From our very first consultation, Charles was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and detail-oriented. He took the time to understand exactly what we wanted and even made suggestions that elevated the final outcome beyond the practicality of what we had imagined. When it came to the fence, Charles again went above and beyond. He worked with the unique layout of our backyard, and the final product is sturdy and secure enough to handle our pitty who tries to climb it often. It's clear that he takes great pride in his craftsmanship, and it shows in every detail--from the precision of the woodwork to especially the quality of the materials used. Communication was excellent throughout the process. There were some delays due to weather and my own scheduling issues , but Charles was always transparent about timelines and commitment to finish the work, and any minor adjustments were handled promptly and professionally. He kept us updated every step of the way, which really gave us peace of mind. If you're looking for top-notch construction work with a personal, trustworthy touch, I highly recommend Charles and Clyde Construction Co. We'll definitely be working with the them again on future projects!

I contacted MAK Remodeling to renovate my entire townhouse. I researched 4 remodeling companies and…read moreMAK was selected because the cost was competitive and it was the only company that offered a 2 year warranty. I provided a picture of the color scheme and the solid hardwood floors that I desired. The hardwood floors were a line item in the contract. I also sent an email of the type of solid hardwood floors that I would like from Home Depot to the Project Manager. This company pulled a bait and switch and installed fake hardwood floors when I paid for real hardwood floors. The Project Manager sent me an email stating it was an "oversight". I requested a refund of $6,000; I paid over $15,000 for flooring labor and allowance throughout my house. The company responded, stating that I have a beautiful home and to go and enjoy it. So, after saying it was an "oversight" they failed to take ANY corrective action for this deception. Buyer beware!

Installers show up without stair runners, never added to the work order, never ordered. Got passed around from person to person until I ended up with Mike, who was totally dismissive. Said Warren didn't work there anymore and we "couldn't" have stair runners with LVP anyway. No explanation for why no one reached out to us after Warren left or why we were sold stair runners and LVP if they weren't compatible (which isn't true). Finally had to go to corporate to get someone to take this seriously. Now all of a sudden we *can* have stair runners but someone has to come measure, order them, then schedule a separate installation. No apology, no explanation for what happened or who dropped the ball. I would never work with this company again and we are still trying to unravel what happened with our installation. No accountability, no apology, just Mike offering lame excuses about how he, the director of operations, has no idea what's going on.
