monday at lunch, which is surprising. Not far from the beach I thought it would be busier with beach traffic. Low prices, great music, an awesome dining experience. If we come back to Myrtle Beach, we would definitely come here again.

Besides Taco Bell I have always wanted to try authentic Mexican food. I am the type of person who likes to see some pictures to guide me through especially when it comes to trying a new place. Our waitress was so sweet and help guided me through certain things I had question about. She even gave recommendations on drinks. Try the pineapple water and the pineapple jaritas. This place is small and not much parking but is totally worth it!

Parking is on the side of the building.

We had chorizo tacos and papusas. So good! Taco Tuesday is an incredible deal. Friendly staff. Excellent food! Highly recommended. Will return again.

My family went looking for a restaurant around 11am. Everything was full and we typed in "tacos" on maps and this place was the first one to pop up. It was full, but we managed to grab a seat and we were greeted by the friendly young waiter. She was hands down the nicest person I've ever met. I ordered tacos de asada and a cheese pulpusa and they were delicious. The tortillas were hand made, the carne asada was so warm and good, you could tell the pulpusas were freshly made. Everything about this place was so awesome. We ran into the owner of the place and she was really friendly too. I recommend this place! Great service, great food!

The second half of my burrito (I scarfed down the first half before I thought to take a picture).

However, now that we've gone multiple times i can confidently say it is rather inconsistent. Sometimes your burrito is swimming in an amazing cover of cheese and sometimes is a little more than a drizzle. This latest time something must have been a little off because my tried and true Al Pastor burrito came with 95% rice inside... I don't think I saw any beans and only a few pieces of meat. Again - this is not the norm and my great experiences outweighed this last visit, but consistency in the long run will be important. I'd also agree with the reviews saying they like to charge for upsells and they are pretty good at pushing them. I love their house hot sauce but paying a dollar for hot sauce at a Mexican restaurant seems a bit absurd... Overall worth a try and we will continue coming back but there is some fine tuning for management!

I subtracted two stars because on each of my trips here, the service has pretty much sucked. Both times our party was basically totally forgotten about...no refills on chips or waters and we had to go off elsewhere inside to flag someone down simply to get and then pay our bill. Unfortunately, this consistent shoddy service keeps me from returning in the future. Oh well, lots of other happy hours in Myrtle to enjoy, like Sol y Luna in Carolina Forest.

In researching local restaurants, I read a review that stated they had never had a bad meal in…read moretheir life (?) before this and gave this place 2 stars because the chips and salsa were good. I dismissed that review because I couldn't comprehend NEVER having a bad meal before. Come to find out...that review was spot on! After being seated, we were served chips and salsa. The chips were atypical; thicker than a traditional tortilla chip, but good. The salsa was also different, but delicious. We each ordered the beef chimichangas. Our server was not fluent enough to tell us if it was steak or ground beef and the menu didn't list the options either. Our meals were served with beans and rice on the side. The beans were cold and the rice extremely hot with an unpalatable seasoning that I couldn't identify. The chimichangas had a protein that wasn't ground beef, wasn't steak and wasn't good. It was a weird texture, unlike any beef I've ever had. My first bite was filled with gristle and difficult to chew. The second bite was filled with that odd textured "beef". The third bite was again all gristle and I was all done. I couldn't bring myself to take a fourth bite. Overall it was a terrible meal. On top of that we were charged a 4% for using our credit card. I know this is becoming more commonplace, but it wasn't stated on the menu and definitely not mentioned by the server. Also 4% is on the high side. This Desayundador is NO Buenos!
