Extremely Nice and Friendly owner says she's from Thailand. I'm a neighbor of the business and it's so handy to walk in and have my nails done. They look so much better and the relaxing in a comfortable chair and get pampered. Several trips here so much nicer and easier to have them take care of me . I have been going here over 10 years now! John does a wonderful acrylic nail job and is REASONABLY PRICED! The pedicures are beautifully done and very relaxing in the brand new chairs! The entire shop has been redone! They do manicures, acrylics, gels and dips! They have enough color options it would be hard to choose! But, I'll old school and do only pink and white acrylics. read more

I went to Hot Nails to get my nails for a manicure. The nail technician totally damaged my nail beds with the drill. I went in to show the owner the damage to my nails and request a refund. The owner refused and started yelling at me. I decided to take a photo of the nail technician's license to complain to the State of Florida, and the owner grabbed my phone out of my had and pushed me. Needless to say, I called Martin County sheriff's office and reported the incident. This place is AWFUL!!!!! read more

I was in there area and desperately needed a nail appointment,so I found hot nail in Stuart. I saw on the door that they offer walk ins,so I asked to get my nails done. They had just opened and I was the first customer. As soon as the girl started on my nails (1st chair) a man walked in and she set him up in a pedi chair. She continued to worked on my nails only adding the tips and cutting then set me up in a pedi chair where I waited for 15 minutes before another worker walked in. At the same time a woman walked in and she told her to come back in 30. The woman said No.I called last Monday and made a 10:00 appointment. I waited for another 15 minutes until the first technician started my pedicure. The whole time I waited I could not relax, because the technician next to me had her AirPods in and was having a conversation the whole time she was giving a lady a pedi. Very rude,I do not think the lady even got a massage WTH? What I thought would be an hour for 2 services turned into a 2 hour appointment. Went there for a mani/pedi and while the nail tech did a great job, she proceeded to talk on her phone the entire time she was doing my nails. I don't treat myself often to a mani/pedi so I was very disappointed that it wasn't more relaxing. If there was an emergency she needed to deal with, I can understand that but it obviously was not an emergency. Hearing someone on their phone is not a relaxing thing. I won't go back there for that reason. If that type of behavior doesn't bother you, I will let you know that the salon seemed clean and the massage chairs are very nice. read more

Everyone was very nice. I told them I had an hour and half and they made it happen!! I did have a few flaws in my manicure but I can't be picky I got a mani and pedi for 32 dollars!!! It seemed pretty clean. So I think for now, until I find a new place, I will be coming back here. read more

The good thing was that the prices are decent. However, my overall experience was not good. I got a pedicure and I'm assuming it was the owner who was my nail technician. Her son was sitting at a manicure table across from where I was receiving my pedicure and he was watching something on a tablet. All I could hear was very obscene language and extreme profanities coming from his tablet as I was trying to relax and enjoy my pedicure. Not exactly what I'd like to be listening to as I'm paying for a service at a business establishment! It ruined my experience and I will definitely NOT be returning to this salon. read more

I wish I found them ten years ago! I was going to Super Walmart and I really wasn't happy but unfortunately I am always short on time and never know when I will go in to get my nails done. Then I started going to Kim's nails, I wasn't thrilled with them either. I know that she tried to make me happy but she was so rough, she would literally hurt me every time! Then finally one day I found Hot Nails and had John do my nails. I have been going back ever since with a smile on my face and my nails look great every time! Best of all he never hurts me and he uses gel polish so I can use my hands right away and the price is comparable! I couldn't be happier! They also do eyelash extensions for $25.00. The shop is clean and everyone is very friendly. I will never have to look for another nail salon. Thanks John! read more

I had a very bad experience at the Hot Nails Nail Salon at the Winn-Dixie Plaza in Stuart, Florida. The most disturbing thing to me was that my technician, John, had a very filthy station. Everything was covered in ground nails and germs and it seems his tools had not been cleaned in a very long time. I have been to numerous nail salons and I have always been asked to wash my hands before new nails were applied. John immediately began building nails on the unwashed dirty surface of my natural nails. I went in for my first visit and asked to do the same procedure that I was used to and showed him, which was SNS pink and white. I told him I wanted to shorten the nails some as well, about the amount that they had grown out. Before I knew it, he had extremely shortened my natural nails and started building very long acrylic nails. I just thought I was in a different state and this is the way they did SNS. He used the same powder, but it was building nails instead of the much healthier dipping. The smile line of the white part of the nails was really low on my nails making my nails look totally artificial. They did not look natural at all. I did ask him to shorten the white part, which he kindly did, but the smile line was so low, they still looked odd. I thought this was maybe the way ladies liked things in Florida and spent the next week observing other people's nails. I did not find anyone who had nails with such a low smile line. Now I have to go through the horrible and long experience of severely damaging my natural nails to get these acrylic nails off and the long process of letting my natural nails grow back. I did notice that the gal who had a station next to John's seemed to have a clean station. I spent a week thinking about this review before writing it. I wish someone had written this review for me! Others there might be better to work with, but the health department needs to get on top of the filth at John's station. That filth would not be tolerated in the nail salons I have worked with. I perhaps did a poor job of communicating what I wanted or it could've been a language barrier thing. I do wish that John would've asked me if he didn't understand what I wanted. Why would you totally change what a person had been doing without double checking that this is what they wanted. read more
