I absolutely love this restaurant, food is absolutely amazing. I also had the el patio sangria, it was very delicious.

Great food & service. We have been eating there every week for the last several years. Very Reasonable in price. read more

I moved to Myrtle Beach from Los Angeles, home of the best Mexican food in the world. I tried a few local spots and found that it was primarily tex-mex and then discovered El Patio! I love their carnitas (Ask for lime and verde sauce on the side), delicious! The shrimp fajitas were fresh and sizzling. The tacos are yummy and the meat is nicely seasoned and doesn't taste like Taco Bell. The wait staff is friendly and the owner is involved with our local schools. So happy to support this business and I'll be back again soon! read more

The food was delicious! I ordered the Santa Fe special and we also ordered Chicken Popeye & lunch fajita! The servers were friendly & professional...service was on point! We'll definitely be back! read more

The service is quick and it's around the corner from my work and it was a nice presentation

We visited many times over the years. Their food and service never disappoint! Some of the best steak fajita ever!

This was our first time trying this restaurant. Our server Chuck was extremely friendly and professional, we enjoyed his service and positive attitude. I ordered the chicken quesidillas and my daughter ordered the Vegetarian B combo. The food came out quickly and my chicken quesidillas barely had chicken in them. My daughters meal was soggy and the beans were awful. We couldn't eat the meal that's how awful it was. It was the WORST mexican food we've ever had. We let our server Chuck know and he kindly got his manager. The manager came to the table and advised us he would take the food off of the bill, his tone had a slight attitude and he didn't seem happy with us that we were unhappy with our food. I will never come here again because the food just was not good at all. read more

Great service tasty food I must go to! The restaurant has nice ambience and a good staff. The food was fresh hot and served quickly.

This is a great eatery for quick accurate service. We have never been disappointed with the experience: friendly, kind staff, great food and a nice atmosphere. read more

The food was very good and the service was excellent. Loved the outdoor seating but forgot to ask about the fireplace they have out there. For the price you get very large portions, in fact I very rarely have enough to take leftovers, but from this place I did. The fajitas were very good and come with plenty of meat/veggies to fill you up. I felt for the size of the menu they had a fair amount of vegetarian options and they were even able to accommodate a gluten free diet. If you're near campus and want a great place to get some Mexican food and a few drinks this is definitely not a bad spot to check out. read more

The food here hasn't fail my yet. Of course this is American Mexican and not authentic Mexican food. But it's close.

Chuck is the best server we've ever had at El Patio. We request him every time. Never gets our orders wrong and remembers what we each like for our drinks. The owner is always on premise and is super nice as well. They're pretty good about getting orders right, I think we've only had one mix with our orders here and we've been here over a dozen times already. My favorite is their shrimp fajitas, they do special on Tuesday I believe, where they take a couple of dollars off the price for a fajita. I do take out orders from here as well. They don't deliver but grubhub does. The only thing Lacking here is a veterans a discount. read more

New to the area and trying new spots when possible. Have been here twice in 2.5 weeks because the food is so good. Mini chimichangas are to die for. This will be one of my regular spots. read more

After reading reviews we vistied with frineds. I got my order first, the last member of our party did not get his order till everyone had finished. 3 of the orders were wrong and were sent back. We spoke to the manager and the waiter wanted to argue about his poor service. Either he didn't understand, did not listen (likely) or did not care. The food was ok but not that special but the service was so bad, I know 7 local Gringo's that will never go back there. read more

Excellent, authentic Mexican food. The restaurant was busy so service was a little slow, but everyone was friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back. read more

Stopped here one day on our vacation for lunch. It was just okay......Hubby's lunch was quite "cheap" looking...meaning not much to it but....probably won't go here again if visiting (try another Mexican place next time). read more

Disappointed. We just relocated here from NJ, my wife and I were in the mood for some Mexican food and El Patio was close by so we figured that we would give it a try. Sorry to say I would not recommend nor would I go back. Where are the spices?? the food was bland and lacked flavor odd for a Mexican place. read more

Workers are very kind & prompt to get food out. Prices are good but quality was okay.

