It was available as stated, I was notified in a good amount of time and the pick up process was seamless. They check identification, which I'm happy about, as so many places these days simply take you at your word and don't. With high price items, it is a must. Staff helped to load the item and off we went. I will definitely patronize this location again.

They did a great job repainting the house. However, one area in the driveway recracked the next day, and mortar was not patched adequately. The store itself is always super clean, well-organized, and fully stocked with a great range of options for whatever you might need. Bonus points for parking too even though it's street parking only, I've never had trouble finding a spot! That said, I did run into an issue when I came in to have a key fob copied. Unfortunately, not only was the fob unable to be duplicated, but it was also accidentally deactivated during the process. Since it happened on a Friday evening, I wasn't able to reach my apartment management for a replacement, and ended up being without access for over two weeks. Despite that frustrating experience, I want to emphasize how great the team is overall. Everyone I've interacted with has been kind and helpful, and I truly enjoy shopping at this location. I just hope that, moving forward, there's a bit more caution with items like key fobs to prevent similar issues.

Excellent service with a quality product…read more I ordered 15 cubic yards of top soil which was delivered exactly on schedule, by a careful driver. After talking to me about what I wanted and checking that the product would meet the needs of what I was planning, he gently eased the tri-axle dump truck onto my narrow driveway and skillfully spread the large load to keep it almost completely off the grass/on the pavement. After shoveling, wheelbarrowing, and re-shoveling almost every handful of soil myself, I can say this product is an excellent mixture. The only lumps I found easily crushed in my hands. I wholeheartedly recommend T E Wood and will contact them first for any of my top soil needs.

Extremely Disappointed - Poor Communication and No Accountability…read more As new homeowners, we were excited to move into a property with a pool, and according to the documents from the sale, T E Wood Farms was the original installer. Naturally, we reached out to them when it was time to open the pool this season. Unfortunately, the experience has been nothing short of frustrating. After multiple calls and even showing up in person at their facility, we were told, without any explanation, that they would no longer service our pool. Despite the receptionist being very kind and understanding each time we spoke with her, no one ever followed up on the messages she passed along. We even visited the business again in person and spoke with Donald, who we were told handles pools. Instead of helping, he spent time complaining about the previous owners and their child and offered no support. He couldn't even provide basic information like the blueprints or piping layout for the pool they installed. We ultimately had to hire another company to get the pool opened and discovered issues with it maintaining proper water levels. T E Wood Farms has been completely unhelpful in addressing or standing behind the work they originally did. At this point, we will not be working with them any further. The lack of communication, accountability, and basic professionalism over the past month has been incredibly disappointing. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend T E Wood Farms for any pool-related services.

I wanted to properly repair the lath and plaster walls in my home, not replace them with sheet rock…read moreor put up patches that wont last. None of the big box home supplies or small hardware stores carried proper base coat, gauging, or finish plasters. They all recommended that I use Spackle or joint compound, which will not adhere to the existing lath, shrink, crack, and fail completely in the near future. Tony at Peoples knew exactly how plaster walls worked, understood that I wanted to repair them correctly, and had everything I needed in stock. I knew which scratch/base coat plaster I wanted, but wasn't sure which finish plaster I would need. Tony knew exactly what would work best and made sure I understood how to mix it. I think some of the negative reviews here are a misunderstanding about what this business is. It is a building supply yard, not a hardware store. They carry a lot of odds and ends that you might find at a hardware store, but I'm guessing a good 80% of their sales are raw building materials going to commercial builders.
