So I walked into the establishment that appeared nice... only to be asked as I made my appointment do I want my nails longer? Seriously?? This was my first time at this salon with my family and we had the best time! We can be a little picky with how we like our nails since most places leave acrylics or healthy nails so thick but they did an amazing job and all are very happy with their nails. My daughter and I went to Metro nails to get a pedicure and our nails done. First, we waited for 30 minutes to start our pedicure but that was not my issue. I paid for a deluxe pedicure and barley got a massage. Second, I went to go sit down to get my nails done, showed the lady a picture of what I wanted done and my nails came out horrible. I did not even want her to finish them. The owner offered to fix them. I scheduled an appointment to come back. When I sat down I showed the owner the same picture and it came out just as horrible. I walked out. I had stains on my hands from the acrylic that are still there 6 days after the initial visit. I went back to VIP nails in Palm City where I usually go and had Vivian there fix them. Vivian soaked the wretched nails off, not only did it stain me but it stained her and her table. She told me that she has been doing nails for 31 years and has never seen acrylic powder do this with any color. The product Metro Nails uses is not good there. I felt rushed when I had to wait for 30 minutes for a pedi and another 30 minutes for my nails with a 7 year old with me. I was there over two hours spent almost $200.00 between my daughter and I and ended up going somewhere else paying to receive good customer service and great work! I was not offered a refund either. I will never go back to Metro Nails. read more

I'm not sure what happened with the negative reviews or why their toenails look that horrible- I have been nothing but happy since finding this nail salon. I won't go anywhere else again. Kevin and Sky are personable and great at what they do. I've heard good things about Tiffany as well. All the women in my family now use Metro and we wouldn't have it any other way. My visit was rushed. I got in the seat and the nail artist was rushing through each hand. My cuticles were not treated and the painting process was not neat. The residue left on the edges of my nails was files off with a nail file causing the sides of my nails to lose polish. The sides of my nails look like they were missed when painting. I have been here twice because it was just convenient and the reviews looked good. The first time wasn't bad just thought it was strange when the nail tech gave me a odd look because I didn't want my nails filed down. Didn't realize I was paying for you to judge me...but ok. I was in the area on Saturday and thought I would give this place another shot. I didn't have a good feeling about the guy tech since he didn't seem friendly at all. He didn't help me with my bag or offered me water. Didn't ask about the water temperature after I just about burned myself. I really need to walk away when red flags come up. After my pedicure I walked over to his station for my dip powder (whatever you call it)I requested ombré pink to darker pink look. I even showed him a picture to go off of. He had so many pinks so we looked and tried a few different looks before deciding. In the beginning I felt bad because he was patient with me and didn't seem like he had much experience with Ombré. A couple other techs came over to help him. It looked amazing but I looked closer when he got up and noticed that half the nails weren't covered at the top completely and it was so noticeable. I think he was just over it and didn't care. This crap isn't cheap and getting ombré they add an extra $10 more so I expect them to look beautiful. The manager noticed my look I had and came over to help. He told me to go over to his station and he would fix it. They got so busy and he told me that he would have to remove everything and start over. He also had appointment in 15 mins and could only give me one color. I have been here for 3 hours and I just wanted to leave. He did a crappy job as well because he was in a rush. The fact the he charged me was BS. I won't be going back. read more

Walk ins aren't welcome here anymore I've been going here over the past year and they have recently expanded their store front. I get my nails done every two weeks and a pedicure at least once a month. I used to walk in and it felt personable and welcoming! With my schedule I can't make appointments but when I walked in today at 1pm, I was told by a receptionist that they couldn't accommodate me until 4:30pm. I feel that they're becoming too commercial. I did point out that my right big toe nail seemed turned in, the tech began to cut away, I jumped and said that hurts...she responded ingrown...it hurt quite a bit and bled. This place is terrible, they didn't know how to properly remove prior nails, and because of it cracked two of my nail beds, then proceeded to glue my nail together without asking, they didn't remove all acrylic off either read more

I cannot say enough good things about Teddy and the salon. But let me start by saying not only is he an excellent nail tech he is by far the most polite and caring person that I've ever dealt with in the service industry. He is patient he does your nails how you like them and he is beyond kind. I have been to so many salons from Port St Lucie to PGA and no one even compares to his mannerism and skills. First off, I've been coming to this salon since I moved to Jensen in 8th grade! I am now 24 and still have been returning every 2-3 weeks. Tom & Kim run an amazing nail salon here. They just made an addition on the salon that is absolutely beautiful. I've been seeing Anna and Marie for 11 years and they have always do a perfect job on my nails and toes. I was away for 3 years going to college about 2 hours away, and I still refused to get my nails done anywhere else. Everyone here is always so friendly and nice to talk to. I've been to metro nails a couple of years ago and wasn't impressed but I wanted to try out their new salon. They took us right away and had three chairs all together for my party (we didn't have an appointment). We liked the women who gave us a pedicure. My mom and boyfriend had the same ladies for their manicures. I had to wait (a few minuets is fine with me). I got the woman who did my boyfriends nails and she did an excellent job on my nails. The downside: I have never gotten charged for a design (and I mean I have never been charged my a salon for a design) so that really upset me and the fact that no one told me that there was a charge. Also; I guess it's the owner? But anyway he kept shouting for people across the salon which is was not professional by any means. Today was my first time going in since Covid started and I have to say I was extra impressed with all the steps they took to maintain the customers and the staffs health. Every time I would go to get my nails done at a nail salon near me they would end up horrible, I started to give up on nail salons because they never looked right or were rushed in the process. I took a chance with metro and I said to myself this is the last time I'm getting my nails done before I give up and just do them myself, I call the salon around 6pm ( they closed at 7) & they told me they could get me in and then asked if anyone was "okay" to do my nails, I was hesitant but said yes. They put me with a woman named CHRISTINE and let me tell you... MY NAILS LOOK SO GOOD!!!! I'm so glad they happened to put me with her I've never had my nails done so meticulously, she was very patient with me despite them closing as she was doing my nails. 10/10 I would totally recommend! This was the first time at a nail salon I've ever asked for someone's business card because I loved my nails so much. I knocked a star off because as I was getting my nails done they were closing up shop and I felt like I was being a little bit of a burden being there so late so it felt a little rushed but none the less my nails look PERFECT. definitely am glad I got paired up with her. read more

I went in for the first time and I had a coupon for a acrylic fill for $15. I showed the coupon and the guy who did my nails said ok sit down . He did a good job doing my nails but I wasn't happy about charging me regular price which was $28. I feel it was misleading since he did not say it would be extra for anything . I think they should tell people what the price range would be before they do the work . Not sure if I'll be coming back. read more

I had a gel manicure a few weeks ago and the polish literally peeled a few days later...I like the atmosphere of the salon and chose to return to have my nails redone..I also had a deluxe pedicure (treated myself for my birthday) and had a much better experience.. I can see a difference between the last technician and the technician I had yesterday.. the first one when the polished peeled right off had layers upon layers of polish and didn't look professional.. the service yesterday was so much better and more natural looking... I discovered Metro Nails a few weeks ago and went in for a pedicure. The place was clean, the staff was really friendly and accommodating and my pedicure was really good. Since I had gone in on my lunch break, I made an appt w/Tom to get my nails done (pink and white) for later that day. He did a phenomenal job! I made another appt to get a filling for three weeks later (today) and he saw me promptly upon entering for my scheduled time. My filling was completely done in 30 minutes and my nails look like they were done fresh for the very first time---you can not see any lines where the nails grew out at all. I love Metro Nails and I love Tom! read more
