By far this place offers a lot of luxury top of the line cars. I like the yellow Lamborghini and the red Ferrari. The Maserati in blue was just beautiful. There are so many choices in this supercar-exotic space: BMW, Audi, Aston Martin, Mercedes, Range Rovers, and many more! Of the cars in this class, I would choose the Audi because aside from the amazing luxury, the blinding performance, and the loads of tech options it is my favorite of choice. I wanted to have a great experience but.....first contact, someone called about the finance app I completed. Sounded very friendly. Seemed eager to help me. Requested my VIN by text. I provided it. Never heard back from him. Name o text...Stephen. I called the dealership, spoke with Matt who decided to pick up the ball and asked for the same info in a text as well as the mileage. I sent it (realizing now, this was prob where I made MY mistake) although I'm glad my time wasn't wasted at the dealership. Received a text back with a low appraisal value and asking how much could I put down). Now I don't want to waste anyone's time nor did I want mine wasted because my car is a 2008 BMW with 127k miles but I'm certain will sell for $10k or more and I'm upside down. I decided to just keep what I have because during my time of car shopping, my car has been appraised so much more than the $4500 Metrolina Auto was offering without seeing it. Metrolina is great for the high end market cars but they lack the same care and quality when it comes to lower end lot models..... So if you want a $200,000 plus Benz, Bentley, Ferrari, etc, then your likely in amazing hands and going to get 5 star service, quality, care and attention. However, If you go to buy a nice Mercedes or Land Rover off the outside lot, then do not expect the same good customer service and attention. Ryan, I like how you start out about purchasing the vehicle 6 months ago. Mind you folks after I received it, few weeks later it was in the body shop at Ferrari Newport Beach for the repairs that were undisclosed by Ryan and his associates. It was there over 3 months being repaired. As we have spoken several times about this issue, you and Metrolina knew that the report from True frame was a bogus report and you yourselves knew what parts were and were not replaced in conjunction with the report. Please do not try and skate around the major issues at hand. You knew the interior parts were broke, tires bald, side skirts damaged, yet you opted to not disclose this and shipped the vehicle anyway. I had to fly out to pick up the vehicle and you left me in a bad position. You didn't offer any help, rather you opted to get the conversation heated and said what did i expect from the car.. You were never in any way helpful, rather you were bent out of shape and said i had nerve for even bringing up the issues.. This is NOT what customer service is, let alone knowingly and falsely portraying the vehicle as something it was not. I can see why you do not want to admit any wrongdoing here, but its my duty to let the public know that you and Metrolina cannot and should not be trusted!! read more

Even though we got two beautiful Mercedes out of the deal, our first experience started well and ended on a sour note, so we were very reluctant to give them another chance. Man am I glad we did! We did all of our transactions with Blaine via text and he made the transition into my husband's new vehicle a breeze!! The next day we made the hour and a half drive to pick up the vehicle, but we were in and out in no time! After a poor experience at Keffer Dodge, I came to Metrolina Auto Group to look at a car. This was the best car buying experience I've ever had. I called ahead to ensure the car that I was interested in was still available and went there for a test drive. When I arrived, they had pulled the car out in front and had it all cleaned up and ready for a drive. They took a copy of my DL and handed me the keys. When I got back, I didn't feel like there was any need to negotiate the price, since it was already the lowest priced Charger on autotrader that had a V8, and it was better optioned than all of the more expensive ones. I don't know if they have a no-haggle policy or not.... I just didn't bother asking. I felt like the deal as advertised was that amazing. So anyway, they arranged the financing for me and I was out of there with my new car in less than an hour. Bryan, the salesperson that I worked with was really nice. The finance guy did not really even get involved other than to prepare the paperwork (before I got in his office) and we only saw him long enough to sit down and sign the papers. I would highly recommend this dealer to anyone. I will start all of my future car searches here (and I feel like probably end them here as well). read more

Horrible...... I was in the market for a used SL convertible. I saw one online at metrolina auto group and made contact with them. I spoke with Blaine and he assured this was a one owner car in pristine condition. I explained to him exactly what I was looking for and asked if there had ever been any paint work done to this car. Blaine explained to me that it was raining a bit there but would get it in the showroom and look at it closely and put a paint meter on the car to make sure the panels were not painted. Blaine called me back the next day and said the car was in showroom condition so I gave him a deposit and we moved forward with the car. I drove 3 hours that Saturday expecting to meet Blaine only to find out he was out running errands. Finally the GM came over and showed us the car. The entire car looked like someone had taken a small paint brush and had touched up paint everywhere. Three of the rims had tons of road rash and the car just looked rough in general. The Gm apologized and said he would find me the same car in far better condition. I asked for my deposit back and he took my card and said he had refunded the money. It was a total waste of a day and my deposit did not get returned util eight days later. Definitely not what I had expected from a high end dealer. read more

I had things taken care of and they paid but it wasn't right to even send the in that condition. I forgave them referred friend that brought a car from them. I Recently purchased a 2014 e class from metrolina, I had found a vehicle I was interested in and gave them a call. I was transferred to Blaine and I was informed the vehicle I was interested in had been sold but he was sure they could find me something comparable. I went down talked about what I wanted and sure enough we found another one that met my requirements. I had already arranged financing through another company but they managed to beat those terms through a different lender. A bit of haggling over my trade value and we were good to go. Only snag we had was I had picked a car that had to be shipped in and it took a little longer than we had talked about but this was over the thanksgiving week so I can't really fault them there. All in all it was an easy transaction and I would definitely work with them again, thanks Blaine!! read more

