At the moment Justin is a one-man operation, and as a result he will require more time to complete his job than the big boys (e.g. California Closets when it comes to custom built-ins). The big boys, though, use particle board (whereas Justin uses birch plywood) and farm out the manufacturing operation to a factory to get things cut quick and have a install design (whereas Justin cuts everything himself in his own home, transports it himself and has to do all the alignments himself). I thought I had a civil engineer in my house measuring the curvature of my walls, that is how detailed he is. I asked Justin about what other kinds or work he does. He does all kinds of remodeling, including bathrooms among other things (although he will contracts out the plumbing for example). The big guys generally have a lead time of like 2-3 months. Justin's lead time is probably 1 month or so. He is extremely flexible. Very punctual too. I highly recommend him.

I definitely recommend Bath + Kitchen to design and install new kitchen cabinets. Bath + Kitchen…read moredoes an outstanding job with design, remodeling and cabinetry. We love our new space. The team is well versed in kitchen design and does beautiful kitchen designs (just seems the pics). They asked lots of questions and made sure to design the cabinetry with the right amount of drawers, accessories and lighting to meet our specific requirements. During install the team was very communicative and the crew was on time and professional every day (and wore their masks all day while working in the house). Appreciate the time they spend to make sure you're happy with the design and details.

Years later, it was time to replace everything, and we wanted a kitchen with a better flow, more space, and better quality cabinets and appliances. Most contractors we contacted simply wanted to replace everything without improving it. Bath Plus Kitchen has actual architects on staff, listened to my list of wants and needs, and then incorporated them. I liked that they change a base price for this, so that I had the option of taking the plans to a different contractor or of using their in-house building crew. We went with their building crew, and we're really happy with how the kitchen turned out. It's so much more open and spacious than before. I have lots of space for working. I upgraded to a powerful stove with a hood, both of which work great. I'm really happy with the quality of the cabinets -- such an upgrade from any I've had before, probably ever. I'm enjoying the little extras that they planned into the kitchen that wouldn't have occurred to me, like dimmers on all of the lights, the quality hardware, touch-sensitive faucet, even the matching wood-panel vent covers and switch plate. The building crew did a very good job keeping the site clean and performing quality work all the way around. Nothing has felt wobbly, looked crooked, or seemed in the slightest bit off. A few negatives: Bath Plus Kitchen is BUSY! We started working on this project in November 2022. We finalized the plans, picked out appliances, and put down a large deposit in early February 2023. Work on our kitchen actually began the second week of July. That's a while to wait! We also had a few communication challenges, like a shifting start date, when to expect the crew to be at our house, and who was responsible for arranging delivery of a few items. It was nothing awful, but worth keeping on top of. Overall, the kitchen looks great and is great to cook in, and I'm excited to have friends over. I think we will enjoy it for many years to come.

The entire process, from the very first time they came to our house to measure, until after the kitchen was installed and they had their touch-up guy come by, was fantastic. These guys are genuine, they care, and they go out of their way to help and anticipate your needs. Zack was always very responsive via email and phone when we needed him or had some questions. He consistently went out of his way to help us and make us feel comfortable with our decisions. He was never pushy or impatient. I highly recommend you call these guys and will do so myself in the future when we remodel our bathrooms. Broad Creek Kitchens & Millwork recently renovated our screened porch into an all weather room…read more The room is remarkable. All of our friends and family are amazed at the quality of the work and design. One family member called the mechanic that did the work an artist, and he has since hired them to redo his kitchen. The tile work on the floor is done with wood grain porcelain in a herringbone pattern - just beautiful. The ceiling and trim are beautiful, as well as the high quality windows that were installed. This job in no way resembles the porch enclosures that are advertised. The windows are custom made, and the room is insulated so well that it never gets too cold in the Winter nor too hot in the Summer. The tile floor is heated. Between that and the gas fireplace that was installed, the room stays very comfortable and never too cold. Six or our friends have recently had work done by Broad Creek, and everyone is equally pleased. And above all, their prices beat the competition by far. As long as you go along with the contract terms, and pay as per the agreement, you will have no problem with this builder. The only problem I have heard of is when the client refuses to pay for work completed according to the contract. Everyone deserves to get paid, and when the payments are not made as scheduled it is unfair to the builder, and the job stops. I think that is only fair. I know I wouldn't do work not knowing whether or not I would get paid for it. I would recommend this company to anyone serious about renovation and not trying to pull one over on the builder.

Very disappointed and not at all as expected. The tile work was ripped out several times during a lengthy install and is in the process of being done over again by someone else at more cost, but properly. There was actually an open hole in the wall left when tiled. Cabinets are not sized properly for a fit in the kitchen. I have two vanities in a master bath and one is shorter than the other without reason. Kitchen and bath cabinets are not in the proper size. The composition of the cabinets and the layout of tile (missing niche in center of shower wall) aren't what were in contract. When you are working a kitchen or bath project, these are not the problems you want to run into that turns into a long list of problems with the need to now go to alternative means to resolve. Rather than fix the problems, owner is not assisting with any reasonable solutions as he states he wants more money for other work not agreed or on contract first. I wish I had known much more.
