Spoke to Mike and he quoted me $150 to fix the ignition in my car. I know this is the price he quoted me because I called two other places and they each told me $150 so I figured this was the norm. Guy came out and did the job fine. When I went to pay, he told me a different price of $165. I called Mike and he told me that's what he quoted me. Now I know it's not a lot more, but it's the principal. He wasn't willing to work with me, basically I pay that and that's it. Now the work had been already done, so I didn't have too many options at this point. Guess I could have gone to court, but why? It's my word against his. Figured I'd write this up so that someone else wont get stuck with what happened to me. Please, if you decide to use this company, GET IT IN WRITING. If you don't you may be sorry. read more

They were there in 15 minutes and the technician was fast effecient and friendly! (house lockout) $80 service call plus $15 to rekey). The only gripe is in order to get a 10% discount you must email them instead of calling. I dont want spam, so I find that annoying. Mentioning the discount should be sufficient and would improve their customer service. With that said, I would recommend them. read more

We called for a locksmith to come to our residence to fix our mortise lock on our security screen door. Eddie called and let us know he would be there in 15 minutes. He fixed the problem, explained thoroughly everything he was doing and was gone within half an hour. They give free estimates whereas everywhere else I called wanted a service call fee that was not applied to your work. I would HIGHLY recommend metro lock and safe services. read more
