I received the car and noticed the whole front end had been repainted (terribly) and there was overspray below the frunk cover. I was ready to purchase a $250,000 used Ferrari 488 GTB from McLaren Charlotte, but the way they handled the deal was completely unprofessional. We had an agreement, and I arranged the wire transfer. Since I personally approve all transfers to protect against fraud, the Friday bank cut-off was missed. My team immediately informed them the wire would be sent Monday. I approved it Monday afternoon, and they were told again the funds would clear Tuesday. At no point did they say this was a problem. Instead of communicating with me, they canceled the deal behind my back. They even let me send a driver to pick up the car, only to tell him the deal was canceled when he arrived. After buying multiple cars from them in the past, this was a huge disappointment. Terrible communication, zero respect for customer loyalty, and a complete waste of time. If you're considering spending serious money here, think twice. I certainly won't be doing business with McLaren Charlotte again. read more

Purchased my 600LT there. Salesman was good but the overall transaction was not. Tried to charge up at the end on things we agreed would not be part of the deal. Typical stealership strategies to be aware of when they try to nickel and dime you at the end. I was prepared however. I drove all the way from NY with truck/trailer to pick car up. Unf that day was extremely rainy and made loading car much more difficult. There was very little assistance in getting the car on the trailer from dealership. You'd think a dealer with this kind of inventory would be more equipped. Needless to say this was truly disappointing. I will say the salesman helped where he could. His name was Kyle. I'm the end this shady dealer pulled the old "we forgot to pay your trade in off" nonsense. If you're unaware it's a tactic many dealers pull and are completely and totally aware of. Seriously one of the best experiences I've had at a car dealership. It's unfortunate that people who have great experiences don't necessarily take as much time to write a good note vs those who have bad experiences and then add theatrics due to them not getting the deal they wanted. The staff went out of their way to accommodate me as an out of state client. I bought a 2020 McLaren 600LT Spider and flew in for the occasion from Colorado. Kaitlyn was my salesperson and she did a phenomenal job with the reveal, which has now become a core memory for me. She spent so much time making it perfect, even finding balloons that matched the color of the car. Her words: "I live for this". This was my first exotic car purchase and I couldn't have imagined a more memorable experience thanks to the staff. A big shout out to Chris, the finance manager who was running up and down between his office and the service department to get all my questions answered about the maintenance schedule and another shout out to Kyle for giving me an awesome demo of how everything in the car operates. I did hit a snag along the way with this experience and it was all on me as I chose to handle booking the enclosed transport on my own - they showed up and absolute shadyness ensued so I had to cancel the contract for shipping. Almost immediately Kaitlyn went to work and got me a shipper to pick up the car same day for transport to CO. Seriously a great group of highly motivated staff and amazing selection of exotics. The online asking price is not what it seems. Asked 328K on all sites, but when they gave the numbers, it was really 335K. They will add an exotic car protection plan that they will not remove increasing your price significantly. Found a car my wife wanted at this dealership. We inquired and received a call from a salesman. I had a new Porsche convertible trade for the car we wanted. I got an offensive lowball offer for my trade. No problem. I countered. Never heard back. Perhaps they don't deal with sales under $300k? My wife has a GT2 RS and I have a pts GT3 RS coming in soon. We track those cars. It's not like we are "tire kickers" looking for a basement bargain exotic. We pay what the cars are worth. The car my wife wanted was a daily driver convertible hardtop to replace her current convertible that wasn't fast enough for her. Perhaps sales should not make poor assumptions on potential buyers. What a great experience! I was trying to surprise my wife for christmas with this R8 (picture below), and these guys definitely made it happen. As you know they are based out of NC, and I live in Orlando. The staff was extremely friendly and made everything possible for a fast and easy transaction. They even offered delivery to me at no additional cost, but it might of compromised my surprise for christmas. So i drove it down. Purchased a 2019 DB11 that was supposed to be in perfect condition. Had the car delivered since I lived out of town and it was far from perfect condition. Dash was literally destroyed from the sun, Convertible top would not work, paint chips everywhere. I even paid 3K to have the paint protectant put on the car and It was a total mess. Took it to another Aston dealer and they said, has this car been a track car? Wrong size tires, Brakes are aftermarket and are not the correct brakes. Tried working with the dealer to take the car back but nothing but unprofessional You can only trade the car back in on another car. So we worked the numbers. I could trade my POS car that i had for 3 weeks in on another car and it will only cost you 40,000. These people are con artist waiting for the next poor soul to put a deal together. I put 15,000 in it to fix the convertible top, get new brakes and fix the power window switches. Ended up trading for a 2021 DB11 and it cost me 60,000 to trade up 2 years where it should. UNBELIEVABLE bad people and business practices. read more

I came to buy a Range Rover from their preowned inventory. They didn't have the particular vehicle I was looking for, but I was still interested in what they had in stock, including a couple 2024 models. The salesman could not have been more pompous and disrespectful. He kept insisting that "this is McLaren and Rolls Royce," as if it wasn't worth his time to bother with someone interested in a $100k+ Range Rover. I asked if I could at least take a quick look at the 2024 inventory, and he had the audacity to pretend they didn't have the keys. His lack of professionalism was genuinely shocking for such a respected brand. At that point I had to simply walk off the lot. He made zero effort to disguise the fact that he was more interested in returning to his lunch than in selling a $100k car. Awful experience. read more

I was a customer who recently bought a Bentley super sport from this dealership. Upon the cars arrival I had to spend $7800.00 on maintenance on the car due to being mislead by this dealership. When someone spends over $250,000 on a car you would expect that it would be delivered in the best condition possible. Here is what I found: Music and HVAC did not work, an extra 850 miles on the car than what it was purchased at as Rico kept the vehicle for a month extra after I paid the deposit and just drove it. I was in Canada and Rico just kept on making excuses regarding paperwork and when I threatened to cancel the deal the car was ready to ship and to my surprise, when it arrived it had an extra 850 miles on the odometer. Service lights on the dash upon arrival, 3mm of tread on the tires (bald tires on a $300,000 car)!!! NONE of which was disclosed to me when I was buying the vehicle from Canada and shipping it over the border due to COVID. When the car arrived in Canada not only was it in poor shape but it also failed the inspection of being able to be safely driven in Canada. With all of these above issues we reached out the GM, Blaine who offered NO compensation other than $1500.00 for the extra miles on the car than what was reported. I was mislead when I was told by our Sales Rep Rico that this car was in "Mint Condition". This dealership takes advantage of its customers and does not report the true condition of the car, especially if you buy it site unseen. BE WARNED before giving any of your money to this company. They lie, drive the cars sold cars and will cheat you in any situation. read more

DO NOT deal with this shady and dishonest dealer. They will screw you. I found a car on their web site that I liked and called to ask about shipping it to CA. They said that would be no problem. I gave them a credit card for the deposit and, got the loan docs from my bank. They were supposed to send over the PO for me to sign and send back with the loan docs. I didn't receive the PO the next day so I called. They stated the car had been sold to someone else, but they had some similar higher priced cars I might be interested in. The fact that I had a deal agreed on and had given the credit card for deposit didn't matter. Classic bait and switch. read more
