my experience with Lake Norman Hyundai last Monday was phenomenal. Richard Marsh, the sales rep who…read moregreeted me and my friend when we walked in, was absolutely wonderful. No push, just information and he answered a ton of questions patiently and cheerfully. He was really awesome. Turned out that going in for information and leasing a car was absolutely in the plan and that subject was thoroughly discussed, pros and cons. Everyone from the manager to Richard to the finance guy were patient and wonderful. I had purchased a Hyundai Sonata, '08 I think, back in 2010 at Lake Norman Hyundai and I had an extremely positive experience over the years with that vehicle and the dealership, et cetera. I love my car and I love the fact that I can message Richard or call is right there to help even after the deal is done the papers are signed. I made an appointment with him on Wednesday to go up and go over the myriad of features in the car and he spent two hours with me, sitting in my car out front of the dealership going over absolutely everything.

It's been three months since the last time I was at this location. After I wrote the initial…read morereview, the owner had called me and definitely didn't give me any vote of confidence that anything was being handled. If anything he made it seem like I was being unreasonable because I wanted my car to look the way it did before they damaged it. They were supposed to have ordered another new part since the last one had scratches on it. It was supposed to be in within a month. I've never heard another word. I've given up on this location. They damaged my car and it seemed like an inconvenience to make it right. Absolutely do not recommend. I will literally drive 17 miles today to go to another Hyundai dealership, because these guys are clearly inept.

Ok so mainly giving this stars due to the great deal. Otherwise none. The young guy (I think…read moremicheal was his name?) we got the car from is completely inexperienced and has made it way more work than it needs to be. The day we got it it took like 5 hours of paperwork because the guy couldn't remember how to do anything and kept going back and fourth. We left to eat after a while due to him taking so long we were starving. As soon as we left they blew up our phones to come back. We ate fast and came back and still they weren't ready. Then they said there was no extra key when we left; about a week later called us that there was and to come get it. Mind you I live in Monroe. So that was ridiculous if they had kept track of it I wouldn't of had to go out of my way for it. Also have to get my car inspected because they failed to do that as well. I've had my car for over a month now and had to have some thing transferred due to it being so new. Then a women from this dealership called and told us we needed to get in touch with the company that the previous owner got warranty through and when we did they said no the dealership needs to contact them. When we called the dealership (again same guy) and said they need them to contact the company not us he said he didn't know and seemed lost again. I get people starting out in new careers are learning things as they go but there has to be some type of training to where they are better prepared than this. Not to mention the lady there also seemed inconvenienced anytime the young guy needed help which made him more of a mess. Just bad training & customer service. Has become more of a hassle than anticipated. Good price but not sure it's worth the hassle at this Adding insult to injury the lady saw this review and now hasn't called back to continue helping with transfers. Just lazy and unprofessional. Dropped to one star from two.

I did not have a good experience with Exit 28. I bought an Audi A5. One week in, I took the car to…read morethe dealer for an oil change and I learned that the timing chain was stretched . Exit 28 denied that there was anything wrong but then I took the car to another mechanic who specialized in repair for Audi's amen Volkswagon . Exit 28 did give me 90 day powere train warranty but the warranty would not cover my repair or the oil leak. So I literally took ownership of car and within 2 weeks, I had over 3,000 repairs. I would not recommended buying a car there without having no the dealer inspect the car .

My vehicle is currently still at the service center, so this review is ongoing…read more In August, I brought my vehicle in for a cold-start high-pitched squeal. It was diagnosed as a serpentine belt issue and not covered under my extended warranty due to normal wear. I asked at that time that pulleys and tensioners be checked to ensure there was not a larger underlying issue, as the noise concerned me. I was told everything else checked out, so I proceeded with the repair. A few months later, the same noise returned. I dropped the vehicle off in mid-December and was later informed the issue was a timing chain repair estimated at over $6,000 -- just days after my extended warranty expired. I received a voicemail to notify me of the need for a $6400 repair, and ask if I'd like to be placed with a salesman so they can get me in something new. My concern is that the original noise was present and documented while the vehicle was still under warranty, and I have requested that this be reviewed as a continuation of the original concern rather than a new failure. Communication has been inconsistent, and I am still awaiting a discussion with the service manager regarding next steps. I am hopeful this can be reviewed fairly based on service history, and I will update this review once the matter is resolved.

I also spoke with Perry, and together they made sure everything was taken care of. I received a complimentary oil change and was provided with a shuttle to and from work, which made things incredibly convenient. After everything was resolved, I'm very pleased with the turnaround and the immediate response. Thank you to Daniel and Perry for making things right.
