Watch out if you go to this store. I went in for a phone and to port my number to them. They had a good deal on the phone so I took it. I told them I needed it for work so I needed to know how much data came with the an they said I had to buy. The rep said he didn't know. Huh? So I asked if he could look it up before I agree to it and he said, "It's like 50 GB." I signed up after being told they have 25 hour customer service when it's only automated. I was told the extra $9.95 was for activation when it was for the insurance with a deductible that is more than the phone is worth. He lied about that as well. My service turned off at 11:00 that night so I got online to check it and found out my an only had 20 GB of data and that I couldn't talk to anybody about it. I went to the store to return the phone and get a refund. The kid at the store was ignorant enough to tell me that even though they gave me bad info on every aspect of the deal, their policy of keeping the money for the service plan and insurance they tricked me into buying was still enforceable because "it's on the receipt", you know, the one nobody gets until they have your money. ​ As a bonus, the supervisor on duty, Bianca, tried to extort me by telling me she was going to make sure I lost my phone number if I canceled, even though it reverted back to my old carrier the night of sale. I mean, how desperate for cash are these people? I'm embarrassed for them. I called T-mobile to find somebody with integrity and they said that, since I canceled, they didn't get any money from the store, so I need to deal with the store. Wow. They will let franchises use their name to con people out of their money and they refuse to help. The employees that lied to me (and the owner, if he keeps my money) can explain the recordings of them committing fraud by misrepresentation to facilitate the sale to the Consumer Protection division of the CA Attorney General's office. I'm not being sneaky... I told them I had recordings and they smiled. As far as the money goes, I'm certainly not going to court over $70. And I'm not going to jail over giving them what they really deserve. But I do know an attorney who can scrape up 80% of their former and current customers' info. I'm sure I'm not the first person that made the mistake if trusting them. Anybody want in on the class action? There's not much money in it, but for the thieves it's going to leave a mark. When asking for a manager or supervisor (usually due to competence / language barrier) its interesting to see just how long (1hr 20 minutes so far) and how many times they will put you on hold and hope that you hang up so that you dont complete the survey that is supposed to happen when they end the call. Came here with my dad to get a new phone. There was 3 girls behind the counter and not one of them greeted us. One man came in for help and went straight to the counter where they helped him. We were looking at phones for about 30 mins until my dad said "are we suppose to come up to the counter for help?" And they laughed. My dad's phone line is T-Mobile, and we did not know Metro by t-mobile isn't together. They did not help or were not nice in general. Definitely would not come here again. read more

I just want to start off by saying these people that work here are just SO sweet and they take their time to make sure you are happy with everything you want. A special shout-out to Michelle, she was professional, VERY fast, and had a great attitude with all the customers in the store. She got my sister set up with a phone plan within like 15 min- activated and everything, VERY fast. And I was so happy we chose metro pcs. They have great service and great customer support. The worst customer service ever. If you have an issue with a bran new phone, and you have tried countless times to resolve it. They lie and say they have contacted the District Manager and they never send an e mail. He doesn't have a name either. Stephanie has horrible customer service. And after purchase, if the phone has horrible technical issues, your screwed. They lock it for 6 months. And yet there is no contract. I WOULDN'T EVER reccomend Metro PCS to anyone. I came into the store in distress because my phone had a close encounter with WATER... While I was completely freaked out gazing at my life in pieces all over the countertop, Bethany remained calm and confident! Bethany took care of EVERYTHING... After the HAPPY dance, I left the store with a smile on my face as she fixed EVERYTHING. Bethany went way out of her way to make a MetroPCS customer very happy! This store is SHADY. Avoid this location at all costs. My phone was in great condition and wouldn't charge. They said it was under phone warranty and it'll be covered. Once the new phone is in they will contact us in 3 to 5 days. Its been 4 weeks, I've followed up and they don't have it. " uhm we have a delay....we can't tell you when it'll be in" is their excuse...ever time. Today i called the main office and they coincidentally have no notes on our account about that phone. They said we need to go in and speak with the manager....again. if our questions aren't answered they will take over. I read a previous comment that was similar. Seems super sketchy. read more

Metro PCS extended warranty is a waste of money don't buy it! My daughters phone was having problems sending 80+ messages each time you send a message so the phone or operating system needed to be fixed. Clerk in the Temecula store found a couple of very small scratches on the phone case corners so she said that voids the warranty. You had to look for these scratches under a light to be able to see them. I don't know of anyone who uses their phone that doesn't have scratches. It is very clear to me this is a ploy for Metro PCS to get out of honoring their warranties. I will be canceling all of my phone services as soon as I can and move to another carrier. read more

When i came into the store for the first time, it was not very welcome a few chairs and a huge counter. There were two girls, one kinda snotty and the other did not know what she was doing.. It took the new girl 2 hours to activate my phone, she would ask the other trained employee how to even take the back off my new phone. She eventually asked me to.. Very disappointed with my first visit, and every other one since then. The employees are not well trained and only use what they know, and not what they have been taught. Not trained on all devices at all!! I have a pretty extensive knowledge of wireless products and services and i do not work at a retail wireless place. But in the times i have been in the store, i have steered a customer that was standing beside me when i was getting my phone swapped out. And i steer them away from bad advice or bad recommendations they have gotten from the employees here. Because the employees here only want to make a sale and do not want to provide customer service if you need it at any other time after the sale. Very unhappy with this location. My wife and I went in to the store and wanted to switch from our current carrier over to MetroPCS. We were looking to port 4 numbers and wanted Metro's offer of 2 free Samsung A20 phones. To accomplish this we needed 4 A20 phones. The lady at the store told us that they didn't have any A20 phones but she would order them for us and call us when they came in. We agreed to have her order them for us on a Monday and she said the phones would be in by Friday. We never received a call from the lady at the store. I called on Friday and she said that the delivery had not arrived yet but when UPS delivered which was normally by 2 PM she would call. We never received a call from the store. We waited a few days and then called to find out when we could come in and get the phones and transfer our service. She told me that the phone had not come in but that she would have them by Tuesday. It is now Tuesday evening and we have yet to hear from the store or the lady at the store. Why would she promise on 3 occasions to order the phones and never do so? This one would think is a odd way to do business. We were looking to activate 4 new lines at this Metro Store but I'll be damned I'd I know how or why they would run a promotion and then never have the phones. read more

Went in to get help swapping out an old phone for a new unlocked one. We where turned away at the Menifee MetroPCS. Angie from this location was extremely helpful and patient. We purchased an upgraded phone for my husband at the Murrieta Metro PCS store on Sunday 10-3-16. The staff that was working was un skilled in working with the public and product knowledge. One girl at the counter helping us and one in the back room. We purchased the phone and asked the young girl out front to transfer our contacts and we also purchased a screen protector. she said the lady in the back room would have to do both for us. No complaint on the information transfer but the screen protector was put on poorly so they put another one on the phone. The young girl brought us back our phone. The phone protector is full of bubbles. We were told by her the bubbles would disappear in an hour. This is not true and I told her I was not happy. She said I need to have a manager do it but no manager was there. I tried calling the store several times today to get the protector replaced and speak to the manager but they do not answer the phone. Not going back there again. This kind of service makes me want to leave Metro PCS all together. read more