Purchased from Metrolina what I thought was a top of the line luxury car but, instead has turned out to be a death trap. Me and my fiancée purchased a 2006 BMW 750i from Metrolina Auto Group in August of 2014. We did an online application and was approved. We met with xxxxx on August 27 to test drive the vehicle. After the test drive we brought the car back to the dealership and began to ask xxxxx (xxxxx was with another customer) various option questions about the vehicle. After looking over the car we found a box that contained an old part in the trunk. We showed the part to xxxxx and asked what part did they replace on the car. He stated that he did not know, but took the box and part to their service department to inquire. He returned and stated that it was a valve cover. I then asked if the valve seals had been replaced on the vehicle and he stated yes and that it was a very expensive job. We purchased the vehicle and 2 days later noticed that when the car was idle with the engine running the car was blowing white smoke from the exhaust. I made several attempts to contact xxxxx and did not receive a phone call back. I researched what would case smoke to come from the exhaust in that model BMW and it stated valve seals, the very issue that xxxxx stated they had repaired prior to selling us the vehicle. Again, I placed several calls to xxxxx with no response. Finally after 2 weeks we had not received the tags for the vehicle and placed a call to xxxxx. We were able to get him and he stated that they were having an issue with the title and that was tying up them being able to get the permanent tag and registration for DMV. Again we mentioned the vehicle smoking and xxxxx stated he would get his service department to look at the vehicle. Two more weeks passed and we still had not received a call from Metrolina concerning the smoke or the tag/registration for the vehicle. Finally, the last week in September a young lady from Metrolina called and stated that the car was not inspected prior to them selling us the vehicle and they were unable to obtain the tags/registration until the vehicle was inspected. She stated that we could have the car inspected in our area or bring the car back to Metrolina and they would inspect the car and go DMV to obtain the tags. We tried taking the car to several locations in our area and was unable to get the car passed for inspection. Very upset and frustrated we contacted xxxxx to let him know that we could not get the car inspected. Again, we complained about the smoke coming from the exhaust and also about a new issue with the car, the car was not shifting gears properly when slowing or accelerating. He stated to bring the car back in and they would get it inspected and check on the other issues. We took the car down the next morning. They took they car to get it inspected and the car failed inspection. They explained to us what the issue was and advised they would wait for 2-3 hours and then take the car to get inspected again. We ended up staying at the dealership for hours before they were finally able to get the car passed for inspection. Metrolina told us to call to make an appt. to bring the car back in for the other issues. We made numerous attempts to call to schedule and appt. and no one would ever return a call back. On March 3rd I was driving the vehicle and stopped at my friend's house. I placed the car in park and got out of the car and walked up my friends driveway. As I walked up the driveway the car switched into neutral and began to roll down the street. My 13 year old daughter had to jump across the seat and try to steer he car and apply the brakes. Thankfully she was able to avoid hitting anything and brought the car to a stop. This was the last straw for us, so again we contacted xxxxx at Metrolina and explained the seriousness of the situation. xxxxx told us that he would make arrangements to get us out of that vehicle and into another. With no results from that we called and spoke with the general manager xxxxx and still no resolve. read more

This car dealership will do anything to make you happy if your buying a Ferrari, or a Bentley. However if your buying something like a Land Rover LR4 which isn't really a big ticket item for them. Don't expect them to be helpful at all. I bought a vehicle from them 6-8 months ago. I wasn't able to go see the vehicle I live out of state. I was sent a bunch of pictures and told by the sales rep that it's "so clean mint condition" everything on it was great that he would take it home to his family if he was married. Anyways after all the assurance they said they had mechanics look at it and it was good to go. Obviously I'm to naive and trust people way more than I should. So after 2 weeks from when I signed papers they finally shipped it out. Which is totally ridiculous my wife had just been in a wreck with a drunk lady that ran a red light. So when the car arrived first of all the shipping was supposed to have been paid for it was not $1,000 cash I had to come up with. Then it was filthy on the inside like they had taken it into the mountains for the 2 weeks they couldn't ship it out to us and it had the most horrible mildew smell inside it was disgusting. I 100% know that the pictures that they sent me were not of the vehicle I bought. It also arrived with 2,000 miles more than what they said it had. I called Steven the manager he pretended to help me, but just had other stuff going on at the moment they were opening another dealership. I obviously would have loved to have returned the vehicle, but Steven said no not possible. So I also talked to him about exchanging it but he didn't have anything at the time on his lot that we were looking for. So he told me he would find us a vehicle and we could exchange it after weeks then months and numerous calls nothing ever came of it. After months of calling and emailing him nonstop. It was obvious he didn't care about anything like honesty, integrity, decency, or good business ethics I honestly can believe he's a sales manager. He was completely ok with taking advantage of people as long as the bottom line was profits. In the end it is my fault for being so trusting and naive. Be careful of the wolf in sheep clothing.........I'm sure they're going to say something about financial or credit problems like they have said in response to any other negative criticism they have received read more
