If I could give Tomer Hatuka 10 stars, I absolutely would!…read more I had been living remotely in another state for a few years and suddenly needed to move back to Queens with very little notice. I contacted more than 40 brokers over the course of two weeks, and no one was able to help. I was ignored, told my budget was unrealistic, or advised to wait until the rental market improved. Unfortunately, none of those options were possible for me--I was running out of time and desperately needed a place to live. I came across Tomer's ad online and reached out late at night to ask about seeing the apartment. By the next morning, he had confirmed a showing, and I was on my way from Manhattan to Queens. From our very first interaction, Tomer was responsive, efficient, and genuinely helpful. The first apartment I went to see ultimately wouldn't have been ready in time for my move-in date. I was already preparing to leave New York empty-handed and was running out of options. I had broken the lease on my current apartment and was facing the possibility of having nowhere to live. I asked Tomer if he happened to have anything else available. Instead of telling me to lower my expectations or wait it out, Tomer was incredibly understanding. He told me about another apartment he had that wasn't even listed online and asked if I could come back a few hours later to see it. A couple of hours later, he texted me to confirm the details. I had just checked out of my hotel and was rushing back to Queens with my luggage and my dog in tow. The entire day was chaotic and incredibly stressful, but Tomer remained calm, accommodating, and professional. Within hours of meeting me for the first apartment, he had arranged another showing. And that second apartment checked every box--and, most importantly, it was available for my move-in date! I told him I wanted it, and he immediately sent me the application by email. From that point forward, everything was seamless. Tomer has been incredibly responsive by both email and text, and he has always been clear, organized, and upfront about everything I needed to know. He turned an extremely stressful situation into one that felt manageable, and I genuinely couldn't be more grateful. If I hadn't met Tomer, I honestly don't know how much longer I would have been searching. I would wholeheartedly recommend Tomer to anyone looking for an apartment. He truly went above and beyond for me, and if I ever need to move again, he will be the first person I call!

I was lucky enough to stumble upon this listing within two hours or so of it being posted. I called, left a detailed voicemail and less than 5 mins I got a call back from Jonathan. Immediately I was at ease just from his voice - yes, that's a thing. He sounded calm, collected and easy going. Next thing you know, we're driving to see the property, same day. I mean, does it sound like it's meant to be or what?!? Anyhoo, we get there and the pictures are exactly like the real thing. So many postings make the place seem bigger than it is so I was so relieved. I knew I wanted to sign right away. Jonathan made the whole process so much easier and reassuring. He was attentive and extremely responsive - I never felt like I was left "hanging. " Even if he couldn't get back to me with a specific inquiry, he would text me an update. My bf really wanted to see one more property but his contact was taking DAYS to get back to him which just goes to show how unreliable other brokers can be. So I was like, screw your contact, Jonathan is our guy just say yes! Lol All in all, a great experience and I'm so grateful we crossed paths considering how emotionally draining apartment hunting already is. Now that we have the lease signed, all that's left is to do is fight about the furniture. Yay!

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with Venture NY Property Management has been deeply…read morefrustrating. I simply asked for clarification regarding newly imposed co-op insurance requirements and how the coverage thresholds were determined. Rather than receiving transparent answers or supporting documentation, I was repeatedly told the requirements were "non-negotiable," threatened with fines, and ultimately informed that management would "not engage further" because the conversation had become "repetitive." As a shareholder, asking reasonable questions about building policies, insurance requirements, and risk management should not be treated as an inconvenience. At no point was any actual explanation provided regarding whether these limits were based on insurer recommendations, legal counsel, lender requirements, claims history, or any formal analysis. Instead, responses felt dismissive, defensive, and unnecessarily combative. Professional property management should include transparency, accountability, and respectful communication with residents -- especially when imposing financial requirements and penalties. I hope ownership takes shareholder concerns more seriously moving forward and improves how management communicates with residents.

After…read morepatiently waiting for months and months while my parents went back and forth over whether to sell or not, we were finally able to stick to our plan and list and stay listed with Abigail and George. Within just one week, we got more than 10 offers, many above asking price!! We took the offer we liked the best and proceeded with the deal. Our biggest obstacle was cleaning out the house, so Abigail and George referred to us two great companies to help out. They also continually checked in the whole time, to see if we needed any other help whatsoever. When we lost an important paper, Abigail helped us get another copy and even printed it out for my Dad since she knew he was busy cleaning up and might not even have a printer working anymore. Abigail said she thought of my parents like her own and she meant it 100%! On the final day when they had to hand over their keys, my parents still weren't fully done cleaning out, so Abigail herself helped move things and disassemble things (I'm sure George would have too, but he was at another appt). She even stored some stuff into her own car and brought it over to my sister's to temporarily store for my parents. Where else will you find brokers as caring, thoughtful, and compassionate as Abigail and George? If you are looking to buy or sell in Queens, you must contact them.
