Terrible management company. They do not answer questions promptly or at all. We haven't had a working laundry room in almost 2 years. Broken front which allows thieves to frequently steal packages. Our doors are being operated with aluminum foil. Being in property management myself I'm disgusted by their work ethic and their complete negligence of the needs of their tenants.

The elevators are dirty and they have no cameras. The smell is often horrible

I have lived in one of the buildings for 5 years and it has been such a horrible experience. The management is so rude and not caring or knowledgeable at all! The hallways are dirty, people can leave their garbage outside the shut, the laundry area smells like dead rats and garbage all the time. They turn of the water often for a few hours without giving aby notice. During the winter they often turn off the hot water, again without any notice. The intercon does not work for as long as we been working herencia when we rented we were told " That will be fixed soon" and up to this day no one cared to fix it. The elevator is often dirty and does not work properly. In 2019 the elevator broke down for 2 months during the summer and they did not even have the courtesy of speaking to us about the issue, of you went to the office they ignored you, our would tell you that "It's getting fixed" but not information on the expected date. And what is worse is that during that time the hallways had so much garbage, flies and roaches, but they had the audacity to charge the full rent. In 2020 for 4 months I had issues with people opening the emergency door for the roof and activating the alarm, that would go off for about 3 minutes, giving us headaches and making my dogs uneasy. People was crossing from the 14165 building to the one next to it, since there are no cameras the situation got so bad that we had a guy all high in drugs sleeping in the stairs towards the roof who would be there to the dark hiding, smoking and armed with a knife, the police eventually got him but the management did nothing, the police came because me and my neighbors called several times. In 2021 I had 2 packages missing and the office told me that even though they cameras that they couldn't really do anything. And then today I noticed that 4 packages arrived for me yesterday, I was feeling sick and did not check my emails, however my husband went at 9:00 pm to check the mail and by them he found a package for him open, and my 4 packages disappeared. My husband went to the office today and he was told the same BS from before, that they are not responsible. But I wonder, can just anyone come in an out of the buildings and take whatever they want? Isn't our safety a concern for them? I really can't understand how can they be so irresponsible and cold, there is no humanity at all. I hope you get to see this before even considering moving in here, they are super nice to welcome you, but once you are here they treat you as if you live here for free, but they actually are very expensive and quick to request their payment. LET IT BE KNOWN THAT I GIVE A BECAUSE IS THE ONLY WAY I CAN POST THIS REVIEW.

Eddy helped me with the lease. He also explained the portal. I'm disabled & technology can be difficult for me. He was very patient.

If you have an issue you can never be able to contact anyone from this office. Stay away. Worst property service.

It is clear that something very insidious and very corrupt is going on between HPD or whatever city agency is responsible for having this management company grow so massive even with thousands of complaints from tenants all across the city.. I have never hated a Management company so much. Since they took over our building, it has gone downhill with rat infestation cockroach infestations, just absolutely horrendous . We are looking to sue this management company and get up from under them . They are wicked and I feel bad for anyone who ends up in a building that they are managing.. Wavecrest Management is the epitome of corruption occuring within New York City's subsidized and affordable housing. I am convinced that their ulterior motive is to scare everyone away, causing them to break their leases so that they can steal and accumulate stabilize housing units, and get all of these units to become market rate rental apartments , or worse, get rid of all of the original members of the communities and replace them with immigrants. Either way this company is ran by satan himself. BEWARE! Get a lawyer..

Benjamin called me back (by calling me back, he was already a step ahead of many of the brokers I contacted) and we made an appointment to meet at their office. As a side note, parking is pretty convenient - plenty of meters out front or on the nearest side street, and free on the block behind the office. When I arrived, Benjamin greeted me and we chatted for a moment, and then he indicated that Jason would be taking me to see a couple of places. I had indicated that I was on a tight schedule in regards to finding a place, and they told me they would find me something that day. Jason was friendly, warm, professional, humorous, and unbelievably helpful. I was fairly clear in my own mind what I wanted in an apartment, but, being new to New York and knowing absolutely nothing about Queens, was open in regards to what neighborhood I ended up in as well as some other factors. I have no idea how many apartments we looked at, but it seemed like a lot. Jason was respectful in regards to what I was looking for in an apartment - he even thanked me when I nixed a place based on the creepy hallway (I would have looked at it, but he was having trouble getting a hold of the super). And they were good on their promise - the last place they showed me, I liked, and I came back two days later to put in an application. Fortunately, I did not get accepted to that apartment. Jason asked whether I'd want to see studios and I said that I really didn't, but he encouraged me to take a look at this one place and he would check to see if he had anything else available. When I arrived for our second appointment, I said that I REALLY didn't want to see the studio but he encouraged me to do so anyway. I have had many great experiences with salespeople who encourage me to try something slightly different than what I was originally looking for - if they are really great at their job, they really do know what they are talking about! We arrived at the studio - in yet another neighborhood - and it had been listed incorrectly - it was a one bedroom! And it was more perfect than I could have hoped for. I applied for it right away and was accepted. Throughout the process, both Benjamin and Jason were professional, friendly and helpful. They were also great at following up, keeping their promises, and being on time. They have fee and no-fee apartments - mine had a fee, and it was worth every penny!