The food is always good and Lupe the bartender is great and usually eat in there. He is always attentive and remembers what you like and drink. read more

Was looking forward to eating here, but what a huge disappointment. The Peach sangria was delicious but it stopped there. Chips were stale & had oily smell, salsa was mostly ketchup I think. Guacamole was not house made, nachos was chips, ground beef, & cheese whiz. Needless to say, we will not be Update: someone left me a message calling my review fake- how dare you tell me what my opinion shd be about my dining experience. That's what Yelp is for, if you love this place, then leave your review, but don't attack me for giving my opinion. I've had excellent Mexican food many times, especially living in TX, and this place deserves the 1 star in my opinion. read more

Unfortunately I have to be honest and say the quality and the service has gone down. Several items were not available off the menu and the service left a lot to be desired. She didn't check on us very much and refills were not easy to come by. read more

Just moved here from Ohio. First place we decided to eat that was researched using this app. Not sure what you people consider "Good food" here in SC, but this was garbage. Tres leches was rotten... like sour. Plantains were rotten and everything tasted like burnt dirty skillet. Wasn't even disappointed just disgusted. Carnitas tacos were solid though. Overall score: Hot trash read more

This is by far THE BEST Mexican food I have had. Seriously. The Tengo Hambre is absolutely DELICIOUS. I always order to go and their portions are HUGE. Their to go containers are spot on, never any spillage and always hot when I get it delivered. read more

I'm sorry, but this place should be closed down. This is the worst mexican food or any food I've ever ate. The soup was disgusting, chips are trash, shrimp tacos were horrid. Nachos???? WTH are those??? So expensive just to be thrown out. Will never come back. read more

Bland. Nothing we ordered was impressive, nor were the chips and salsa. Then they had a communication error with their credit card transactions, which they passed off as customer's cards being the issue. The topper: the waiter didn't bring me my change. When I asked about it he said "I didnt think you wanted it back." I wish I was joking. read more

This place is a joke. I've eaten there once, the buffet is disgusting. Tried to eat there again, over 45 mi items to my order that would be a "few" minutes. I know there busy with this pandemic and all, but when I asked how much longer I was told I can wait or leave. I left. read more

I love the Sunday buffet! The price keeps increasing but to be expected. One of the most authentic places to go for Mexican food. I am used to Tex-Mex so it's almost impossible to find authentic Mexican food here. Great place!! read more

One of the few Mexicans restaurants that have actually impressed me with spice. Wonderful menu with reasonable pricing. The California burrito was huge and enough for 2/3 people but still only 11.50. Will be going back to this place often! Plus... the margaritas were strong and cheap read more

This is one of the worst customer service experiences we have ever had. To walk in a restaurant were a server was having lunch at a table and another person behind the bar with out uniform and not one person greeted us. This was just the beginning. We sat at bar for 5 minutes. No one came to take order. We had decided at that time to leave. When a server came in with old chips in a basket and said he did not know we were their because he could not see us. Takes a order, leaves someone else comes with food. And the server was never seen again. Until he brought us the check. We will never come back to this establishment. read more

HO HO HO mexican gods of the couples review *peep our page send a request* we ate here of a super crazy busy night and let me tell you.. in a covid pandemic don't 1) be rude to the employees and 2) complain about the wait ted talk!!... now the important stuff the food and chips are amooooooooosingly delicious. The staff should all get pay raises for 1) be awesome 2) the rude entitled people who come here. The burrito is about the size of the ice glacier that took down the titanic. My moose was hooving the heck out of her chimichanga and it was making me feel so type of way. Would come here numerous times in the future as its a beautiful place..... the drinks LOONEY TUNEY KERMIT ROONEY read more

Honestly, a lot of people seem to like this place so maybe my review is bias, but from the two times I went within the last three years, I still rate this place my worst dinner since I came to SC. The servers seem relatively decent and polite, except the food to me has been horrid both times. The first time was bad enough that I walked out mid meal feeling disgusting. The second time I ordered guac and got some liquid substance that instantly told me it was going to be a rough time. I went with friends so I chose to tolerate it. My main dish was one of the enchilada dishes which also seemed very watery and "moist" not in a good way. It was literally dripping like water or something and falling apart soggy by my second bite. I decided to get a passion fruit mojito pitcher to increase my mood, and it was extremely sweet, thick, and had no taste of alcohol. The nail in the coffin was when I got the bill and found out the pitcher alone costed an astounding 68$ yet there was nothing impressive about it. read more

Went there with a group of 6 people based on YELP reviews. The restaurant was not crowded, maybe half full. The service was below average, very slow and a few orders were not correct. The chips were cold. The food was just ok. Was very disappointed with our overall experience. I hope they were just having an "off night". Would not recommend. read more

We ordered our food, the waitress although nice hardly spoke English she didn't understand what we wanted. More people came in and they got their food before us. We had a salad, 4 tacos and fajita nachos, as we waited no one came to say they forgot about our food, we had to go to counter and ask for it, once they knew we didn't have it,it still took another few minutes. Geez our order got lost, no one came to say anything, no one offered to comp any of the check. Sorry but waitress got no tip, totally ridiculous. read more
