I also spoke with Perry, and together they made sure everything was taken care of. After everything was resolved, I'm very pleased with the turnaround and the immediate response. Thank you to Daniel and Perry for making things right.

my experience with Lake Norman Hyundai last Monday was phenomenal. Richard Marsh, the sales rep who…read moregreeted me and my friend when we walked in, was absolutely wonderful. No push, just information and he answered a ton of questions patiently and cheerfully. He was really awesome. Turned out that going in for information and leasing a car was absolutely in the plan and that subject was thoroughly discussed, pros and cons. Everyone from the manager to Richard to the finance guy were patient and wonderful. I had purchased a Hyundai Sonata, '08 I think, back in 2010 at Lake Norman Hyundai and I had an extremely positive experience over the years with that vehicle and the dealership, et cetera. I love my car and I love the fact that I can message Richard or call is right there to help even after the deal is done the papers are signed. I made an appointment with him on Wednesday to go up and go over the myriad of features in the car and he spent two hours with me, sitting in my car out front of the dealership going over absolutely everything.

If anything he made it seem like I was being unreasonable because I wanted my car to look the way it did before they damaged it. They were supposed to have ordered another new part since the last one had scratches on it. It was supposed to be in within a month. I've never heard another word. I've given up on this location. They damaged my car and it seemed like an inconvenience to make it right. Absolutely do not recommend. I will literally drive 17 miles today to go to another Hyundai dealership, because these guys are clearly inept.

I cannot say enough GREAT things about my experience with the team at Huntersville Ford. We started…read moreour search working with 4 Ford dealerships and 2 Nissan dealerships as we navigated our remote vehicle purchasing journey. We ultimately decided to go with Ford and located a particular F-150 at Huntersville Ford's website. I originally reached out online, speaking with Alycia who was kind enough to talk to me about my wants, needs, and my concerns around social-distancing amid the COVID-19 pandemic. She introduced me to Angelica who further helped me understand the pricing on the particular vehicle I was interested in; she, too, was very helpful and friendly. For much of the buying-process I worked directly with Eric Basiliere who was amazing. Eric and I went back and forth over email and phone for several days as I asked a million questions. I am sure I asked more questions than most customers, but Eric and his team never made me feel like an inconvenience and were always quick to respond. I had quite a few questions I needed answered (this was my first truck purchase, so I required a lot of education on the features), and even more requests around pricing, financing, trade-in, delivery, etc. Once we agreed on a price and our trade-in, he introduced me to Michael, the finance manager. Michael ran my credit through their most competitive in-house banks/financiers and was able to get me a phenomenal APR along with the available Ford rebate and sales price. When we came down to the final steps, I reiterated my sincere need to complete the process as safely as possible. I'm very high risk for COVID-19, and was not prepared to go for a test drive, let alone go into a dealership and sit in an office filling out paperwork. Eric & Michael handled as much as they could remotely/virtually and honored my medical needs. Once it was time to finalize the process, Eric was generous with his time and drove the truck to our home late on a Friday afternoon! My husband and I signed the final required paperwork (outside, distance was respected, and masks were worn by all), and Eric stayed an extra hour to 'onboard' my husband - to show him all the features of the truck in-person, to help him connect to the FordPass app, and to walk him through everything. All of this was not only late (after most/normal work hours), but outside in hot and humid weather. Overall, Eric and his team were INCREDIBLE! We've already referred them to our friends and neighbors and are looking forward to being Ford customers for life.

My husband and I have purchased 2 high dollar vehicles from Huntersville Ford. We had a great…read morepurchasing experience both times. Unfortunately, that is where our good experience ended. We bought the extended warranty on the 2nd vehicle. We ended up trading in that vehicle (at a different dealership) and we requested a refund from Huntersville Ford on the remainder of the extended warranty that was paid off. From the very beginning, we could not get anyone to contact us or return our messages. I finally got in touch with one of the sales managers, Joe Tamburello, who emailed me and apologized for the lack of communication with his team and told me what they needed to get the ball rolling on the refund. I was told it would take 8-12 weeks. Fast forward 12 weeks. We still had not received the refund (over $4,000). I emailed Joe and he contacted his team and told me it would be another 2 weeks. So, 2 weeks later, I reached out again to Joe. They still had not received the refund check. We have received these type of checks before and it has NEVER taken 14+ weeks. After him going back and forth, he reached out to me via a phone call and apologized (I won't bore you with the details), but he said the dealership would go ahead and cut a check and overnight it to us. By this time, we had already decided to never do business with them again. Service is great as long as you are buying, but when it comes to a refund, that is when you have issues. Joe again apologized and informed me that if we give them another chance to earn our business, he would do this and that and he would handle things personally and we would be given the VIP treatment. So, fast forward 7-10 days. My husband is looking to buy a truck. So, he decided to contact Joe via email about 2 trucks that he found online. Communication was slow and then Joe told my husband he would pass him over to one of the sales guys. My husband only wanted Joe to handle this because we were supposed to be getting the VIP treatment from him personally. A lot of back and forth happened via email and he kept getting jerked around. My husband was upfront where he needed to be as far as price, but instead of just saying no, we can't do that, they continued going back and forth. At one point, Joe told my husband he had given him his best price. So, my husband was going to think about it over the weekend and then noticed on Monday that the price dropped by $1 on the website. So, the price given to us was really not their best price and no one even called or emailed to let us know about the price decrease. I then emailed Joe personally to let him know our dissatisfaction with our supposedly VIP treatment. I was given a lot of apologies and excuses. I then just asked point blank, here is where we need to be, can you get us there. Yes or no. He then said he could not. Which, at this point, we were okay with that because we did not want to do business with them especially since this was the "VIP" treatment. I'd hate to see the Non-VIP treatment. It is sad that after buying multiple high dollar vehicles from them, this is the thanks we get. Lack of communication is a major issue with these guys. Most sales people would be jumping through hoops to do everything they could to earn our business and to sell a vehicle. Evidently, they don't need the sales that badly. Maybe, it's because of their new owner, Joey Lugano? Who knows. If I could give them "0" stars, I would.

Honestly, looking back on the purchasing process I was not unhappy with my sales rep, but I was unhappy overall with the buying process. They advertise the vehicle for almost 33% less than what they were willing to sell it for. Service did take care of me as I have a service contract and based off my experience there where I genuinely felt like they tried to take care of me, that's the only reason I gave this review I went in for an oil change unfortunately something got bumped a sensor or something and my car was driving. Funny when I left however, I returned and they immediately brought my car back and fix the issue. It was a loose connector or something. It really made me feel good knowing that the service manager actually took the time to address this issue/concern rather than brushing me off

I was surprised how they did not follow up, did not return calls or email information promptly. To be fair the used car side was fantastic. Nicolette was very responsive and is the only reason we are giving the dealer a higher review. Back to the new car, we were told that they were extremely busy, which was why there was a delay. When we arrived, there were so many people just standing around, and for the next five hours, the dealer was not that busy. Car buying experiences should not take this long. The people at the dealership are extremely friendly. Everybody loves to talk and we were impressed with how clean the service area was. The dealership overall is fairly nice.
