We signed a house and we were the prominent buyer. The seller also agreed. We hurried and sign the…read morecontract. Ruth in the mean while literally tells me how she did us a favor in giving this house and ask for $2000 bonus(bribery) . I said no of course. In the coming day after we signed the contract she tells us how our agent is asking for commission. We had no Agent. She tells all these lies on why the sellers isn't signing. She tells us how the seller went out of state. She did all of this to buy time for another buyer. She wasted 2 weeks after I signed the contract. We received a phone call at 9pm, Ruth tells us the seller will not sign our contract and they are going to sell the house with another buyer. We wasted our time and was cheated by Ruth. She probably sold it to the other buyers because they gave her a bonus(bribe). The price difference was by 15K. STAY AWAY FROM HER!!! She is a scumbag. The bad part is she owns Best Team Realty. She's the only one running that company. You can't complain to no one. This lady need to get her license revoked from her.

I have known her for over 10 years; she has sold many houses for me at market price in a short time. The bad comments from an upset buyer who names herself as Mina S. is not her real name and is not true. She refused to sign a contract because she demanded that my attorney must send a cancellation letter of the previous purchase contract I had, to his attorney. I was in contract previously with a buyer who could not get a mortgage in a timely manner. However, we closed with the same buyer, a month later after we returned his d/p check and his contract was cancelled. The angry buyer, who calls herself Mina, never signed the purchase contract. His attorney said that her client will order a home inspection; she delayed this process to get an appointment done on time with his inspector as well previously negotiating the price which was lower than the amount I agreed. As a matter of fact, I asked Ruth to continue showing the house and sell it for the same price it was previously contract and appraised for. We also had other buyers interested. Nevertheless, my attorney called me to say that the previous buyer in contract got a commitment letter, and they were ready to close. As a result, I told Ruth we are closing with the previous Buyer. Associate Broker, Jim Watson teaches Real Estate for Wealth Building and Retirement Income and it is an absolute amazing class. Aside from being a great broker, Jim is a magnificent instructor. I took many of Jim's classes when I was in the process of becoming a NY Real Estate Agent, including his school and state test tutoring. I successfully passed the first time with Jim's help. I love how Jim incorporates his personal experience in everything he teaches. It makes class entertaining, sets a great example for what he's teaching and makes it all easier to remember. Jim is not your typical instructor. He is passionate about what he does and he won't waste your time because everything that comes out of his mouth will be useful for investing, selling or inspiration. I read so many reviews on Jim Watson...I decided to enroll at NYRI. I couldn't wait to take any and all classes he taught! I ended up failing the first in class exam I took and reached out to Jim Watson for a 1-1 tutoring session which was an investment I decided to take on. Jim Watson is no longer affiliated with NYRI so the 1-1 made sense to me. I ended up staying after the 1-1 tutoring for a group session. 1 day with Jim and I passed my in-class exam and went on to take the state exam 1 week later and I passed the state!!! I can't thank Jim enough for caring about my education and success to push me to do the 1-1 tutoring. Best investment I have ever made!! I am extremely excited to take his Investment Workshop later in April. The man is a real estate guru and I will follow him to which ever institute is lucky enough to have him. read more

Jim Watson is hands-down one of the smartest, wittiest and most knowledgeable real estate professionals out there and he's pretty much a legend in the real estate community. I have taken a bunch of classes and courses with him and have never left them without lots of really valuable information and advice. In the seminar at EXIT (which by the way has a terrific facility - including a gym AND shower), he went over all the things you could get out of these other courses that people spend thousands on, plus he provided and went over how to use the financial calculator. He knows his stuff really, really well, delivers really engaging lectures, cares about his students and is really no-nonsense. Take his class if you get a chance, wherever he is. read more

Great Broker and Sales Manager. Pleasant and supportive Admins. Lots of training for new and season Agents. Full service office with Lawyers, Bankers, credit repair plus much more. Biggest Real Estate office in New York with full kitchen, gym and community room/event room. Access 24/7 plus parking space. My favorite is that they cater to the community for example "Last Thanksgivings all were welcome to join us and have a hot meal with us" and other holidays were also spend with the community. I took Jim Watson's day-long intensive investment course this past Saturday. I never thought I'd say this but.... it was fun! Jim is a great instructor! He manages to find a way of keeping the atmosphere light and entertaining while delivering a lot of important information. We all stayed awake the whole time, in a conference room, on a day long Saturday class. That should tell you something! Definitely take his classes whenever you get a chance. I took Jim Watson Real estate Investment class over the winter, and it was a very good class. It was Very informative He shows you the all the details of how to calculate percentages when purchasing a property that when continually practiced eventually will lead you to being an expert at real Estate investing. Hes a good teacher with a lot of knowledge, he has a lot of practical advice, and hes also patient , helpful, and quick to respond to students questions.
